It is usually a bad idea to do any major processing directly within a JSP. It is better to create a helper class and invoke methods on that. This helper class can then be tested outside of the inhospitable JSP environment.
To run the '.ksh' file you will need to use either Runtime.exec() or the more modern ProcessBuilder. You will save yourself a lot of grief if you read thoroughly the 4 sections of http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-12-2000/jw-1229-traps.html and then implement the recommendations.
Note - although the 'traps' article is written around the use of Runtime.exec(), it's content is equally applicable to ProcessBuilder.

I've been using the PWS to run the website on NT workstation 4.0. It was working

I am not quite sure you can do that and it would even be not supported... Again, what is the purpose? Why do you want to run your openscript code in Eclipse?
What is the code you try to run?
As an example, even if you include al the jar files and so on. don't think the function "Launch Browser" could work because it isn't only java code orjar files.....
If you give us more background. maybe we can guide you to a better solution...

Ummm....Oracle Forms is a foreground runtime kind of thing. What you want is a database procedure (or an OS utility - it depends on what sort of processing you want to do in the background).

Read an avi file using "Read from binary file" vi

My question is how to read an avi file using "Read from binary file" vi .
My objective is to create a series of small avi files by using IMAQ AVI write frame with mpeg-4 codec of 2 second long (so 40 frames in each file with 20 fps ) and then send them one by one so as to create a stream of video. The image are grabbed from USB camera. If I read those frames using IMAQ AVI read frame then compression advantage would be lost so I want to read the whole file itself.
I read the avi file using "Read from binary file" with unsigned 8 bit data format and then sent to remote end and save it and then display it, however it didnt work. I later found that if I read an image file using "Read from binary file" with unsigned 8 bit data format and save it in local computer itself , the format would be changed and it would be unrecognizable. Am I doing wrong by reading the file in unsined 8 bit integer format or should I have used any other data types.
I am using Labview 8.5 and Labview vision development module and vision acquisition module 8.5

Hello,
Check out the (full) help message for "write to binary file"
The "prepend array or string size" input defaults to true, so in your example the data written to the file will have array size information added at the beginning and your output file will be (four bytes) longer than your input file. Wire a False constant to "prepend array or string size" to prevent this happening.

Why don't just put the common code in a separate file and include it in both. i.e. the code that is in one.jsp that is needed by two.jsp could be put in a common file and included in both pages, thus the HTML is separated off. If this will not work, set a boolean value in two.jsp that can be used by one.jsp to decide if the HTML should be displayed or not.

You can call , but it would not be a good design approach.A droplet can do the same task for you.

Adding a fragment file (*.jspf) to a *.jsp file
What I did:
1. Mkdir Web Pages\pages\common
2. Create a *.jspf in directory
3. Mkdir Web Pages\pages\common
4. Create a *.jsp in directory
5. Select page fragment
Outcome:
My *.jspf file is not shown in the combo list box of the "Select Page Fragment" dialig box, unless I create the *.jspf in the Web Pages directory.
Question:
Why?

Since you're talking about "mkdir" etc. it sounds like you're trying to do this outside of the IDE. If so, you should note that a fragment is NOT just a .jspf file! All web forms in Creator have two files: a markup file (.jsp or .jspf) and a backing bean (.java). You must create both, by the same name, in the correct location, for the form to be considered a valid fragment. It's best to do this through the IDE.
In case you did use the IDE and it's still not working, perhaps there's an issue with creating page fragments in subfolders. I know we had some bugs with creating regular forms in subfolders and most of those bugs were fixed but perhaps there are some additional issues for fragments.
