How to Run teststand sequence file using the LabVIEW

I want the execute the Teststand Sequence file using the LabVIEW .Net containers.I didnt find out the Execution Parameter in the .Net Container.Do you any suggestion regarding this question.Please let me know.

TestStand comes with loads of Operator Interface examples some simple, some full fledged. You can find it in teststand public folder win7 path here:C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 2010 SP1\UserInterfaces
You can take these examples or use ideas from here, also read the teststand reference manual. It has a section about Operator Interfaces.

�Unflatten From XML� is of little use in parsing because it requires the data type. So it seems that the user has to parse each data value, and then �Unflatten From XML� can help a little.
I would like to see NI provide a VI for parsing it�s own schema.

LabVIEW's XML functions are another way of saving data from controls and indicators that is in a more standardized format. If you look at the Unflatten From XML shipping example, it shows taking the data that you would normally send to a Digital Wveform Graph and converting it to XML instead. This data is then unflattend from XML and wired to the graph. Since you know what you wrote to the file, this is an easy thing to do. If what you are looking for is a way to look at any data in any LabVIEW XML file, then you are right, there is not a VI for that. However, I do not believe that that was the intention of the XML functions in the first place.
By wiriting data in XML, this allows other applications outside of LabVIEW to parse and recognize the dat
a. In LabVIEW, you would already know the types and can place a generic item of that type. The issue of knowing the type is that you need to know the type of the wire that comes out of the Unflatten function so that the VI will compile correctly. You could always choose a variant value to unflatten and then do some parsing to take the variant a part. Maybe this will help you out.

How to run a batch file using tigger....

Hi, i am trying run a batch file using a trigger on a table.
say i have a table XYZ(col_1 varchar2 primary key, col_2 varchar2)
the values of col_2 keeps changing and col_1 are constant
whenever the value of col_2 in any row changes from "on" to "off" i want to run a batch file C:\Users\ABC\Desktop\test.bat
i did some searching but couldn't find any solution. Thanks in advance

I have 10 text files in my project my task is to load all the text files data into Relational Database so i can use sql*loader to load all the text files data into a Database.
but the thing is another project i have 200 text files so i need to run these text files using UNIX script could anyone tell me how to load all the text files using UNIX

This question relates to shell scripting and in IMO it is not an oracle question.
I have made some initial assumptions before my proposed solution.
PLEASE note that this is untested, but can just guide you as a template for solving your problem.
Assuming that you have properly set up the control file and mapped each and every table in it as per the file information which you have..
Assuming the text file to be in the format of : ------ (as suggested by other posters earlier, this file holds instructions about the file and table mapping which shall be used by your sqlldr process.)
tmp.txt:

How to read two text files using the Read from spreadsheet.vi and then plot it

I need to read two text files using the read from spreadsheet function and then plot these files over time.
The file with the .res extention is the RMS values (dt and df) and the second file contains the amplitude of a frequency spectrum.

How do I find the path to a TestStand sequence file using LabVIEW

My LabVIEW application launches a bunch of teststand sequences, provided it has the complete path to each of them. I want to make it more flexible by providing it just the name of the TestStand sequence so that it will go and find the path to the sequence by searching a directory structure. TestStand has a neat FindFile() function that can do this, but I need to do this from within LabVIEW. Is there a way to do it?

There are a few ways to do this depending on how you are getting the sequence files. If you are calling the GetSequenceFileEx method, you can just pass the GetSeqFile_FindFile (0x20) flag in the SequenceFileFlags property. If you are using the ApplicationMgr.OpenSequenceFile method, this is automatically done for you.
If you want to use the FindFile function in general, you can use the Engine.FindFile method.

I guess the follwing part of your log-configuration is wrong:

effective-severity="ALL"
maximum-severity="FATAL" m
nimum-severity="DEBUG"
name="DefaultController">
Try to change in log-configuration the value for name in <log-controller> to the start sequence of the packages to be logged. E.g., all our packages should start with com.yourcompanyname.projectname
To log all messages from classes in these packages make the name = com.yourcompanyname.projectname.

I performed the same steps given in the link and ran the ex plan, but the task shows running and never completes. In my case i have created bat file for a different purpose (not for purging cache).

In your mapping set the file name using the code in this link and then in your Receivr File Adapter select the Adapter Specific Identifiers --> FileName .

How to sign multiple jar files using the same certificate..?

I want to run my application using Java Web Start.. i am using around 16 different jar files out of which around 13 are 3rd party component jars. I want to sign these jars using the same certifcate..., i am using the follwing code to sign the jars:

Well for mulitple signing of jar files you can use ANT tool. Its easier and faster.
Regarding the present problem -- hmm.. well it looks like you are using 2 different alias names for signing the jar file. Try using the same alias name and that might solve your problem.

I developped a sequence file with many levels of interlinked subsequences, and I want to be able to run selected subsequences/steps after the great-grandparent, the grandparent and the parent sequence.
Anyone know the best method to do this ?

Indeed, there was an little error in the sequence file. You can find the corrected file in attachment.
Run the selected step "Grandparent 2" doesn't do what I require because this run all sequences under "Grandparent 2", while I want to run "Parent 2.2" and "Child 2.2.2" under "Grandparent 2".
