How to run the sample code using the sdk?

Hi,
I want to run the jsp code from the enterprize sdk available in the sdn community. Can any one tell me how to execute these jsp sample codes and what is the pre-requisite regarding the set up.
I already have the deployment ready.

Hi Amar,
To execute samples code, it is same what is required for normal J2EE application.
Make sure add all the jars to your web application.
These jars can be found on your BO server installation if windows.
For BOE XI 3.x

TestStand comes with loads of Operator Interface examples some simple, some full fledged. You can find it in teststand public folder win7 path here:C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 2010 SP1\UserInterfaces
You can take these examples or use ideas from here, also read the teststand reference manual. It has a section about Operator Interfaces.

Sample application using the Eclipse BIRT schema

Somaco have produced a sample application based upon the Eclipse BIRT example schema (customers, orders, products, etc). Hopefully this will be of some use to new-to-Spring developers looking for other example applications and sample applications.
So far we're tested/run the sample application on Tomcat, using JOTM transactions against the MySQL version of the BIRT schema. We'd like to (a) offer the sample application to those Weblogic users looking for sample applications (other than petstore), and (b) get some feedback on the sample application from Weblogic users - both for the deployment and for the app itself.

The sample application uses the following Spring MVC Framework features:
<ul>
<li>Various Spring controllers including: SimpleFormController, AbstractWizardFormController, and MultiActionController.</li>
<li>Validation and Custom Editors (including a CustomTimestampEditor for java.sql.Timestamp fields).</li>
<li>Clearly tiered application design with web, application and persistence tiers.</li>
<li>Ibatis/DB persistence tier using result maps, correlated result maps, dynamic and iterative map definitions.</li>
<li>Simple QBE on text fields.</li>
<li>Externalised messages (for i18n/l10n).</li>
<li>WAI-friendly page structure (e.g. CSS2 styling, use of divs, not tables).</li>
<li>Declarative JOTM transactions.</li>
</ul>
The sample application was created using the Somaco Software Production service.
Follow the link from the Somaco home page to download the application (~4.1 MB).

Sending an ESC code using the serial port

I have a motor control aplication that requires sending an ESC character using the serial port. LabView has several built-in functions (end of line, line return, etc.) but I just do not know how to send this particular code using the serial port. Any ideas?

The hex code for ESC character is 1b, Try writing it in a 8 bit unsigned number and then change that byte to charachter using labview function "byte Array to string". In this way you can pass this charachter.

What are the max practical limits for the sample clock using the Shielded Single-Ended Flying-Lead Cable?
I am playing with the Labview embedded example "Dynamic Generation and Acquisition Source Synchronou.vi" using the Shielded Single-Ended Flying-Lead Cable and the PXIe-6556.
This example write in the channels 0-7 and read in the channels 7-15.
It also export the sample clock and data active event so we have a "Source Synchronous"
I change the original example to set the input impedance to 50ohm and VH and VL voltatages.Write 3.3V - 0V and read 0.5V 0.3V.
The problem is the signal integrity at higher frequencies. Please see the picture attached.

According Hardware manual the Maximum Sample Clock rate is 200 MHz.

Is not clear for me if your error message was received on LabVIEW or on your Agilent Scope, and I don´t know your Agilent Scopes specifications. Neither I don´t know what exactly you are trying to generate, maybe if yo ucan clarify more your application and your issue I can help you more.

How do I find, at-a-glance, the sample size used in several music files?
Of all the fields available in a FInder Search, "Sample Size" is not available. Finder does offer a "Bits per Sample" field, but it only recognized graphic files and not music files.
Running 10.8.5 on an iMac i5.
I did search through a couple of communities but came up empty.

There is no View Option to allow display of a column of sample size.
For WAV or Apple Lossless files, it is available on the Summary tab (one song at a time, as you know). For MP3 and AAC it is not available at all.
You can roughly infer it from the files that are larger than expected for their time.
99% of the music we use is at the CD standard of 16-bit, so I can guess that displaying it has never been a priority. However, if you want to make a suggestion to Apple, use this link:

I know how to lock the transaction code using SM01 but is there any other way to do it.

How to run two vi's at the same time, one uses an AI task with 8 AI channels the other a single AI and AO channel???

Hello Everyone,
Here is my situation. I have one vi that is reading an AI task of 8 channels AI0 --> AI7 (one sample on demand) and also has control of all of the digital outputs on the board. My problem is that I want to run another vi that will use the last AI channel AI8 and an AO channel AO0. These two vi's do not need to know anything about one another but I do need them both to be running at the same time. Currently when I try running the two vi's together both vi's crash and I get an error message stating that the AI8 pin is reserved. AI8 is not part of the task and is not refrenced anywere in the larger vi. I am assuming that this problem is do to the fact that the larger vi is occupying the DAQ board, cycling through the task when the smaller vi is requesting data from AI8 and the DAQ board cannot do two things at once. The sampling rate on the smaller vi is not really that important. Is there anyway I can get the smaller vi to read from AI8 and not crash??? Software and Hardware listed below. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

It's good to read Antoniad's post. It reassures me that I can use my new iPad as an international communication device which is the reason I purchased the thing. However, I called Verizon today (my provider of cellular data) who told me that I can't just pop in a SIM card as you suggested. He also said that he was from the "Pre-Pay" division of Verizon and he was certain that I couldn't do what I planned to do. I was extremely disappointed as I had called Apple prior to buying the iPad and I read the algorhythm on the website for choosing an iPad before purchasing. Those sources were quite specific and the information seemed clear. I would be able to use my iPad to communicate through cellular connections while traveling on the road, literally, abroad. I was told that I could pop in a data card wherever I was, just as you indicated in your message above, and voila I was good to go. The Verizon rep definitively rained on that parade, but said that I might be able to do this if I have a "Post-Pay" account, a different area of Verizon. I haven't had the chance to talk to this division yet, so I looked to Apple's Support for answers. Maybe I will find out that I can use my iPad as an international communication device while traveling on the road afterall, however, it appears I may need a different type of account (Post-Pay), something I was never warned about. Can I switch to this kind of account? I don't know. I have to find out. If you have any information about this issue, it would be good to share since I strongly suspect there are others who bought the iPad for the same purpose that I have.

What I'm looking to do is to have self powered in ceiling speakers in every room in my house with out having to run wires to every room to carry the audio signal. I would like to use the airport express to do the job of carting the audio signal.
Here's my set up now I have an airport extreme and one airport express that I use to carry audio to one room.

FWIW. I have used up to four AirPort Express Base Stations (AX) for streaming sucessfully in pretty much the way you have described. I didn't have a need to try more so I can't attest that more would or would not work.

actually that is really helpful. My directories are most likely incorrect, but I'm coming to java from a c/c++ background and don't know how to make the directories correctly for the given package. I'll look that up and see what I get. In the meantime, if you or anyone else could follow up with a link or a quick explanation on packages and directories that'd be great too.

I found the return_value is true and the CookieName is not null.
But the login page still appear. please help me thank you

For example, in 10G, when you double click on an Actor, you get a really useful set of fields to fill in. In 11G, you get xml boilerplate that I don't know how to use, and has none of the fields on the 10G properties panel.
