How to save as in pages

I have used Word for ever and love being able to "save as" so that I can use a document and edit for new document.
But there is no such command in Pages and its a nuisance, there must be an easy way, please?

The changes introduced with Lion didn't go over very well with a large number of Mac users, not because they couldn't continue to do what you are asking about, but because they couldn't do it the same way they used to do it. There are two ways in the new scheme, plus the reinstated and somewhat hidden old way. What Apple thought you could be taught to do (differently) is to open the old file and then File > Duplicate. This gives you an exact copy of the old file, with an altered file name, so you don't accidentally save your changes over the old file. The new file will look exactly the same on the surface but won't have the history of changes created by the new autosave function that the old file has accumulated. The other way is to File > Duplicate after making some changes, probably because you forgot to Duplicate earlier, and use the new feature called "Revert" to put the old file back to where it was when you opened it.

I don't believe that there is anything in the iPad User Guide about saving Web pages as Web archives which is what the original poster asked.
With the current iPad Safari there is no way of saving web pages. Images on web pages can be saved and, of course, web pages can be bookmarked.
To save web pages you can use another app like Goodreader. A URL in Safari can be transferred to Goodreader for downloading (add "g" before http).

I have a similar problem with Firefox on android. When saving a page as PDF, often the PDF page size isn't big enough and just shows part of the full web page. Is there any way to set the PDF page size and make it bigger,say A4 or some other size?

How to save ONE single page of pdf document?

I have a 115 page pdf document that I can open in Adobe Reader. I want to email just ONE page of this file to someone. How do I save just that one page from the file (as opposed to sending the entire pdf document)?

If you're on a mac forget about Acrobat on Lion (maybe even Snow Leopard and Leopard too). I ran into this issue on Lion so here I am....
you have to go through the routine of "printing to",, With Acrobat go to the printer preferences panel > select pdf, select save as pdf... only to find you cannot and get some even more riduclous and useless pop up telling you to chose file save as.... which only lets you save the entire document! Utter
waste of time and space...and not what you are after.
Solution... Open the pdf with Preview, then Cmd + P will bring up the same dialog box mentioned above with pdf down bottom left... First enter the page number into the pages option's From dialog... eg From 40 to 40 (= page 40 only) then hit the pdf bitton and dave as,,, Works perfectly with Preview but no chance with Acrobat!!!! I am starting to get the feeling that this product is fast becoming redundant as it seemingly is not up to basic operations such as printing or saving off a single page anymore. Plenty of freeware solutions are now available on the net - some of which I am quite sure would handle this... but since preview is installed on mac by default.... why not?
After all this have a good think abou whether you will or even need to Upgrade Acrobat the next time round. It seems the more 'advanced' Adobe get the more useless certain products are becoming.... Don't know if it's just me...

Seems there is a way to print a single page with Acrobat X.. but not at all as straightforward as mentioned above...
You need to go View>Tools> Extract, then select the page you want and save it as a seperate pdf. Then open the new pdf and print that... Wonderfully intuitive on Adobe' s part....

How can 'save as' a Pages document in iCloud Pages?

Sorry, my previous directions were for the Pages app on Mac OS X. If you want to duplicate a file from the browser you'll need to navigate to the main file repository and choose the file you want to create a copy of.
Click on the gear at the top of the page
Click Duplicate

I'm working on a multipage PDF document consisting of several electronic forms. At the end of each form there is a SUBMIT button to send the form via email. Is there a javascript to specify the page range that gets submitted, so that only the one form that is filled out gets submitted, rather than the enitre PDF?

I don't think that what he had in mind:
here is what I think he wants though I don't know if possible in Acrobat. (Maybe indesign but never used indesign).
he has 3 forms that span over a 10 page PDF. (this is all suposition)
Say they are not necessarily related. Or do not have to all be filled out even if related.
say first form is 3 pages long and has a Submit buttonon 3. The next starts a page 4 and goes to end of page 7 where there is a submit button. Finally the 3rd form starts at 8 and finishes at 10 where there is a submit Button. Posibiliy there is a Submit All button on 10 also.
Submit button 1 would only submit 1-3
Submit button 2 would only submit 4-7
Submit button 3 would only submit 8-10
Submit all would submit 1-10
I don't if an extract and send would work.

When I save my Illustrator file as a pdf, it is about 2600 kb, my web site admin will only allow storage of 5000 kb. I tried to "save for the web", but that only saves the first page of my document. Any suggestions other than paying for more storage???

What pdf preset are you using? Try smallest file size rather than illustrator default.
Save for web does not do PDF, so no multipage.
