How to say NSFontPanel to not show some fonts

I need that my application (osx 10.6.8+) not shows some fonts. I have tried to assign subclass of NSFontManager and NSFontPanel from setFontManagerFactory:/setFontPanelFactory: and override availibleFonts methods but nothing happens. Seems that it's bug in OSX.

You could have a VI set as a dialog for the message box. Store the value of the checkbox in an INI file before the dialog closes. Before showing the dialog read the value from the INI file.

The strange thing is that the Embedded Web Server says:
"This specifies the Bonjour domain name assigned to the device, in the form <host name>.local. If a user-specified host name has not been assigned, the default host name HPxxxxxx is used, where xxxxxx are the last 6 digits of the LAN hardware (MAC) address. This option cannot be modified."
But I did assign a user-specified host name and that name does show-up everywere (also within Bonjour), except in the sidebar of the finder (hp###xx##x####). Lots of people have the same issue, when searching on the interet, but not one has found the solution.
Please help with solving this issues?

Flash Builder 4.6 code hinter problem - not showing some methods

Hi All,
I have a problem with FB code hinter. It does not show some methods on an object.
To be exact I created a Date object and FB code hinter does not show .toDateString method (actually I it shows only one to string method - .ToString(), although according to docs there are more)
When I use .toDateString method, code still compiles and work just fine, however method is not showing up in code hinter, which is really annoying..
Anyone had this problem? If so, please, share some wisdom how to solve this thing.

UPDATE:
Here is some more info in my problem.
I have tried to reinstall the application, but it did not help.
So what I did was:
* first I installed FB standard edition version 4.
* I checked the code hinter and it worked. It showed .toDateString method.
* I have purchased FB standard 4.5 upgrade.
* I installed this upgrade, and boom the code hinter does not show the method...
* Next I tried to create a project with Flex 4.1 sdk and then it worked - method was there. So the problem is with 4.6 sdk apparently...sucks...

Ipad not showing some jpeg files

My i pad is not showing some of jpeg files received on mail as attachment, these are being displayed completely blacked out , i have also tried saving them on ipad and then tried opening them with other apps also but same result !!!!??? However the same files are properly displayed when i see them on pc or on my blackberry .... Can somebody help me find out what is the issue and how can it be resolved??

Probably because all of the Music wasn't selected to sync from iTunes. When the iPad is connect to iTunes on your computer, you can select Sync Entire Library in the Music Tab of iTunes if you want all of your music on the iPad.

Mail app not showing some png and pdf attachments.

I'm using the iPhone 4s and recently, both mobileme and yahoo email accounts are not showing some png and pdf attachments. I'm seeing the attachment is there, but it doesn't load. Load remote images is turned on in settings. Does anyone have the same problem and a solution/explanation?

My work email account is an IMAP account.
I removed my work email account on my home computer this morning to test out this problem on my computer at work. I just sent a test message to my work account from my iPhone. My iPhone, iPad and computer at work still have my work email active on them and all the devices are showing the test message as new and unread. The problem seems to be that when I have my work email activated on my home computer, the messages do not show new and unread on the rest of my devices.

ICal is not showing some past events since I upgraded to Lion.

iCal is not showing some past events since I upgraded to Lion. I can find the past events in mail but if I click and open them, they are not showing up on the calendar. Advice? I am trying to recreate my schedule from past meetings.

Have managed to fix this already. Been working the issue for a few days now, and a few minutes after writing the above post I decided to reset the Time Capsule to factory default settings.
After entering all my details again (used same network names, passwords etc) the Time Capsule was rebooted. When it came back on line - guess what? Yep, the MyBook WD drive is now visibile. I can connect via the network from my other machines to the drive, and iTunes is back.
So - thought I would post my resolution in case it helps others.

How do I undo Do not show again?

I'm making a video with alot of screenshots from a video strung together. When I put the first clip into Timeline, it displayed:
Fix quality problems in clips?
(checkbox) Do not show again
[Yes] [No]
I clicked "do not show again" and "yes". I realized what it did was brighten the clips, which I did not like. However, I can't seem to disable this now. Can and how do I uncheck do not show again?

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system?
My generalization would be:
Edit Menu/Preferences/General and put a check mark next to Show all do not show again messages.

Safari not showing some of the fonts

Safari is not showing the fonts on a lot of websites, and it is safari because i opened the same page on chrome and they are showing up on chrome.

That's the LastResort font showing where the intended fonts should be. Usually, this is caused by bad font cache data.
Close all running applications. From an administrator account, open the Terminal app and enter the following command (or copy/paste it from here):
sudo atsutil databases -remove
This removes all font cache files maintained by OS X. Both for the system and the active user account. After running the command, close Terminal and immediately restart your Mac.

     I recently bought and installed Adobe InDesign CS4. It does not have some fonts I want, e.g., Papyrus Bold. I copied it from the Windows XP Fonts folder into the InDesign Font folder, which, for starters, was empty (even though when I open the InDesign application its inherent fonts are available). I have gone to online Help and tried different things, but I still cannot get Papyrus Bold when I open my file.
     Where are the InDesign fonts stored, if not in the InDesign Fonts folder?
     How can I make the fonts that are in my Windows XP to be available in InDesign?

     Thanks for your quick reply.
     I don’t see why there should be a problem with the Papyrus font I copied from Windows, since it works just fine in Word.
It is listed in the Windows XP/Fonts folder as Open Type, although in brackets beneath it has “True Type.”
     Note: the Adobe InDesign Fonts folder was empty when I first viewed it (except for my attempted copies of Papyrus and a couple of Lucidas). Where are the inherent InDesign fonts stored, if not there?

Footer image is not showing some part of it.

I have placed my footer image and used Tile horizontaly in the master page. It previews correctly in the browser from master page, but not from the other pages.
But when it previews or exports with the different pages, it is not showing as it supposed to. Bottom side of the footer is cut out and shows white.

After exporting the whole project and inspecting the css file, I found it was missing height property in the footer section. I don't know why it is messing up the css when it comes to pages other than master page.
