You can go into the settings, accessibility and turn parallax motion off. THis is what makes it look 3D, like your icons are floating on your screen. It helps a bit because to have that 3D, your wallpaper needs to have an overlap off the edge of the screen.
ALso, if you go into the photos app, find your photo, send it to be wallpaper (the box with the arrow poking out of it) you will have a bit more control. The higher resolution your image is the more you will have.
Some have also reported some progress rotating their image. For example if your picture is landscape (wider than it is tall), when you go into the photos app, hold your iPad in portrait mode, taller than it is wide. Do the send to that way and see if it helps with you having more scaling room

I have recently looked at athe code for Image Processor.
To avoid bailing on errors it uses two techniques.
1) It turns off all PS error reporting in addition to just turning off dialogs with: app.displayDialogs = DialogModes.NO; (it restores the original settings when exiting)
2) It uses the Javascript construct Try.....Catch around the basic body of the code so "any" error will not abort the script but just jump to the "Catch" code.

And one of the cons in the PL/SQL language in my view.
The language does not allow parameters to be declared in the fashion you are attempting to. Even declaring a subtype and using that, does not enforce either the precision or scale, on the parameter value passed.
Even worse - the parameter value can be a different data type all together from the defined parameter type - and a silent and implicit data type conversion will be done at run-time.
So you can expect run-time errors in your code unit caused by the caller passing invalid values, despite the compiler okaying the call from the caller to your code.
There are pros and cons to this approach. But if you are from a very strong type language environment like C or Pascal, you tend to see more cons than pros in this specific case.

How to turn on and shut down Xserve RAID when G5 starts

Hello,
Finally i Put my Xsevre RAID in the Aiino ClusterMaster 12U
connected with the G5 via the two fibre channel and one ethernet to control start up and shut down.
Since I don't leave the machine always on when not on schedule, everytime I Start the G5 I have to launch RAID Admin, erase the system, add a new one, enter monitoring password (that switched back to factory default), and start the Xserve (and I have to enter management password).
Is there a Script or something like that that runs automatically when I start the G5 and when i switch it off, so I don't have to do all these steps everytime including unmouting the Xserve prior to shutting It down?

1. Grab the document's allPageItems.
2. Iterate over it, ignoring text frames.
3. Check to see: (a) if the parent is a character and (b) if the graphics collection of the page item is empty. If so, delete it.

How can I descreen and scale the target image size with a HP 8600 n911 premium?

I recently purchased an new HP 8600 n911 premium all-in-one, HP's top of the line all in one inkjet printer/scanner. I cannot find any settings that permit me to descreen an image (such as one in a newspaper) or to adjust the size of the target image. Is there additional software that will permit me to do this or am I missing something in the software provided by HP?

You would need software form a third party to have this option. The free software that comes with the 8600 doesn't have an option for that. Vuescan is the only software I could find that says it works with your pritner and has a descreen option. You have to purchase it, but it will give you more advanced options than the software that came with the printer.

Speeding up and slowing down still images

I still am unable how to figure this one out. I have found a slider bar under the art/clip. I right clicked, turned on time graph, moved this points around and still see no difference in sppeding up or slowing down. I am in the right place, close? In the motion window I see Time Remap, see points have changed but am unable to move this points from here, I can move other points like scale, rotate. In Time Remap I see a speed section but this is greyed out at constant speed.
I want to be able to have a still begin or end with a speed up or slow down as I pan or zoom.
Any suggestions?

First, please verify that you mean CDDA and not CDA. CDA is not an audio format.
CDDA is pretty much the "raw" format of an audio CD. It is extremely unusual to have it as a separate file. If you still have the original CD that it came from, re-rip the CD using this document. (Edit added. I meant to add the link to this document: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12486 )
Otherwise, a web search will turn up converters that can process a CDDA file, although I have not used them.
