How to scan an image bottom to top?

I know how to do the top to bottom, but the oposite complains about ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException
I try something like:
for (int y = height; y > 1; y--){
for (int x = width; x>1; x--){
any ideas?

The Graphics origin (0, 0) is the top-left corner. x increases from left to right, y increases from top to bottom.
It's the same in all visual development environments (like VB, VFP. VC++).(0,0)  (1,0)  (2,0)
(0,1)  (1,1)  (2,1)
(0,2)  (1,2)  (2,2)db

  • How to keep a image lways on top of internal frames?

    Hello.
    I have a main frame with sevral internal frames. I need to put a image on this
    window that can move this image remotely.
    How to keep this image always on top of these internal frames?
    Is there any panel that can put on top of these internal frame?
    Many thanks.

    Thanks for you reply and sorry for my break English.
    I mean I need a image that moving on a frame which has internal Frames.
    When the image meet a internal frame while it's moving, this image will go under of the internal frame , so that we can not see the image any more.
    What i want to do is that let the image always keep on top of the window,
    even if it meet a internal frame.
    Just imagine the windows cursor. A cursor is always visible no matter where is it.

  • How to scan large images with the CanoScan 9000F Mark II

    I kept getting this error:
    ScanGear
    You are trying to scan an image exceeding 100 MB.
    Reduce image size or switch off the thumbnails view mode,
    when you want to scan this image.
    OK
    I couldn't find the fix anywhere online but I eventually figured it out myself. I'm posting it here so that other people don't have to waste time figuring it out.
    The fix is to click the button in toolbar in the upper left corner of the ScanGear window. The icon looks like a photograph and a slide. The tooltip when you hover over it says "Switches on/off the thumbnails view mode".
    This will switch the preview window to showing the entire scan area but you can still zoom in to adjust the scanning rectangle by clicking the magnifying class button in the toolbar.
    There is another setting you may want to change in order to be able to scan even larger images.
    - In the Canon IJ Scan Utility, click the "Settings" button.
    - Click ScanGear in the list on the left.
    - Check "Enable large image scans".
    - You can also set the JPEG and PDF compression levels from here by clicking the "Settings" button.

  • How to add a image at the top of every pages of a pdf document

    Hi all,
    My problem is as follows. I have a .pdf document and I'm copying it to another and then I'm appending some new things to it. Now while adding new pdf contents I want an image to be added for every new pages added to the document. I tried using "document.getPageNumber()" here document is a Document object which is a part of "itext-1.3.1.jar". But "document.getPageNumber()" is returning 0 every time.
    If anyone has the solution please help me out.
    Regards,
    turja

    there is no cursor to be set, as you go adding
    something in the pdf document those get added to that
    document and if one page gets filled it adds new page
    to it.If it says "current" page, then this implies that something is current with regards to something else. I'd like to know what "something else" is.

  • How to save a scan in Image Capture?

    How do I save my scan in image capture?
    What option to I go to save it as a JPEG or PNG to my computer?

    There's no Save command because Image Capture automatically saves scans when you click the Scan button.
    To find the format options, you have to click Show Details at the bottom. This will reveal the save location and format options, including an Overview button so you can test your crop etc. settings before you do the final scan.

    This suggestion is not very helpful because this information is very difficult to find in the Help. Image Capture doesn't have a "Save" or "Export" command like most apps do, so anyone trying to find this info in Image Capture Help will be frustrated until they eventually dig down and discover the section "Scan images with a flatbed scanner using detailed options." In fact, if someone searches for the term "save" it doesn't even turn up any results, and "JPEG" or "PNG" only turns up results for the digital camera import part of Image Capture, nothing about scanning.
    The Apple help for Image Capture is so incomplete and counter-intuitive that this is one of those times when it's better to answer the question directly then to dump someone into the top level of Help with no guidance.

  • Bottom image showing thru top image, help

    hi,
    i received a pdf, looking at it thru preview looks fine. placed pdf in indesign file (cs3) and can see bottom image coming thru top image. Want bottom image (globe) behind top image, but showing thru. If I check off Overprint Previes it looks fine but still looks bad in indesign file and still prints (from printer) that way. How do I fix this?
    thanks

    A bit confused by the question without seeing an example but I'll try and help. If you want the image top image to overprint (making the bottom one show through) you could select the image in InDesign and set the Effect (effects panel) to multiply.

  • Last night suddenly when I right-click-view-images in firefox, they appear centered and against a black background. It's usually meant to be a white background and the image appearing at top left. How to revert it?

    I'm having trouble with something in firefox, it's quite minor but still bugs me. Last night suddenly when I right-click-view-images in firefox, they appear centered and against a black background. It's usually meant to be a white background and the image appearing at top left. I can't remember what I did to change this if it's my fault; if someone knows how to revert it I'd be thankful.

    cor-el : thanks for the pointers! I wish the solution isn't an add-on every time ... if such long-standing behaviour is going to change, the least that could be done is put in an about:config option to get back the old behaviour.

  • How do i convert my scanned jpg images into word

    How do i convert my scanned jpg images into word

    No, Acrobat Pro is expensive
    95% of all the professional scanned in books are in PDF, the entire structure and countless years of work have gone into Acrobat being not just the "best" standard for scanned books, but really the ONLY standard for them.
    Yes, many many little programs can convert to PDF after you have them in a file, or even from Safari you can "print as PDF" or "save as PDF"
    however it just saves them as PDF, and you can use Acrobat READER for free,....
    but Reader is just that, a reader, you cannot do pro editing, scale down the file size etc etc, signatures, portfolios etc.
    Ive got a 42 Terabyte collection of PDF books,.....Ive spent too much time staring at PDF books   LoL.

  • How to use Percent_Rank to knock out the bottom and top 10% of query?

    Hi,
    I'm trying to use Percent_Rank to knock off the bottom and top 10% of a query result, and then take an average of what's left.
    The query is of the form:
    SELECT 'Average Resolution Time Days' Service_Time_Type,
    ROUND(NVL(AVG(NVL(hds.hds_working_duration(jr.date_lodged, jas.job_close_date),0)),0),2) Time_Days
    FROM hds.hds_job_request jr, hds.hds_job_assignment jas
    WHERE jr.job_id = jas.job_id
    and jas.job_close_date is not null
    AND jas.job_close_date >= '01-JAN-2006'
    AND jas.job_close_date < '01-NOV-2006'
    I would like to add a: WHERE PERCENT_RANK ?????? BETWEEN 0.10 and 0.90, but I can't work out how to use it, can someone help?
    Thanks

    I worked it out:
    This is the query I ended up with:
    SELECT 'Average Resolution Time Days' Service_Time_Type,
    ROUND(AVG(duration),2) Time_Days
    FROM
    SELECT hds.hds_working_duration(jr.date_lodged, jas.job_close_date) duration,
    round(percent_rank() over (order by hds.hds_working_duration(jr.date_lodged, jas.job_close_date)),2) pr
    FROM hds.hds_job_request jr, hds.hds_job_assignment jas
    WHERE jr.job_id = jas.job_id
    AND jas.job_close_date IS NOT NULL
    AND jas.job_close_date >= '01-JAN-2006'
    AND jas.job_close_date < '01-NOV-2006'
    WHERE pr BETWEEN 0.1 AND 0.9
    ORDER BY 1
    Thanks for all your help
    Cheers
