How to separate two fields in Text element of Smartform??

Hi,
I am trying to separate two fields by a space, for example &WA_ACC-G_L_ACCT& &GV_ACCT_TXT&, but evry time I save the smartform the space disappears and output is continous like 56000Product Materials.
The desired Output I am looking for is something like
56000 Product Materials.
How do I do this ??

U can try what Narendra has said ,if u are not able achieve then do this :
Create constant c_space type char1 value space
and try printing it between ur variables, ur problem is solved this way

Hi
You can create Smartstyles, in which you can define paragraph formats for texts and character formats for character level changes.
Paragraph format ---> alignment, font size etc
character format for ---> superscript, subscript.
After creating, in your smartform, there will be a option in the text element to enter a style.
You give the created style and you can use the paragraph and character formats i that style.

Can any one let me know how to customize the web item TEXT ELEMENTS. When we place the web item Text element in the web template, it displays the query details and the info provider details.
I question is I do not want to list all the list that is displayed in the text elements. I want to see only part of the list....can any one whether this is possible or not..if possible how...?

I am not too sure on what you want.
If you require that the text value be different based on some conditions you can declare as many text elements as conditions and call the relevant text element.
But I dont think that you can assign dynamic texts to a single text element.

We can add the fields with the help of screen exits (BAdis) provided that , SAP has giving the feature to add to this particular transaction. This is work of ABAPer and they will add the fields , and they will popullate the appropriate database table as well.
But pls tell me what exactly is your requirement so that we will let you know whether the option is available or not.

Hi, anyone knows how to separate two contacts with same name in Contacts? Actually they are two persons from two gmail contacts with same name but different contact numbers, different emails....etc, but Contacts assume they are same person and merge them as one!

In Lion, you have the File > Duplicate option. You will then have two copies of your document open, and the one on top will have the temporary filename "OriginalFileName copy", and your next responsibility is to File > Save (or Command-S) and rename the duplicate. At this point, you edit the copy's name, to perhaps ...copy 1, or whatever you wish. The document you had open when you initiated the File > Duplicate will still be there on your screen, waiting for you to Close it or continue editing.

Text Elements (locally in form)
To include data from the form interface (data from application tables) or system data (date, time) into the text, use system fields or user-defined fields in the text When processing the form, SAP Smart Forms replaces these fields with the corresponding values
Text Modules (for reusing texts)
You can use text modules to store texts that frequently appear in your forms which is stored centrally in the system. This detaches text maintenance from form maintenance, with the result that you do not need to call the Form Builder to edit individual texts.

How to LINK two or more Text Field

I have already asked once to get help with creating a link between two text fields (two fields created with a text tool) so that when text reached the end of one text field it will simply go into another. The given explanation was not specific enough. If you know how to do this and are willing to help, would you PLEASE give me SPECIFIC instructions, step-by-step on how this is done. It's almost laughable that I should give instructions since I know very little about JavaScript, but here goes . . .
Be sure to follow George's instruction precisely. Make three text fields, which I'll call Text1, Text2, and Text 3.
1) For the first text field, in the Options tab, remove Multi-line and remove Scroll long text. In the Format tab, in Custom Keystroke Script, click the Edit button, and enter the following:

How to call new window and text element without changing print program

I have requirement like this . i have a standard print prog and custom form. i want add 2 to 3 extra windows in the form and i have to print some data. but how can v do this with out changing the print program. i know that to pick new fields through subroutines. but how can v call new windows and new text elements with out changing the print program.
usually in the print program we write as follows.

I am able to open the rpt file in my report viewer but can not trace it using the JAVA code.
Actually, I need to find out all the text elements of rpt (Report) file and replace them with the contents of resource bundle.

Remove extra space value of the field in text element

Dear All,
Can any one please help me out to remove the blank spaces in the text elements of SF.
we are printing Label in which i want print quantity of material. and i am using MSEG-MENGE for quantity of maetrial.
But the issues is when we are printing the label. We are getting spaces in the Text elements fields &MSEG-MENGE&.
i am also check menge field within mseg table. in which menge field define as QUAN data type with length 13.

How to separate two mixed things in Disc report

Hi ,
does anybody know how to separate job numbers in Disc report . I did a sorting and gave totals by all other fields but a main job have three diff jobcodes where two of them has to be in one group and third one needs to be separated to see the total amount spend on that job . Can anybody pls help me on this .

Hi,
If you have this grouping in many reports then you should consider putting the grouping calculation in a folder in the EUL.
You can sort the report using this calculation and set the sort type to be "Hidden" so that the calculation does not show in the report.

Awk: how to separate a field?

Hello!
Instead of having one awk field for date and time I wanna seperate them in two. I think the easiest would be to replace in every row the eleventh character by a space or tab. Just don't know how to do it.

Your question is somewhat leading because if you're already using awk you may have to integrate the rule into an existing workflow.
That said, the simplest way to replace the 11th character with a space would be:
awk '{print substr($0,1,10)" "substr($0,12,$NF)}'
This takes $0 (the input string) and prints the first 10 characters followed by a space followed by characters 12 through the end.
Another approach would be to use field delimiters - useful if the date format varies (e.g. uses single digit months):
awk -F/ '{print $1"/"$2"/"$3" "$4}'
In this model the input string is broken into fields based on the character /
then it prints the first two fields followed by a / then the third field followed by a space, and finally the fourth field (or in this case, remaining text).
There are countless other methods, too including sprintf.

How to remove 'Empty Demarcation' in Text Elements.

Dear All,
To remove 'Empty demarcation' in the WAD output, I had modified the standard program - SAPLRSSV (for this i took access key from SAP).
The text element : 301 was changed to blank and it worked.
Recently we had a support package upgrade to SAPKW70018. With this upgrade my previous change to the program got reverted back and so i need to do the change again.
However, I'm not able to retrieve the list of Text elements for this program (SAPLRSSV). I open the program and when i go to Text element, following message is displayed :
"Untranslated texts from master language DE will also be displayed"
But no list (no text elements) is displayed.
My question : How do i retrieve this list and can i use the same acess key again or do i need to take another one from SAP.
