How to set button validation false

Hi,
Actually I am working on a seeded page.In that page there is one button next,and whenever i click that button some validation is happening i.e some warning
message is coming through VORow impl.I just want to remove that validationt through extended controller.Can u please give me some solution.PLs its urgent.

Hi Arun,
As far as the internal order goes, you can set up Budgets and activate 'availability control' which would trigger an 'eeror message' when it exceeds the budget amount. Path: SPRO-Controlling-Internal Order-Budger and Availability Control
The same facility is not available in Cost center budget.
You may have to write an exit or validations.

By Using XML.ignoreWhitespace = false; I am able to Store/Carry/Save L&T white spaces in XML and i can retrive values with whitespaces... It is in case of loading from Java<DB> to Flex. But the actual problem is with xmlObject.toString()/toXMLString() is not able to carry whitespace, while it should carry as parameter to Java Servlet..so that it can be get using request.getParameter() [..then it is serializing/deserializing] So, how i can preserve the L&T whiteSpaces on XML.toString()/toXMLString() method. ApplyDenied: Determines whether members of this attribute that exist with other explicitly denied members cannot be viewed.
It's said that this property is on members level for each dimension. When design a role, we can specify which members are available for this role. So you can set this property when designing a role. Open up role designer of Business Intelligence Development
Studio(BIDS), click on Dimension Data page, you will see Basic and Advanced tabs, in Basic tab, you can uncheck the members of the attribute to deny their access. Also write MDX definition for Denied member set box to do this.

How to set the Valid-to-date (datub) of a BOM item

Is there a way I can set the "Valid-to-date" of a BOM item?
According to SAP documentation...

"If you change a BOM using a change number, the system determines the valid-to date dynamically."
Unquote
I want to "expire" a BOM item. Meaning I want to set the valid-to-date to a date in the past.
Is this possible at all?

I do not see a field for the "Valid-to" date in the function module - CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2. There is one for the "Valid-From" date called DATUV. But I would like to change the "Valid-from" date of the BOM item.
Or is there another way to set the BOM item's valid-to date using this function module which I am missing?

You can do it as below
Approach1:
Enhance the view , use, post exit of WDDOMODIFYVIEW( ) and set the visible property of button as below
lo_btn->set_visible( cl_wd_button=>e_visible-none ).
Aproach2:
Enhance the view
Go to the button ( ui element tree ) and right click and chose the "Remove Element" as below
Note: you can undo the element deletion if required
Approach3:
use the personalization/customization either by using admin mode or application configuration.

I want to run my wlst on a continue when error happens basis . I saw the document saying there is variable called exitonerror , default value is true , but it didn't indicate the way to change it .
I try to add exitonerror='false' in the first line of my py script , but it seems dosn't work . Anyone have once tried before ?

If I am getting your problem right then your requirement is ...
1)     It should be visible if it call from your application
2)     It should not visible if it call from different application.
There is two different way to do this.
a)     you can have a flag.
b)     Change the flag true or false ( or value 01 or 02)id its call from different application
c)     Attached that context attributes with the visible property of the radio button.
2nd way
i)     You can have a flag to identify, where from it is calling
ii)     Now depending upon the flag dynamically you set the visible property of the radio button.
iii)     Write the code at WDDOMODIFYVIEW method
iv)     Here is some code for example

How to set myDoc.modified = false?

When a document is saved my beforeSave event handler changes the doc a bit then the afterSave undoes the change (long story described in another thread). Undoing the changes with afterSave puts the doc back to how it was before the save occured, but ID thinks that the doc is not changed and wants to save it again. With this strategy the doc is never in a "saved" state.
the Document.modified property is read only. Is there any way to forcibly change it to false? I was able to set myDoc.properties.modified to false without error, but either it was not changed or immediately overridden with 'true'.
Is there any way to do this?

Thank you for your reply, Marijan. In my case reverting to the saved copy won't work. I mark up the document in a way to preserve a state of the document for the save. When I open the doc later my script resets the state of the document which is what causes the modified flag to change to true. THerefore reverting the doc would result in modified = true.

But thus far I appear to be blocked from achieving my goal. It seems silly that such a powerful app such as ID is unable to facilitate such an obvious need.

How to set button disabled wile processing radio button request.

I have one panel gropu layout and inside that i am displaying radio buttons, select many check box and save button. Actually on change of radio button selection based on the value selected i am seltting some values selected in select many check box. the problem here is when we are changing selection for radio button and while it is in processing user can click on save button. so until the radio button change is complete we want to disable save button and once process is complete we want to enable save button.
Please help me on this.

How to set button disabled property based on backing bean method

I have a table and a button on the page. When user selects certain table row I want to enable/disable the button.
My backing bean (which has backing bean scope in the task flow where the page is) is

How to set buttons to be visible on initial load of slideshow?

I'm using ImageSlideShow. I'd like to set the previous, play and next buttons to be unconditionally visible on the intial load of the page. Currently one has
to hover over the appropriate region to see a button, and I'm trying to make it obvious that the controls are there. Can anyone help?

How to set button to open an .app file?

Hi i would like to know if it is possible to make a button in flash that when clicked on opens an external .app file, I am very new to flash but I am desperately seeking a way that would allow me to directly launch an app from the button. Ideally I am looking for a screen with two buttons, one would show a video and the other would launch an .app (processing export). It is really important I find a way to do this bcause it is for presentation.
I have searched all over the internet for a really long time I am beginning to think it is not possible.
Please is there any way at all? If flash can open pdfs and links or even send emails surely it can launch applications?
I am using a Mac and adobe flash cs6, desperately needing some help!

Under File>Publishing Options the default Publishing Option is generally
Flash.swf/HTML-Wrapper for the WEB
Under other Formats you will find at the bottom: Mac Projektor, if you choose that option, Flash will "bake" the Flash Player
into your app, meaning even people who haven`t installed Flash can view the file.
Disadvantage: your .app file is considerably bigger than the .swf would be and it can`t be viewed inside a browser. It must directly run on the users machine.

Account Mgmt - How to disable buttons ?

Hi,
While dealing with an account, how can we disable a particular button for a particular set of users.
e.g. if i log in as a Marketing Professional, i should see the EDIT button while on an account page, whereas if i login as a Sales Professional, i should not be able to EDIT the account.
Is this kind of role based access possible at the WEB UI ?

Hi Prish,
By using the below statment you can read the role which you logged in.
lv_brole = cl_crm_ui_profile=>if_crm_ui_profile~get_user_defined_profile( ).
Once you get the role you can disable your EDIT button by setting button-enabled = 'FALSE'.
