How to set display size of a Region or Dynamic Region?

Hi,experts,
In jdev 11.1.2.3,
I drag and drop a task-flow into a jsf page to create a Region,
and set display size for the region, source code as:
===================
<f:facet name="second">
<af:decorativeBox theme="medium" id="db1">
<f:facet name="center">
<af:panelGroupLayout layout="scroll" id="pgl1"
inlineStyle="width:1200px;height:700px;">
<af:region value="#{bindings.trainflow11.regionModel}" id="r1"
inlineStyle="width:1200px;height:700px;"/>
</af:panelGroupLayout>
</f:facet>
</af:decorativeBox>
</f:facet>
=================
But, the Region is only showed a small fraction area on the parent jsf page whenever during design or run time.
How to set display size of a Region or Dynamic Region?
Thanks!

Hi,
the decorative box is supposed to stretch components in the center facet, so at runtime the region should stretch. Can you try with a static region to see if this is an issue with dynamic regions?

  • How to set the size for Popup with contains a Region

    Hi,
    i use ADF 11g (JDEVADF_11.1.1.1.0_GENERIC_090615.0017.5407) with ADF Faces as Frontend.
    I have a Region (with many content) in a popup. When I call the popup the size of the popup is very small.
    If i set explicit the width and height in px it works, but if I set the width and height in % it doesn't works.
            <af:popup id="p1">
              <af:dialog id="pw2" type="ok"
                         partialTriggers="t1:showBook">
                <af:region value="#{bindings.bookkeydata1.regionModel}" id="r1"
                           inlineStyle="width:850.0px; height:600px;"/>
              </af:dialog>
            </af:popup> It is possible to get the max. height and witdth from the browser-window in a Bean and set it dynamicly to the region?
    To set the size in px is not the best solution I think.

    Hi,
    Try setting percentages using af:panelStretchLayout inside a popup.
    Thanks.

  • How to set custom size of Close Button e.g. 32x32  of Title Window in Flex 4

    How to set custom size of Close Button e.g. 32x32 of Title Window in Flex 4?

    Hi
    Here is the code of the Button in the skin class of spark title window.
    <s:Button id="closeButton" skinClass="spark.skins.spark.TitleWindowCloseButtonSkin"
                              width="15" height="15" right="7" top="7" />
    So first change the default height and width from 15 to 32. Then in the Button Skin class i.e. spark.skins.spark.TitleWindowCloseButtonSkin change paths to modify the cross symbol.
    Hope this helps

  • How to set the size of a JTabbedane to the size of the frame

    I have a tabbed pane in a frame, I would like to know how to set the size of the tabbed pane, so that it occupies the whole of the frame which has been set to screen size.
    Thanks

    Is it not possible to use it with a GridBagLayout?Your question was "How do I get a tabbed pane to take all the space of the frame"?
    You where given the answer. Did you try it? Did it work? Then why are you questioning the suggestion?
    Its one line of code if you use a BorderLayout which by the way was specifically designed for this purpose.
    Yes you can do it with a GridBagLayout with about 5 lines of code.
    So the question is why would you want to write 5 lines of code when you can use one?
    If your question was "How do I waste my time forcing the GridBagLayout to size a component to take up all the space of the frame", then you would have received a different answer. (Although most people would have told you to use a BorderLayout anyway, since its easier).

  • How to modify the blob size, or how to set the size?

    i want to know how to modify the blob size, or how to set the size?
    what's the default size of blob?
    Thanks in advance.

    Blob datatype can contain binary data with a maximum size of 4 GB.
    when you enter 10kb file, the database will only use 10kb to store the file (depending on block size etc)
    if you want to modify the blob size, you may do like this:
    SQL> create materialized view t_mv refresh fast on commit
    2 as select id, dbms_lob.getlength(x) len from t;
    Materialized view created.
    SQL> alter table t_mv add constraint t_mv_chk check (len < 100);
    Table altered.

  • How to set the size for height of iView tray?

    Hi,
    I have created a ABAP webdynpro component and integrated this comp with iView. Then i integrated iView into Page in portal. That is working fine.
    But the size of tray/window which is displayed in the page is very small.
    How to increase the height of that Tray/window/iView containing my component?

    Hi,
    By changing the maximum automatic height and Minimum automatic height property of the iview you can set the size for height of your iview.
    to do this follow the setps:
    goto content administrator -> portal content -> your folder where you created your iview or directly to your iview -> right click -> open -> object,
    and now in property category choose appearance-Size from the drop down menu and set the above properties to your required height.
    if you want the end user to modify this property set the property to read/write .

  • How to set the size of popups from KM Navigation Iview

    Hello guys
    Does any of you know how I can set the size of the window that pops up when you click on a resource/file in a KM navigation iview?
    I have tried to enter "width=100,height=100" (without the quotes) in the Window Features property of the KM Navigation Iview, but it does not influence the size of the popups.
    Any suggestions to what could be wrong? Or is it not possible at all to control the size of that popup?
    Kind regards,
    Martin

    Hi,
    I cheched yesterday if I could find the command, sorry I couldn't.
    I also realized that the layout generates html link tags (ie. <a />) for the resource links, no javascript open link functions (ie. window.open), wich doesn't alowed (as far as I know) to give size to the pop-up window.
    So to make the link of the resource (gived by the <b>displayname(contectlink)</b> property set) I think you would have to <i>create (develop)</i> the layout, so the link will be rendered with window_size.
    You have other option, you can take off the "<i>contentLink</i>" setting. and add the <b>download</b> command, so the user who want to open / save the document can click on this command and do it in their PC.
    I.E, Create a copy of the <b>download</b>, and add this to the Collection render displayed porpeties:
    rnd:command(command=Z_download/style=link)
    You ca also use and icon to represent the download (you can set that icon in the command)
    I.E, rnd:command(command=Z_download_icon/style=icon)
    This last options represents a problem with the km-only-read content like xml files generaded by xml forms, it can only be readed in the km-portal.
    I hope this might help you.
    Best regards,
    Jorge M.

  • Setting Display Size in X

    Connecting a laptop to a new 42" Panasonic monitor (TC-L42E60), I found
    the display to be blurry.
    xrandr shows this line:
    HDMI2 connected 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 698mm x 392mm
    Use the same hardware, on my co-worker's older 42" monitor, I see:
    HDMI2 connected 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 930mm x 520mm
    A physical size of 698mm x 392mm is closer to 32".  I assume there is a
    problem with the monitor's EDID (the monitor's firmware is up to date).
    Does anyone know how to manually set the physical size?  I fiddled
    around with 'xrandr --fbmm' but to no avail.

    Before making changes, I see these two lines in the output of xrandr:
    LVDS1 connected 1366x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 277mm x 156mm
    HDMI2 connected 1366x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 698mm x 392mm
    And this information from Xorg.log:
    $ grep monitor /var/log/Xorg.0.log
    [225833.747] (**) | |-->Monitor "<default monitor>"
    [225833.747] (==) No monitor specified for screen "Default Screen Section".
    Using a default monitor configuration.
    [225833.763] (II) intel(0): Output LVDS1 has no monitor section

    [225835.499] (II) intel(0): Monitor name: Panasonic-TV
    I then created this file:
    $ vim /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-monitor.conf
    Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "<default monitor>"
    DisplaySize 930 520 # In millimeters
    EndSection
    I now see this in Xorg.log:
    $ grep monitor /var/log/Xorg.0.log
    [226022.950] (**) | |-->Monitor "<default monitor>"
    [226022.951] (==) No monitor specified for screen "Default Screen Section".

    [226024.699] (II) intel(0): Monitor name: Panasonic-TV
    But in the output of xrandr, I see no change to the display size:
    LVDS1 connected 1366x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 277mm x 156mm
    HDMI2 connected 1366x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 698mm x 392mm
    I understand my laptop screen is LVDS1 but I was hoping to see have a
    display size of 930mm x 520mm.
    1) Does anyone know how to define HDMI2 in
    /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-monitor.conf ?
    2) Does anyone know how to override the DisplaySize?
    Maybe if I get '1' to work, '2' will follow, but I figured I'd ask.

    USER1        PARENT1_PK              PARENT1             COL2                  2
    USER1        PARENT1_PK              PARENT1             COL1                  1I have written this by hand. How to get display in sqlplus.exe ?

    This command sets column size for all forthcoming commands. Suppose there is select command for different columns, and i want to set different size for different columns. e.g.,select name,address,zone from table1;
    How can i set column size for name to (say) 20 char, address to 30 char and zone to 3 char ?
    You need to do it in some sort of sql script which would set the column formatting before the query would start and then would clear the formatting after the query gets finished. See an example below,
    SQL> column ename format a20 heading emp_name
    SQL> select ename from emp
      2  ;
    emp_name
    SMITH
    ALLEN
    WARD
    JONES
    MARTIN
    BLAKE
    CLARK
    SCOTT
    KING
    TURNER
    ADAMS
    emp_name
    JAMES
    FORD
    MILLER
    14 rows selected.
    SQL> column ename clear
    SQL> select ename from emp;
    ENAME
    SMITH
    ALLEN
    WARD
    JONES
    MARTIN
    BLAKE
    CLARK
    SCOTT
    KING
    TURNER
    ADAMS
    ENAME
    JAMES
    FORD
    MILLER
    14 rows selected.
    SQL>So likehtis you have to format all the columns on individual lines and then clear the fomattings of each once th query isdone.

  • How to set image size in a table view

    Hi,
    I've just built a small VC application showing some process chain logs in a table view. For the different status types Error, Warning and Success I show the well-known traffic light icons. But up to now I haven't found out how to set the image size in a table view (height & width field is greyed out for the table). Any ideas? Or is it just not possible?
    Thanks for your help,
    Heiko

    Hello Heiko,
    I don't know, if it is possible, but I would say,
    it's not implemented yet. Maybe you can change the picture size and use then the pictures, that might be a workaround, if you can't change the height and width in VC.

  • Need you help !!! -- How to set PACKAGE SIZE in CURSOR?

    Dear experts:
    Does anybody know how to set the package size if you use cursor in your abap program?
    My scenario is to select all the data from MARA table in which the data volumn is very big, and then process for some specific logic. When I try to select them into one internal table or use CURSOR without package, my abap program will abort after running for around 1 hour. So I was thinking if I can use cursor and set the PACKAGE SIZE like 10,000 and process the data by batch.
    Here is my sample code:
    OPEN CURSOR: CUR_MARA_TBL FOR
    SELECT * FROM MARA.
    DO.
    FETCH NEXT CURSOR CUR_MARA_TBL INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF WA_MARA_TBL.
    IF sy-subrc = 0.
    ......Detail logic......
    ENDIF.
    ENDDO.
    I would appreciate if anybody can let me know how to set the package size based on the sample code above, or any webpage/article about that.
    Any reply would be appreciated and thank you all in advance!

    The Spark List's layout property has the requestedRowCount and requestedMinRowCount properties.
    You can either set a new layout property on your List like this:
    <s:List>
            <s:layout>
                <s:VerticalLayout requestedMinRowCount="1" />
            </s:layout>
        </s:List>
    or reskin the List and modify the VerticalLayout in your copy of ListSkin.

  • How to set the size of SUM()/SUM() of NUMBER Tyep?

    I met the oracle truncation error when I post the
    SUM(a field)/SUM(b field), a and b field are NUMBER Type
    From the OCI Doc, Numbers with up to 38 digits precision.
    and I set the size of data buffer 41 for NUMBER TYPE.
    (for example)
    rc = OCIDefineByPos( hstmt, &m_pDefine, ((CEBOracle *)pDatabase)->m_hpErr, index,
                   (dvoid *) m_lpszBindData, m_nBufSize+1, SQLT_STR,
                   (dvoid *) m_cbIndicator, (ub2 *) 0, (ub2 *) 0, OCI_DEFAULT);
    I always set the output datatype as SQLT_STR
    and m_nBufSize is 41 for NUMBER Type
    my client met the error when the result is 0.00012345678912345678912345678912345678912
    I think that it's not a solution that just enlarge the number form 41 -> 45
    How can I avoid this problem when user send the SQL Statement that the result has unlimited decimal number?
    Thank you in advancd

    ORA-01406 fetched column value was truncated
    I found the reason of that problem.
    I migrated from OCI Ver7 to Ver8

    0.0000000000000000001
    When I debuged the output buffer
    The result was 1.0E-19

    how to change floating point and scientific expression automatically depend on the result like OCI Ver7 and SQL PLUS?
