How to set Focus for one component on Dialog

Hi all.
I have a problem and need a help
I have a JDialog
I add some components on it. Includes button, textfield...
after i set
_textField.requestFocus()When Dialog show, it always focus at first component, not at the component i set.
Please help me.

Perhaps Swings threading ruins your focus request, and trying invokeLater may be worthwhile...
Note that [requestFocusInwindow()|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/javax/swing/JComponent.html#requestFocusInWindow()] is to be preferred over requestFocus according to the API docs.

A panel is not focusable by default.
If you want a panel to get the focus you have to use panel.setFocusable(true) first.

I'm doing a simple DATA ENTRY program. My web apps contains the ff:
- 4- buttons (add, save, undo, del)
- table
To avoid mistakes on the data entry by a user. I make it a point to limit possible areas of risk. Like:
ie: when addButton is clicked.
- we set addButton.setDISABLED(true)
- also we set delButton.setDISABLED(true)
Problem: On the web browser, we get an error that saysn "Can't move to the focus control ... blah, blah blah"
How do I set the focus on other control?

I suppose this is a javascript error.
If you are using firefox, could you please add what the error is that you are seeing.
How are you trying to set the focus on the other button?
You could try adding javascript code to onclick functionality of the button you are disabling.
something like:
onclick = "<client id of the button to have focus>.focus()";

How to set password for BPEL domain

Hi,
I am new to SOA.
I want to setup client-server environment for few developers.
I installed SOA 10.1.3.3 in the server machine.
And I created few domains in BPEL, one for each developer.
It didn't ask me to set the password while creation of the domain.
Please let me know how to set password for newly created domain so that each developer login to his/her own domain and manage processes.

Multiple component instances for one component usage

Hi,all
How can I create multiple component instances for one component usage.
I'm using the following code for creating a single component instance for specific component usage:
if(c_Usage.hasActiveComponent())
c_Usage.deleteComponent();
if(wdContext.currentContextElement().getSelectedTab().equalsIgnoreCase("Registered"))
c_Usage.createComponent("health.gov.registered.Registered";);
I can't create one more component instance for
IWDComponentUsage c_Usage
cause I have to delete the component instance associated with this component usage.
Any idea how can I do it anyway?

Hi,
To create another instance of the same component you need to embed the same component under the Used Components more then once. For Example if you have Componet A to which you want to embed Component B then under "Used Components" of Component A add component B twice.

what you have to do is.. you mysql database server should be running
next you have to download one of the version of mysql driver.. i downloaded mysql-connector-java-5.0.5
go to my computer right click - >advance tab -> click on environment variable -> put you path e.g. C:\Program Files\Java\jarFiles\mysql-connector-java-5.0.5\mysql-connector-java-5.0.5-bin.jar
into your classpath in a user variable section..

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

You want to set custom views for Tasks folder so that when we click a view button, it will show all Completed or incomplete tasks, am I correct?
Which version of Outlook are you using? There are existing views for completed/incomplete tasks in Outlook. In Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013, we can find the buttons under View tab > Change View. Click Completed button to view all completed
tasks; Click Active button to view incomplete tasks.
In Outlook 2007, just click View > Current View to switch between different views.
If I've misunderstood something, please feel free to let me know.

I have small problem , i have a text box in form , which is get validated at server side in servlet , if it found some thing wrong then it throws exception , i want that when an exception is thrown it should set focus for that perticular text box. so what should i write to perform such a activity.

Get hold of the element ID in the servlet (and keep the code conventions) and print it out to some Javascript function which does a focus during the onload.
