use the following code
wdThis.wdGetAPI().requestFocus(nodeElement, attribute)
Ex:
Provide the attribute and replace the nodeElement with that of yours
IWDAttributeInfo attributeInfo = wdContext.getNodeInfo().getAttribute("Your attribute");
wdThis.wdGetAPI().requestFocus(wdContext.currentContextElement(), attributeInfo);

I'm working on a SCADA interface. In this application there are different tables with vertical scroll bar.
I prefer to make visible only the initialized rows (I've initialized 40 blank rows of a table with a string array). Since the window not contain all 40 rows but only 20 rows, I set the rows number of "table properties window" to 20; so I added a vertical scroll bar.
Now, when a user scroll the scroll-bar, he can view not only the 40 rows initializated, but an undefined number of rows.
There's a way to visualize only a limited number of rows?

I have a requirement in WDA table, when user click on Enter button from key board, cursor should move to the next row in table and without clicking on that columns user should type the message,
Right now user is able to type the message only after clicking on that cell.

How to set Focus on a Cell in a Table

I have a column for which i set the table editor in the following way :
DateTextField contractStarts = new DateTextField();
itemTable.getColumnModel().getColumn(9).setCellEditor(new DefaultCellEditor(contractStarts);
When the focus is brought to a cell in 9th column thru tab key I want the cursor displayed and invariably invoking the cell editor without clicking the cell.
If i don't click on the cell the cell editor (contractStarts) implementation does not seem to work or otherwise does very well. Since normally a user would manoeuvre using tab key.
Can this be done. I am searching for possible clues to this.

OK well I tried your example again and it does work in my Chrome and Firefox browser. IE10 still won't let me type into the fields.
I borrowed some of your code and changed your input to fit with mine.

view->request_focus_on_view_elem( lr_elem ).
endif.
I am getting "Cannot use NULL reference as object error at view".
Can you please tell me how to get the reference of the "view".

have you controlled that id of the Linktoaction ? there you made error.
See it in the ViewElement designer .
should be something like this
lr_elem = view->get_element( 'LTA_name ' ).

How to display more than 200 rows in the table?

Hi Experts,
Is that possible to display more than 200 rows in a Table.
when i query from table, it has 1000 rows, i want to display all the 1000 rows in the Table.
when i query, the values are displaying up to 201 rows only,
when i click next on 200 - 201 it throws Exception says
*"Query has exceeded 200 rows. Potentially more rows exist, please restrict your query."*
let me know how to display all the 1000 rows in a table without Exception.
Any idea will be highly appreciated.

The number of rows retrieved is controlled by profile option "FND: View Object Max Fetch Size". I believe 200 is the default value. Pl see these MOS Docs

Hi Nitin,
It seems that you have two or three different structures to pass data using your webservice. In your main question, two tables, you can join both in one table and from there call the webservice. In order to pass the entire table you need:
1. Draw a line between your joinned table and your service,
2. Map the fields,
3. Create a 'SUBMIT' in your table tool bar. Right click on your table and choose 'Create Toobar', '+', name and choose 'Submit' as your event.
4. Go to Configure Element (Table View) 'Multiple' at Selection Mode.

Can I use action build to fade one table row as I move to the next row in the table?

I have built a table with 6 rows. Right now,I am building the table row by row when I play the slide. Is there a way to fade or dissolve one row when I move to the next row in the table? I want to be able to de-emphasize the row I just discussed when I move to the next row in the table. I can fade the entire table by invoking that action but I do not seem to be able to use this action one row at a time. Thanks for your comments and assistance.

you will have to use a workaround to get the exact effect you described
create a table with out any text
use text tool to add text and position in each table cell
select the text boxes( command click) in the first row and group them (arrange > group)
use a, build in, to display text and then a, build out, to remove it
repeat the above for the other rows

do you generally want to record changes to a specific table? then set parameter rec/client using RZ10 for your instance profiles and restart the instances in order for the parameter to take effect.
set the table to 'record all changes' using SE11.
you might re-consider if the table has a lot of data and is accessed very often for performance-resons.
change protocols can be evaluated using tx, SCU3.
