How to set PFI pins as input/output

Hi...
I want to set PFIs as input/out but I don't know how to deal with it. I try to find the function but nothing can set in PFIs.
I want to trigger with PFI 1.

You are correct. The example posted above in
Traditional DAQ is used to input a trigger signal to the card. The PFI
pins allow you to route signals into and out of your card, they are not capable
of directly generating signals. To generate a square wave you would use
either a counter or digital line. A counter would allow you to generate a
square wave with a specific frequency and duty cycle, and a digital line would
allow you to do something similar depending on the card you have. For
example with an E Series device you write a single value to a digital port at a
time, and therefore it is software timed. The frequency you can update
the digital port/line will completely depend on your software and the speed of
your system.
For more information on PFI lines please see a PFI
Knowledge Base found here. If you are just starting out, or if you are
using an M Series Board I would recommend (if your hardware supports it) using
the DAQmx driver. It is easier to create applications, and it allows you
to use the Data Acquisition Assistant Express VI if you are using LabVIEW. There are examples that demonstrate how to generate square waves online and in NI Example Finder. If you are using LabVIEW you can find examples by selecting Help >> Find Examples. In the window that appears select Hardware Input and Output >> NI-DAQmx >> Generating Digital Pulses.

How to set focus on invisible input field?

Hi Guys,
I need an invisible input field and have to set an input focus on it. My problem is that if I set input fields property visible=blank, I get my invisible field <b>BUT</b> the function call doesnt work (setInput.requestFocus()).
I suppose that I cant set a focus if an input field is invisible.
Does somebody know how can I solve my problem? Is there a possibility to do this input field invisible with java script? If yes, how does it work in Web Dynpro?

Hi
Setting a focus on invisible input field will not work even if you follow the method what sowjanya has suggested. The method wdThis.wdGetAPI().requestFocus() will not work for read-only and disabled fields.
By the way why do you want to set the focus on a invisible input field. If you can tell us the requirement maybe we could think of an alternate solution. But i guess for the current scenario setting focus on invisible input field does not work.

How to automatically retrieve a task Input/Output structure in SAPUI5?

I am trying to figure out a way to automatically retrieve the complex type specified as a task input/output without hard coding the name of the complex type. So far I have a process with two reporting activities and a task, built as a custom technologies with specified Input and Output from the process context. Then I built a UI where I created an OData model, whose properties I bound to properties of the model, but this happened by exactly specifying the name of the complex type in the controller:

Is it possible for this binding to happen automatically in some kind of way without me specifying every single attribute name? As you can imagine in a real project, there will be even more complex types used in the UI and it is not feasible at all to have to specify each and every single attribute's name.

take one variable push into the field
write w_variable1 to w_variable2 centered.
next push the varaible to Destination screen input/output Field .
Make sure the Field the Character Type.

There are two ways to set the focus of an inputfield.
1) In the BSP page add the attribute focus to an inputfield and set it to true.
Ex: <thtmlb:inputField id = "test"
focus = "TRUE"/>
2) Using the P-getter in the case where the inputfield is created using the config tool.
Ex: CASE iv_property.
WHEN if_bsp_wd_model_setter_getter=>fp_focus.
rv_value = abap_true.

How to set a selected checkbox in output internal table of oops ALV grid

Hi All,
i have a checkbox as first column in my ALV grid output using oops alv, when i select some checkbox, that rows have to be selected and i need to process only selected rows in user command.
i have given the below code also in fieldcatolg.

f_fldcat-edit = 'X'.
but the checkbox is not getting set in internal table when i select some checkboxes.

Hi Mate,
Just set the value to the webdynpro context fields on view init.
if its like that will override the values entered by use on the form.
just check if the default value is equall to the field value if yes leave it, if not dont touch that field.
does this make sense...?

How to set focus on a input field in a selected row of a table?

In a previous discussion (http://scn.sap.com/thread/3564789) I asked how to access an input (sap.m.Input) field of a selected row in a table. In the answer that was supplied I was shown how to get the items of the table. Then using the selected index to get the selected item get the cells. Then I could set editable on the proper cell(s). This worked fine.
Now I need to set the focus on one of the fields. I tried something like this:
            var oNewLink = table.getSelectedItem();
            var oNewLinkName = oNewLink.getCells()[1];
            oNewLinkName.focus();
But this doesn't seem to work.
I have searched through other discussions and have seen this technique for putting focus on a field if you have its ID:
sap.ui.getCore().byId(id_of_the_input_field).$().focus();
In my case though I do not have an ID since the row and its cells are generated. How can I set focus on the cell of a certain row in a table?

Hello Venkatesh. Yes that code does work. First I tried it on a table cell that was already rendered and it did work. The next time I tried it on a table row that was being added and it did not work there. So I added an on after rendering function for the table and added that code there. That did not work until I added a delay (timeout) to do a context switch before calling the focus and that worked.
Once last thing though sometimes when I call focus on an input field (actually in a table row cell) if the field has text in it already the flashing cursor is at the beginning of the text and other times it is at the end of the text (which is the desired way). It depends on where I click in the row. Is there anyway to make sure the flashing cursor is at the end of the text when the focus is applied to a field that contains text?

How to set value to a input list of values?

I'm using Jdev 11.1.2.0
I'm using model driven input list of values in page.
In inputtext of that list of values, When I entering the exact value(if only one value exists with that value) say for example 100, then that value is getting set to inputlistvalues without opening the popup.
But if i enter 10 and then click on enter then popup launches with values like 10,100,101,1001... (starts with 10).
Is there any possibility that we can do like, if i enter exact value which is exists in the list of values, then that value should be set without launching the popup to show more values?
How to achieve this.

How to call JAVA program having input & output parameter

Hi Experts,
Require ur help in calling a java program in ODI which has input parameter & I need to also get the output of the java program.
I have a java program which I execute through command prompt with input parameters required for the program.
Also I need to get the output of the same java program & need to pass it as input to another Java program.
kindly help...how to implement the java program in ODI as I have not worked on Java.

How to set inputZ for control inputs ie: strobe, pfix?

RE: PXI-6551 Need to configure input control for inputZ (50/10k).
ex: My app. requires strobe input and pfi 2 (input) to have 50 ohm input impedances.
Default is 10k. Property node for input impedance doesn't like "STROBE or PFI 2" etc.

Hello there,
Although a bit harder to find, there is actually a 2 other properties that you need to use to set the strobe and PFI line input impedance.
For the strobe line, you need to specify you sample clock source to be the stobe line and use the Timing » Sample Clock » Impedance property to 50. See here.
For the PFI line, you need to specify what you are using it for. If you are using it as the source for your digital edge start trigger, you would use the Start » Digital Edge » Impedance property. See here.

Cl_salv_table - How to set grid ready for input

Hi,
I am using the class "cl_salv_table" on a 6.40 system to display an ALV grid. How can I set the grid cells are ready for input/editing?
( Something similar to slis_layout_alv-edit parameter
use in the REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY function )
I have looked at the demo programs SALV_TEST_TABLE* and
SALV_DEMO_TABLE*. Unless I am blind I cannot find a way.
Any suggestions?

I do not call the SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY,
as far as I can tell SALV does not require this.
Here is in short what my program looks like:
data: lr_salvgrid type ref to cl_salv_table,
      lr_columns type ref to cl_salv_columns_table,
      lr_column type ref to cl_salv_column,
      gt_matdoc type mb_mkpf.
I call method cl_salv_table=>factory to get a reference to my itab:
        call method cl_salv_table=>factory
          exporting
            list_display = if_salv_c_bool_sap=>false
          importing
            r_salv_table = lr_salvgrid
          changing
            t_table      = gt_matdoc.
Then for fieldcatalogue:
i.e. hide columns etc
lr_columns = lr_salvgrid->get_columns( ).
lr_columns->set_optimize( abap_true ).
lr_column = lr_columns->get_column( 'MANDT' ).
lr_column->set_visible( abap_false ).
Then to display:
lr_salvgrid->display( ).
I would have thought that the edit parameter would be somewhere in the fieldcat ( in class CL_SALV_COLUMN )
but I cannot find it there. Everything else like text/edit mask/currency/visible etc is here but not edit.
