How to set the Correlation ID in Oracle Q from JMS Adapter
Hi,
I'm using a JMS Adapter on my BPEL process to push messages to an Oracle instance in another machine.
While testing, I could see that a message is posted on the Q table, but the Correlation ID is null.
How is the correlation ID on the Q set from the adapter? IDeally I want this ID dynamic to be unique.
Is this something st on the Invoke activity to the jms adapter, i.e., the Correlations tab, or is that
unrelated altogether.

Found the solution.
On the Invoke activity, I set the property jca.jms.JMSCorrelationID to a variable I created.
I set my variable to string appended with sysdate to make it unique.

How to set the language of a mail template from NotificationUtil?
Hi experts!
I've been having some issues with the Message Template Language when using the NotificationUtil to send an Email.
How do I set the language of the template?
Do i set this by the sender? Or do I need to reference the recipient?
If so, how could I get the Account Object Interface from the user given that I got him as a collaborator?
I wish you could help me out whit this language problem.

Dependencies
You can specify that prices and conditions in purchasing info records
are only allowed at plant level in the Purchasing IMG, under Conditions

How to set the AS2 fileName for outbound Functional Ack 997 auto generated by Oracle B2B.
External Trading Partner is sending the EDI 856 via AS2 URL to our Oracle B2B Server.
In the inbound 856 agreement, we have checked the option of Funtional Ack and also Functiona Ack handled by B2B is yes.
We have the outbound agreement which is sending that Functional ack 997 (auto generated by oracle b2b) and we have specified the Outbound AS2 channel of the Partner.
997 doc is being sent to external partner using AS2 channel, but the filename is generating as '40101'.
Please can you let me know how to set the AS2 fileName for outbound Functional Ack 997 auto generated by Oracle B2B.

AFAIK, there is no option to set the file name when the 997 is generated automatically by B2B.
Alternatively, if this is a must requirement, you can generate the FA from backend and send to B2B with MSG_TYPE =9. In this case, you can set the header with filename (How to set the actionname property in B2B 11g) -

How to set the debug port for Eclipse for OracleAS 10g Enterprise

I am using OracleAS 10g Enterprise, and using dcmctl to startup the server.
But i do not know how to set the debug port in the startup script for debugging with Eclipse.
I have tried to add the following options to the dcmctl.bat, but still failed:
-Xdebug -Xnoagent -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=y,address=4000
i.e in the dcmctl.bat script:
set jvmargs=-Xdebug -Xnoagent -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=y,address=4000

Thank you for your great help!.Hi, have you double checked that your oc4j is started with Sun's JVM or any other JVM that recognizes the kind of remote debug option as above? You can find the JVM used by oc4j in the ORACL_HOME/opmn/conf/opmn.xml.
To double check that your oc4j is started in debug mode, you can test with another remote debugger. Say, with the jdb in sun's jdk jdb -connect com.sun.jdi.SocketAttach:hostname=yourHost,port=4000 (Personally, I also use Jdeveloper or Jswat to double check.) If you can connect with jdb, then you have to check your Eclipse. Can its remote debugger connect to any java application at all? -

How to set the header variables in weblogic
Hi,
We have a following set up in our environment.
We have weblogic and on the top of it we have apex listener deployed which redirects Oracle Apex.
My Issue:
How can we set up the header variables in weblogic once the user is authenticated against weblogic server.
We are struck here, not knowing how to set the header variables in weblogic server. Its fairly straight forward for Oracle Access Manager or others..

I was create a procedure to insert XML Document in to DBMS Tables, but i am not able to set the Start root element in calling procedure.
My calling procedure is

In my case the Glassfish 3.1.2.2 JDBC connection pool definition was

Uncheck the Wrap JDBC Objects option in Advanced panel, i.e. the Edit JDBC Connection Pool Advanced properties page.
Add a JDBC resource for that newly created pool

How to setup the SMTP server in Oracle Apps? Is it mandatory to keep the SMTP server on the same host where the Oracle data base is installed? Also can someone help how we can set up the SMTP server on different host (not the Database server) and we can use the same for Workflow notification mailer.

No, it is not mandatory. Also please note that the mails are sent out from concurrent manager mode. Not from the database node.

It depends on the operating system you are using. If you are using *nix then sendmail needs to be configured.
