How to share a image

hello every one,
i have a little problem with my app,  I want to let the user a share option and i want to share a  image via my app (share on message, Email, facebook..)
and for doing this i used this code, but it doesn't share the image.
private async void ShareTextHandler(DataTransferManager sender, DataRequestedEventArgs e)
DataRequest request = e.Request;
request.Data.Properties.Title = "some title";
 request.Data.SetText ("some text");
request.Data.SetBitmap(RandomAccessStreamReference.CreateFromUri(_myBitmapImage.UriSource));
thanks,
Or Yaacov

See
Sharing content for an overview and code for several data types.
You don't say how exactly this doesn't work so it isn't clear what is wrong. That said, many apps don't accept bitmaps directly but do accept bitmap files. You'll want to share both data types. See

  • How finder shares multiple images at once and how can I use this in my app?

    You can share multiple images (or other documents) at once in finder. It's probably possible to make an app in Xcode that does exactly the same thing as well, but I don't know how. I really want to because I'm a bit curios. I would love if there are some code examples on the web so I can check it out. Can you help me?

  • Adobe Creative Cloud - How To Share Files With Clients and Colleagues | Creative Suite Podcast: Designers | Adobe TV

    In this episode of the Adobe Creative Suite Podcast, Terry White shows how to share Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Files with clients and colleagues and all they'll need is a browser to comment and see your Photoshop Layers.
    http://adobe.ly/10ZjpE4

    Terry,
    I guess I miss something. How can I share a folder of photos? When I return from a shoot, I select 20 of the pictures and need to share them with my client to pick up the favorites. Am I supposed to copy and past an URL for each image separately?
    Sometimes I also work with a colleague, I need to share my favorites with him. Same issue.
    We have tried Adobe Cloud, and then went for Dropbox. There we can share a folder and he can put even his pictures in it as well. That's what I call collaboration. And it is free (unlike Adobe Cloud). If you have some word in Adobe, please tell them to either drop it and make a deal with services like Dropbox, or make it properly.
    Thanks.

  • How to share audio with other members of a meeting?

    Hi,
    I want to share a video with my class but my student cannot hear the video since they only receive audio from my mic. I was wondering if there is a way I can share what I am hearing. If someone can provide me with instruction on how to do this I will highly appreciate it. I'm using adobe connect.
    Thank you,
    Jonathan R.

    Are you trying to share a video in the Share pod or via Screen sharing?
    Screen sharing only shares the image of your screen (or application), not the audio. Additionally most videos run at 24-30 FPS (frames per second), while screen sharing runs at 3-5 FPS. So a large amount of the visual information being displayed by your video is lost. If this is what you are doing, I'd recommend that you get an FLV or MP4 version of the video you are sharing and upload that directly to the Share pod. The playback will be sync'd among all attendees and the audio will come through their computer speakers.

  • Export gives "Unable to create" error,Can't EXPORT or SHARE modified images

    I am running iPhoto 8.1.2 and I cannot export or share any images I modify.
    Upon editing images (cropping or enhancing color profile), I am unable to drag and drop images to my desktop (gives a "∅" symbol) which I used to do all the time. I cannot export them - iPhoto gives an error: "Unable to create" filename error...
    If I look at the "Show file" and verify the contents of the folder, none of the images I have modified appear there. If I look at "Show original file" all the original files are there but do not have my edits/cropping, etc. Where are my modified images going and how can I get to them? iPhoto seems like it is getting Alzheimer's or something...
    I have tried closing and re-opened iPhoto and all the images thumbnails appear to be ok with my updated crops/enhancements. Double-clicking and opening them opens files with the correct edit/enhancements. Everything seems ok until I try to export or share any of the modified photos.
    I tried rebuilding iPhoto and selecting the first 4 options but after the rebuild the problem still persists...
    None of the files that I cropped/enhanced appear in the "Modified" folder for that date. There are some files there, but they appear to be files that I deleted!
    So, where are my cropped/enhanced photos going??? iPhoto shows them ok in the Events, etc. but they are not in the "Modified" folder and I cannot export, drag/drop, email or share them...
    This has been happening to me for awhile now and it is very frustrating. iPhoto is ok so long as I don't do any cropping or enhancing. If I do that, then it gets all screwed up...
    I know that I can use something like "iPhoto Library Manager" to rebuild stuff but I don't want to lose any of my data. I have done extensive work with faces, places, attributes, names, etc...
    I JUST WANT iPHOTO TO WORK LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO AND LIKE IT USED TO!
    Thanks,
    Steve

    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair Library permissions.
    If the permissions have been mucked up somehow, it's likely that your edits have not been saved.
    If the fails:
    Option 1
    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

  • Share gif image without conversion

    Hello,
    I have an application (universal app) that generates gif images. And I want user to share gif image.
    The problem is when I try to share by using next code:
    DataTransferManager.GetForCurrentView().DataRequested += (DataTransferManager mgr, DataRequestedEventArgs ar) =>
    //dataPackage.SetHtmlFormat(HtmlFormatHelper.CreateHtmlFormat(
    ar.Request.Data.Properties.Title = (string)DefaultViewModel["title"];
    ar.Request.Data.Properties.Description = (string)DefaultViewModel["description"];
    ar.Request.Data.Properties.FileTypes.Add(".gif");
    List<IStorageItem> l = new List<IStorageItem>();
    l.Add(file);
    ar.Request.Data.SetStorageItems(l, true);
    DataTransferManager.ShowShareUI();
    The gif image is converted to jpg.
    Is there any way to avoid conversion?
    Thank you
    no where man

  • Aperture how to share photo on Facebook with a watermark on it?

    how can i use an export preset to the photo that i want to share on facebook ?

    how can i use an export preset to the photo that i want to share on facebook ?
    Not directly.
    Export the image to a folder outside Aperture, e.g, your Pictures folder, using the export preset with the watermark.  Then use Facebooks web interface to upload the image file, or import the watermarked image back to Aperture and use Aperture to share the image to Facebook.

  • HT5022 How to share my photos from time capsule external drive over the internet.

    I saw some article that, i can share my photos from time capsule drive over the internet. Also, heard it can be done through manual configuration of time capsule. Firstly, i do not see such option in my time capsule configuration. I did a factory reset assuming, i might have configured through auto mode for the first time (that could be the reason why i don't see manual option). Now, i don't know, how can i share my images over the internet frome time capsule drive, without using my mac book system up and running all the time.. I wanted to create a secured user id/password to let the other users to access my network share drive. Is that possible?

  • Auto-Mounting Network Shares/Disk Images

    Hi,
    I'd like to share how I solved my problem with auto-mounting a network disk image/folder share to be used as a custom library/location for Aperture 3.xx. I can now either reference the master photos from the network or have it copy to this disk image volume on the network, although it might be better to have it copy to the disk image volume, so one can move it around as a file later. I researched hard over these forums and internet resources and discovered what I thought was the best way to accomplish this. Initially, I found right away that Aperture doesn't allow you to create a library over your network drive or a home server such as mine, unless it is partitioned/formatted to Mac OS. This wasn't acceptable for me as I also run Windows 7 PCs that need to utilize the network folder shares, as well.
    I don't understand why I don't have this problem using iPhoto 2011, and do with Aperture 3.0, which is a far more expensive application. Anyhow, I read a little about NFS, but didn't know how to implement this or if it required the Mac Server and/or a non-built in application, it probably isn't compatible with windows. So, I found that by creating a .DMG disk image file, as a partitioned/formatted Mac OS file in Disk Utility, and saving it to the network folder of my choosing, did the trick.
    Steps I used to accomplish this:
    -Go to Disk Utility and create "New Image"
    -Select format w/ MacOSX Extended(journaled) and choose "single partition/GUID" type (or whatever you want)
    -Enter a custom size of your disk image (ex in 1GB or 1TB). Click "Create"
    * I created this locally 1st and then I copied it over the network, to the network folder/subfolder on my HP Mediasmart Home Server EX495. I found that creating it over the network took too long and would crash Disk Utility.
    -After it's copied to your desired location over the network folder, open Automator.
    -choose "Application" workflow, double-click to add "Get Specified servers". Enter location of your server (ex smb://hpserver/)
    -Then add "Connect to Servers",
    -Then add "Get specified Finder Items". Click Add, and locate your disk image file over the network. (this will automatically add the location path. For ex. smb:/hpserver/photos/aperture_library.dmg)
    -Then add "Mount Disk Image".
    -Then test workflow by clicking on "Run" button on top right of window. If your
    Finder->Preferences->General settings on your Mac is set to show "Connected Servers" on your desktop, your disk image will appear on you desktop.
    -Finally, save this Application workflow as an application by clicking File menu->Save As. Save this to your documents folder area.
    -To have your Mac auto-mount your disk image automatically when you login:
    ->go to System Preferences->Accounts->your "Admin account name"->Login Items
    ->click "+" sign and navigate to the Documents folder, to where the Automator application you saved
    ->click Add. Once done, it will appear on the Login Items area. You can choose to hide it, if you want by clicking the checkbox.
    -Now Restart your Mac, and now your disk image should auto-mount.
    Hope this helps, as it helped me solve the issue. Too bad one must have to program this and it is not native on MacOSX.

    Too many steps. Do this:
    1. Go to Disk Utility and create a disk image with the following properties:
    Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    Partitions: Hard Disk
    Image Format: Sparse bundle disk image
    2. Copy the image you just created to the share on the network where it should reside.
    3. Open System Preferences, and click on the Accounts icon
    4. Select *your account* and click on the Login Items tab
    5. Drag the icon for the disk image from the network share into the Login Items list
    If a login item is something on a network share, it will reconnect to the share it's located on automatically first.
    If a login item is a disk image, the disk image will be opened and mounted.
    It's important that the image is a journaled one because if it isn't, being disconnected from it while writing would be potentially disastrous.
    It's important that the image is a sparsebundle for two reasons: sparsebundles only take up as much space as they need (e.g., a 1Tb sparsebundle with 100M of data takes up about 100M of space), and they also break the disk down into smaller files. If the underlying filesystem on your network share is FAT32, then no file can go over 4Gb. If you use a sparsebundle, of course, there's no practical limit to how large the disk image can get. Also, it can speed up certain types of backup procedures.
    I suggest using partition type "Hard Disk" instead of "1 partition GUID" because, as a disk image, there's no sense in having a partition table or making it bootable (because you can't boot from the image).

  • HT1203 iTunes: How to share music between different accounts on a single computer - I tried to use the instructions to configure 2 different windows users sharing the same iTunes library.  I could not get this to work per the instructions.

    I tried to configure 2 windows users accounts using a single library per the instructions in HT1203.  My iTunes library is on an external drive.  I cannot get this to work.  Any suggestions?

    To give other users read-only access to your iTunes library, use the Sharing features of iTunes. Sharing works over the local network as well as on the same computer. See the built-in help for details.
    If you want to give full read/write access to more than one user, see the support article linked below.
    iTunes: How to share music between different accounts on a single computer
    There is a way to share the library without moving it to a secondary volume. If you really need to do that, ask for instructions.
