  • How to show check box in ALV grid??

    Hi All,
         I am using an option edit in the feild catalogue which allows me to change the values in a few columns in the ALV list.
    What I want is to be able to show a check box in a few columns which user can check and use the value X in the program for the later processing....
    Can somebody tell me how to show a check box in the ALV screen in the changeable format??
    Win full point by answering this typical question..
    Thanks - Chandan

  • How to show data in table on the basis of click on a row of another table

    Hi All,
    I want to show two tables. In first table the main objects show in turn there is another collection in that main object for which i want to show data in separate table.
    e.g.,
    ObjectA
      have the collection of ObjectBs
    when i select ObjectA in main table then all the collection Objects of ObjectBs shows in separate table. Plz help me how to handle this case ??

    hi,
    You can create two value nodes for storing these collections. The first one would be singleton node as it is the main list. Under that create the second node with singleton = false.
    e.g.
    ---NodeA
        --attrA1
        --attrA2
        --NodeB(singleton = false)
                --attrB1
                --attrB2
    Now populate collection of object A in NodeA and after adding element in NodeA populate respective elements in NodeB.
    IPrivate<View>View.INodeANode nodeA = wdContext.NodeAnode();
    for (Iterator  it = collectionA.iterator(); it.hasNext(); )
         ObjectA objA= it.next();
         IPrivate<View>View.INodeAElement nodeAElem= nodeA.createNodeAElement();
         wdCopyservice.copy Corresponding(objA,nodeAElem);
         nodeA.addElement(nodeAElem);
         Collection collectioB =objA.getCollectionB();
         for (Iterator  it1 = collectionB.iterator(); it1.hasNext(); )
             ObjectB objB= it1.next();
            IPrivate<View>View.INodeBNode nodeB = nodeAElem.nodeBnode();
            IPrivate<View>View.INodeAElement nodeBElem= nodeB.createNodeBElement();
            wdCopyservice.copy Corresponding(objB,nodeBElem);
            nodeB.addElement(nodeBElem);
    Bind NodeA to the first table and NodeB to second one.
    After that when you select record in first table automatically its corresponding records will be populated in second table.
    Hope this helps!

  • How to show Date and Time with TimeZone

    Dear All,
    I have to show Date and Time with TimeZone abbreviation,
    for example:
    1) 31 March 2011 2:30 in india standard time - it should show in screen 31 March 2011 2:30 IST.
    2) 31 March 2011 2:30 in Australia/New Zealand - Eastern time zone it should show in screen 31 March 2011 2:30 AEST.
    how can i show *Australia/New Zealand - Eastern time zone to AEST*,
    I tried with format DD MMM YYYY HH:MM zzz, and i looked time zone API too.
    Appreciate your help
    Thanks
    Daya

    Dayananda wrote:
    ok, than i have to use zzzz format, as z won't help in my case, so i have to use zzzz which display descriptive value like, Indian Standard Time i.e. ISTPer the javadocs there is a very specific reason why that is a problem especially if you intend to support many timezones in one application.
    "+For compatibility with JDK 1.1.x, some other three-letter time zone IDs (such as "PST", "CTT", "AST") are also supported. However, their use is deprecated because the same abbreviation is often used for multiple time zones (for example, "CST" could be U.S. "Central Standard Time" and "China Standard Time"), and the Java platform can then only recognize one of them+."
    Thus you have one single case where there can be many and moreover it can change (twice a year I believe.)
    There is a standard source for this information although when I tried it it appears to not work.
    If the app only needs to display one zone then provide a configuration value that allows a user to overload the display value.
    If the app needs to display many values then you MUST inform business users of the problem because there are duplicates and they, not you, need to decide specifically what happens in those cases.

  • How to display date field in ALV in format 'YYYY-MM-DD'?

    Hi experts,
    I am not getting displayed the date field in ALV in the format 'YYYY-MM-DD' if it is different than my user setting's format (DD.MM.YYYY).
    Tried with the edit mask
    LVC_S_FCAT-EDIT_MASK = '____-__-__'  but it does not work.
    I could not find the conversion routine for this. Is it possible to write customer conversion routine?
    I have to use DATE field, otherwise if I display this format in CHAR10 field , sorting in ALV does not work for this field.

  • How to show date with format conforming to system date format ?

    Hi all,
    I write Java program running on Windows 2000 Advanced Server.
    I want to show date in a status bar with the format the same as that in system date format where the program resides, so when I change the date format through the regional setting, I expect that the date format in the status bar will adjust accordingly.
    But it seems that program fails to do so, the program keeps showing short date format MM/dd/yy. I've tried to use SimpleDateFormat.getDateInstance() method, but the result is the same.
    Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

    hi,
    You can create two value nodes for storing these collections. The first one would be singleton node as it is the main list. Under that create the second node with singleton = false.
    e.g.
    ---NodeA
        --attrA1
        --attrA2
        --NodeB(singleton = false)
                --attrB1
                --attrB2
    Now populate collection of object A in NodeA and after adding element in NodeA populate respective elements in NodeB.
    IPrivate<View>View.INodeANode nodeA = wdContext.NodeAnode();
    for (Iterator  it = collectionA.iterator(); it.hasNext(); )
         ObjectA objA= it.next();
         IPrivate<View>View.INodeAElement nodeAElem= nodeA.createNodeAElement();
         wdCopyservice.copy Corresponding(objA,nodeAElem);
         nodeA.addElement(nodeAElem);
         Collection collectioB =objA.getCollectionB();
         for (Iterator  it1 = collectionB.iterator(); it1.hasNext(); )
             ObjectB objB= it1.next();
            IPrivate<View>View.INodeBNode nodeB = nodeAElem.nodeBnode();
            IPrivate<View>View.INodeAElement nodeBElem= nodeB.createNodeBElement();
            wdCopyservice.copy Corresponding(objB,nodeBElem);
            nodeB.addElement(nodeBElem);
    Bind NodeA to the first table and NodeB to second one.
    After that when you select record in first table automatically its corresponding records will be populated in second table.
    Hope this helps!

  • How to Transfer Data from editable ALV grid control to internal table?

    Hi,
    Can anyone give me a simple example by which I can transfer data from editable alv grid control back to the internal table. The ALV has been created by OO approach.
    I would appreciate if the solution is provided without handling any events.
    Regards,
    Auro

    Hello Auro
    You simply need to call method <b>go_grid->check_changed_data</b> at PAI of the dynpro displaying the ALV grid. If data have been changed on the editable ALV grid then this method will raise event DATA_CHANGED. If you do not want or need to handle this event (e.g. for validating the edited values) then you do not define any event handler method.

  • How to show data output in SSRS

    Below is my simply query.  I need to use Matrix SSRS format. I will put "Region" in "row" column, Header will use "Customer_Requested_Date" field, and will use "Amount" in the data session.
    The data output in the "Header" field will show January.....until December (current month is December).  In the Amount field under "December" (current month), I need to compute the formula like "Customer_Request_Month"
    < =  Current Month".  (I do not have the field name called Current Month, need to get a Date/Time function to display Current Month).
    How I can come up the data output under December Header field to show the current Amount in that section?
    November, 2014
    December,2014

    Amount
    CRD Month < = Current Month

    Customer_request_Month,
    Transaction_Type,
    Region,
    Amount
     From Table
    Thanks,
    Josephine
    Josey Tang

    Hi Josey,
    According to your descritption, you want to show the current month in your tablix. Right?
    In Reporting Services, we can use the Now() and datepart() function to get the current month. Please use the expression below:
    =Datepart("m",Now())
    In this scenario, since you want to show the amount of current month within the column group, you need to create another dataset which always show the data of current month. Then you can use lookup() function to get the amount value from the current dataset
    based on the Region. Please follow the steps below:
    Create a same dataset(DataSet2) using your query. Add a filter on this dataset. Make Fields!Customer_request_Month.Value
    =
    Datepart("m",Now())
    Then add a column inside of column group, using the expression below:
    =lookup(Fields!Region.Value,Fields!Region.Value,Fields!Amount.Value,"DataSet2")
    The design and result look like below:
    Reference:
    Expression Examples (Report Builder and SSRS)
    Lookup Function (Report Builder and SSRS)
    If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

  • WDABAP - How to read data from filtered ALV table

    HI
    In Web Dynpro for ABAP.
    I have a view with an ALV table on it.
    I would like to know how to read the data that's been filtered in the ALV table?
    Regards

    I've managed to find out that during runtime the following code returns a reference to a class pool:
    data: lr_salv_wd_table TYPE REF TO iwci_salv_wd_table.
    lr_salv_wd_table = wd_This->wd_cpIfc_ALV_GRAPHICS_DATA( )
    Two of the attributes of this class pool are:
              <b>IG_COMPONENTCONTROLLER~R_COMPONENT =    </b>
    <b>          IF_COMPONENTCONTROLLER~R_COMPONENT =    </b>
    The attributes, IG_COMPONENTCONTROLLERR_COMPONENT and IF_COMPONENTCONTROLLERR_COMPONENT references a class CL_SALV_WD_C_TABLE. This class has an attribute R_RESULT_DATA which references a class CL_SALV_WD_RESULT_DATA_TABLE. The attribute T_RESULT_DATA contains the filtered data.
    Now I need to find out how I can access these attributes in the view.

  • How to show PieChart Vertically instead of Horizontally?

    Hi,
    Like the title indicates, I hope that is there property or
    method or event allowing to show a PieChart Vertically instead of
    horizontally.
    Cheers,

    for example :
    my pie chart represents two values : 50% and 50%. How this
    values will be shown in PieChart? the answer is vertically the
    first 50% in the top and the second one in the bottom.
    What I want is to show the values horizontally that's mean in
    this example the first 50% in the right and the other one in the
    left.
    Thank you in advance :)
