How to show PieChart Vertically instead of Horizontally?

Hi,
Like the title indicates, I hope that is there property or
method or event allowing to show a PieChart Vertically instead of
horizontally.
Cheers,

for example :
my pie chart represents two values : 50% and 50%. How this
values will be shown in PieChart? the answer is vertically the
first 50% in the top and the second one in the bottom.
What I want is to show the values horizontally that's mean in
this example the first 50% in the right and the other one in the
left.
Thank you in advance :)

    Can I merge two photos vertically instead of horizontally?

    I don't understand the question. Please provide additional information as to just what you wish to do.
    For example, do you wish to display and print two portrait oriented photos side-by-side?

  • Export PS from Indesign, open in Preview - vertical instead of horizontal - cuts off part of the page.

    I tried to make my title as short as possible..
    In a nut shell, I am exporting a postscript file from the Print Booklet feature in Indesign.
    Why not export a straight PDF from Indesign you may be wondering? Because it is not paginated.... I don't need to print in logical order, 1,2,3,4,5... Rather the spreads with page numbers 36/1, 2/35, 34/3, etc... And the only way it seems to be able to do this (without me having to do it manually) is to print booklet and choose PostScript.
    All is fine and dandy until then, but when I proceed to open the saved PS file in Preview, it opens it vertically instead of horizontally chopping off 3.5 inches from the right side of the booklet. (my book is 11 x 8.5, folds to 5.5 x 8.5)....
    Anyway to remedy this?
    Thanks

    Typical!! - I solved the problem right after posting this.
    Works fine in Photoshop when "crop to crop box" is selected in  the menu options.

  • How do I flip the view of the legend bar so it is vertical instead of horizontal? I want the legend bar vertically positioned in my column chart.

    I clicked the show legend button and edited it according to my data but it placed it horizontally. I need it vertical and there does not seem to be a function to flip the view. Does anybody know how to switch the view of the legend bar?

    Use the handle at the left or right to the Legend box to reduce the width of the box. The strung-out list will change to columns, and eventually to a single column.

  • Check boxes show vertically instead of horizontally

    hi,
    I've added a 'check box' item to my page.
    there are three check boxes.
    they are appearing underneath each other [vertically].
    i want them to appear next to each other [horizontally].
    any ideas?
    regards,
    paul

    Use the Number of Columns property in the item Settings attributes to control this. For example, if there are 3 checkboxes in the group, set the Number of Columns to 3...
    OR
    Leave the Number of Columns property at 1 and add the following CSS to the page:
    #item-id br {   display: none; }
    where item-id is the name of the checkbox item to make only that group horizontal, or
    .checkbox_group br {   display: none; }
    to make all checkbox groups horizontal.

  • Video Plays back vertically instead of horizontally

    I shot a video with my bloggie touch of a stage show, holding the camera horizontally. My problem is it plays back on the Bloggie and my computer vertically.
    Is there a way to rotate this video? Otherwise I can't watch this, and the video is useless.
    Any thoughts?

    page 17 shows the views of how the picture was taken
    http://www.docs.sony.com/release/MHSTSs ... ndbook.pdf
    Yes you can shoot video in any orientation, However, for a widescreen movie It is recommended to shoot your video in landscape mode. If you shoot holding the camera vertically, The video will record and play back vertically showing the black aspect ratio bars you see on the above page 17. For widescreen, 1920-by-1080 video, you'll need to shoot in landscape mode, with the screen sideways and the Record button to the left or right.
    In order to rotate your existing video you will need to use a video editing software to edit and save. Windows and Macintosh operating systems alike both have basic video editing programs that came standard, or is readily available for download with the software.

  • How to show the text, instead of number

    Hi Buddies;
    I'm creating a form, using oracle forms 10g. In this form I'm showing the equipment information. We sell services, and for some services, we provide the equipment, but we have a lot of a equipment, so we need to keep an inventory of these equipment. So for each equipment we have several status, example; Available, Returned ok, Assigned, Stolen, Returned by Damage .
    These status resides in other table, but in the where I'm getting the info to show thru the screen, just have a code.
    What I want, is to change this code, for the description of that code, example, 01 = Available. So, if the record for status has code 01, instead of 01, I want to show the word Avalaible.
    Can somebody explain me, how to do this.
    Thanks
    ANG

    oooppss i missed one this there is you code mistake also...
    Begin
         Select status_name into :EQP.status_code -- Here use description field name not the same code field
         from eqp_status
         where status_code = :EQP.status_code ;
    End;Also increase the size of datatype of description item so it can hold description.
    I like to use LIST ITEM in these type of cases ;) Its easy and not required any POST-QUERY and POST-CHANGE code. As craig said you will have to keep on POST-QUERY and any performance issue etc.
    So, i would prefer to use this method...
    1. For that code field set the item type property to LIST ITEM.
    2. Create one record group of your this query like...
    Select status_code, status_name
    from eqp_status3. Populate that record group into that list item. like
    Trigger = WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE form-level
    DECLARE
      vGrp NUMBER;
    BEGIN
      vGrp:=POPULATE_GROUP('GROUP_NAME');
      POPULATE_LIST('LIST_ITEM_NAME','GROUP_NAME');
    END;Now at the time of query it will automatically show you saved status.

  • Print Report to PDF with columns vertical instead of horizontal

    I enabled report printing for a report region but the PDF lists the columns horizontally even though the columns are listed vertically on the report page. Is there a way to list the columns vertically on the PDF so that it matches the layout on the report page. Thanks for your help.

    Hi hhsu68
    Wondering how you are arranging columns listed vertically on the report page?
    You mean just selecting any vertical report template, or
    you mean just column headers are vertical and the data as normal (horizontal)?
    If its the second case could you please let me know how you did that?
    Off course I would also like to know if you have found a solution to your problem as well.
    Thank you

  • Why are observed computers listing vertically instead of horizontally?

    Sorry if this is a really basic question...
    Just in the last week or so, when I'm observing a lab of computers named "computer 1", "computer 2" etc up to "computer 25" instead of showing them in the observation window 1 through 25 in rows left to right as it used to, now it's showing them in columns, which is messing with my head.  I've had a poke around views and preferences but I can't see how do I get them to show in rows again?
    My machine and target machines both running OS 10.8, ARD version 3.7, ARD client version 3.6.2

    That's the way Apple apparently decided to have it in ARD 3.7 and there's no way I know of to change it. You can comment to Apple on the change via their feedback page, if you wish:

  • Expand the matrix vertically instead of horizontally.

    Hi I am using RS 2008. I have a report which is as follows.
    The column groupings are by year and quarter and row groupings are by category and sub category. The matrix expands horizontally displaying the next year and quarter on next page, instead of vertically expanding first and displaying the category and sub
    categories, and then displaying the next years/quarters. The data on page 4 below should be displayed  on page 2, so that it is presented correctly.
    Would appreciate any help.
    Thanks

    Hi sud,
    According to your description, you create a matrix in the report. When rendering the report, you want to display all rows then display all columns, right?
    In Reporting Services, the matrix is processed from left to right, then from top to bottom. This behavior is by design. So in your scenario, if the first page can’t contain all rows and columns, then on the next page, it will display the additional columns.
    After processing all columns correspond to the rows displayed on the first page, it will processing the left rows. So for your requirement, it can’t be achieved currently.
    If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

  • SAML-based claims authentication in SharePoint: how to show Display Name instead of email address?

    Hello,
    I followed the following step by step guide for SAML-based claims authentication with ADFS:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh305235.aspx
    The authentication works well; however, Sharepoint shows the users’ email everywhere including at the top right suite-bar. I rather to see users’ display name instead of email. Is there any way to have SharePoint shows user’s display name instead of email
    address when the primary SAML claim is email address?
    Thank you,

    You need to be able to import the identity store into the UPA. See http://sharepointobservations.wordpress.com/2013/08/06/sharepoint-2013-configure-user-profile-service-for-adfs-provider/ for
    a good step-by-step on how this is configured.

  • Scroll all articles vertically instead of horizontally?!

    Hello!
    I have 5 articles (some with one page, some with more pages) and I can standardly change between them when I swipe horizontally.
    But I want to scroll them vertically (but not with smooth-scrolling). So all articles should be displayed only among themselves, so that you can only swipe horizontally when the article has more than one page.
    I hope you know what I mean? All directions should be vica versa. It seems that there is no way to build the DPS-App in this way.
    I would be very thankful for tipps of you!
    Greetings
    Jenny

    Hi,
    You can do it, but it would be rather tricky:
    You have to make a single article with five pages. Each page will become virtual "article". If your new "article" has more than one page, you would use MSO slideshows set to swipe so you can browse the pages horizontally, yet keepeng them on one real page. And you would swipe vertically from one "article" to another.
    There are negatives for this solution: You will have a single TOC entry for your 5  articles.
    But the user experience would match your requirements.

  • How to show fixed values instead of field values in ALV cell.

    Hi colleagues,
    I have a ALV object of type CL_GUI_ALV_GRID.
    I have associted a table with it which has a field called refresh type which is of type char1.
    My program works fine.
    But the problem is,
    The refresh_type field has fixed values in its value range.
    On display of ALV i want to show the associated fixed value instead of actual value in table content.
    I donno the way to do it.
    Please help me.

    Another way to do this would be to define a conversion exit function for use in the report.
    You can copy a SAP-provided function group like ALFA as a template, but you may need untyped importing/exporting parameters. Name the new functions as CONVERSION_EXIT_Zxxx_OUTPUT and CONVERSION_EXIT_Zxxx_INPUT where Zxxx is some string you choose.
    In this case the input to the ...OUTPUT function will be the code value from the database and the output value will be the corresponding text. So the code of the function CONVERSION_EXIT_Zxxx_OUTPUT will do the conversion suggested in steps 2 & 3 of Marcin's response above.
    Here is an example based on the SFLIGHT model to enhance example report BCALV_GRID_DEMO.
    First the conversion function:  (I used 'zalv' as my identifying string for the conversion.)
    function conversion_exit_zalv_output.
    *"*"Local Interface:
    *"  IMPORTING
    *"     VALUE(INPUT)
    *"  EXPORTING
    *"     VALUE(OUTPUT)
      field-symbols:
        <output> type c,
        <carrid> type c.
      assign input  to <carrid> casting.
      assign output to <output> casting.
      select single carrname from  scarr into <output>  " convert code to text
             where  carrid  = <carrid>.
    endfunction.
    In a copy of program BCALV_GRID_DEMO, make changes in the module pbo.
    module pbo output.
      set pf-status 'MAIN100'.
      if g_custom_container is initial.
        create object g_custom_container
          exporting
            container_name = g_container.
        create object grid1
          exporting
            i_parent = g_custom_container.
    * " changes start here
        data: gs_fcat type lvc_s_fcat,
              gt_fcat type lvc_t_fcat.
        tables: dd03l.
        select * from dd03l where tabname = 'SFLIGHT'. " fill field catalog
          if dd03l-fieldname = 'CARRID'.
            gs_fcat-inttype = dd03l-inttype.
            gs_fcat-outputlen = 20.
            gs_fcat-coltext = 'Carrier'.
            gs_fcat-seltext = 'Carrier'.
            gs_fcat-edit_mask = '==ZALV'. " == with the string you used to name the functions
          else.
            clear gs_fcat.
            gs_fcat-ref_table = dd03l-tabname.
          endif.
          gs_fcat-fieldname = dd03l-fieldname.
          append gs_fcat to gt_fcat.
        endselect.
    * " changes end here
        call method grid1->set_table_for_first_display
          exporting
            i_structure_name = 'SFLIGHT'
          changing
            it_fieldcatalog  = gt_fcat
            it_outtab        = gt_sflight.
      endif.
    endmodule.                    "PBO OUTPUT
    If you run this amended program, you see appropriate carrier texts in the ALV grid, where the original program had the IATA codes.
    This approach makes sense if, for example, the same translation is also required elsewhere, as the function can easily be reused.
    best wishes
    Ed

  • Inserting photos into emails. Why are they sent vertical instead of horizontal?

    Please tell me why photos inserted into emails as hrorizontal are sent/received by recipient as vertical?  How can this be sent/received as constructed?

    Sending photos as a PDF defeats the purpose of inserting viewable photos in the body of a mail message.  Any suggestions to make it look as created when sent/received?  Thank you for the discussion.
    There is absolutely nothing you can do to in an email that will positively ensure the recipient sees it as you wish.
    Since it is an auto-rotation issue, you might try exporting the photos first. That may eliminate the rotation metadata.
