How to show pie chart in Oracle Map?

I created predefined theme with pie chart style using MapBuilder. When I requested map using XML map request, the pie chart are shown with background and base map behind. Unfortunately, I tried to use Oracle Maps JavaScript Client API and it showed only background with base map behind.
I’m using this code
themebasedfoi = new MVThemeBasedFOI('themebasedfoi1','geoadmin.pie_province ');
themebasedfoi.setBringToTopOnMouseOver(true);
mapview.addThemeBasedFOI(themebasedfoi);
geoadmin is my username and pie_province is my pie chart predefined theme
Sorry for my English
Many thanks

Hi
You can create chart by chart wizard in layout model in report 6i.
1. Create Query in data model
2. Go Layout model and right click
3. Select Chart Wizard then select Chart type
4. Select Axis (X axis column and Y axis column)
5. Choose your chart placement

  • PIE chart in Oracle 9i Reports

    Hi,
    I'm using Orcle 9i Report builder to create reports.I'm creating web-source and saving it as JSP.Now I want to add 'PIE' charts into my reports.But, when I'm using the 'Graph' option in 'Insert' menu,it's not creating the 'PIE chart' properly.Pls anybody help me know how can I create 'PIE chart'
    Thanks in advance
    Rajesh K.R

    Hi Rajesh,
    Suppose you want to show salaries of a few employees in a Pie Chart (this is just a dummy graph to explain the steps - you can build more meaningful graphs). So you want that each employee's salary should be shown as a percentage of the total. Follow these steps:
    1. Use the query - Select empno, sal from emp
    2. Go to the web layout, place your curson in the rw:dataArea tags, and choose Insert > Graph
    3. In the Graph wizard, choose Pie Chart, select empno in X-axis, and sal in the Y-axis
    4. In the "Layout" step, drag "sal" from groups into the slices field
    5. Fill in the titles, etc, and click finish.
    Click "Run to Web" in the builder, and you should see the pie chart in the web page.

  • Charting Query: How to show detailed chart when clicked

    Hi , I have a flash chart that shows monthly summary values . When user clicks on a bar ( say for month of JAN), I want to show another chart based on data for JAN only. I am trying to figure out how to show my detail chart when user clicks on a summary bar.
    Can someone advise how can I pass value from parent chart to child chart?
    Thanks
    Aali
    Edited by: aali on 02-Feb-2010 00:30

    Hi Aali,
    Create 2 pages, one for summary the other for detailed (assuming P1 & P2). The query for your first chart needs to link to the second including a month value. It might look something like this:
    select 'f?p=&APP_ID.:2:'||:app_session||'::::P2_MONTH:'||MONTH||':' link, MONTH  label, SUM(SALES) value1
    from TBL_DETAILS
    group by MONTH
    -- :2: is the page you're linking to (detailed chart)
    -- P2_MONTH should be a hidden item on that page to store the month value
    -- MONTH is the value to be passed...this could be some substr(date_col, 4,6) or somethingCreate your Hidden P2_MONTH item making sure it is NOT Hidden and Protected. Page 2 query something like:
    select null link, DAY label, SUM(SALES) value1, SUM(COSTS) value2, COUNT(STAFF) value3
    from TBL_DETAILS
    where MONTH = :P2_MONTH
    group by DAYI don't have info on your tables though so hopefully this is helps.

  • How to display PIE chart Axis label horizontally?

    Hi
    Currently my PIE chart axis label is displying in 2 lines. How make it to display in one line?
    Thank you

    hi,
    For Pie chart there will be no X-axis or Y-axis terms generally.
    Label/Text could be one of the following.
    Title?
    or Sub Title?
    or Foot note?
    Right Click -> Format Title . Reduce the font size such that it fits into a single line.

  • How to Show Inline Message in Oracle ADF 11g Release 1.

    Can you please tell me how to show inline error Message on particular field.

    If I understand your requirement correctly you need to show a particular error message showing a red mark around the field like in required case right ?
    You would need to do it programmatically by using the following code -
                    FacesMessage msg = new FacesMessage(FacesMessage.SEVERITY_ERROR,"Error on this field", null);
                    facesContext.addMessage(uiComponent.getClientId(facesContext), msg);//where uiComponent is the binding of the component in the bean ,on which the error needs to be shown.

  • How to create pie charts in BIP 11g using .XSL?

    Hi,
    Requirement is to create a multi sheet excel output. Because of this. I am going the XSL way and not RTF.
    Now, I need to create pie charts using XSL as part of the output.
    * Is it possible to create pie charts in .XSL? If so, any pointers?
    * I tried some SVG coding by referencing the below link but not result:
    <http://www.svgopen.org/2003/papers/CreatingSVGPieChartsThroughWebService/index.html#S2.1>
    * I also created the required chart in RTF and tried to use the underlying XSL-FO code. Not sure if I have used it in the right way. Has anyone tried doing that?
    If you have any info, please share.
    Thanks,
    Divya

    One more point : I came across a link which talks about Bar charts using XSLT :
    http://www.roguewave.com/Portals/0/products/imsl-numerical-libraries/java-library/docs/5.0.1/chartpg/xml_xslt.html
    so, I am hoping, there is a way to do pie charts as well?
    Thanks,

  • Show pie chart data block by block

    Hello experts,
    imagine you have a list of suppliers and their invoice volume. Now you want to display the suppliers in a pie chart, but as this list can be quite long the pie chart gets complex.
    Now it's the question whether it's possible to display only N values at one time (e.g. display the first 10 values, the second 10 values and so on).
    I know that you can use the Top N-property in a query, define N as a variable and display the (e.g.) Top 10, Top 20 and so on values. But that's not what we need.
    Does anyone have an idea?
    Thanks in advance and greetings,
    Daniel

    I think that should have been fixed in Design Studio 1.2 SP01, if its happening in a newer release, then it is unfortunately a regression:
    1953578  - Chart values defaulting to 1 or 0
    The expected behaviour is to display the percentage share in the chart, and the absolute value in the tooltip.
    Best regards,
    Victor

  • How to show regions markers in Google maps based on longitude and latitude. on-click of region marker i want to display all the country locations based on the region from share point list?

    Hello every one,
    In My requirement i am having  some regions with longitude and latitude in one SharePoint list. in another SharePoint list i am having the country values with longitude and latitude and region as look up field.  I want to display all the region
    markers in Google maps. on click of any region marker i want to zoom in the map to region level and i need to display all the country markers in Google maps under the region. can any body help me on this requirement.
    Thanks in advance,
    Venu.

    Not sure about Google Maps but this is fairly easy to do with Bing Maps. I've used Bing Maps with SharePoint lists fairly regularly. Here are some blog posts:
    http://blogs.bing.com/maps/2013/03/26/connecting-a-sharepoint-list-to-bing-maps/
    http://blogs.bing.com/maps/2013/03/07/geocoding-a-sharepoint-list-item/
    Once you have your sharepoint list connected to Bing Maps you can easily filter the list data based on the selected country if you have a country column in your list. If you want to take things a bit further an create a much cooler user experience you can
    also use the Bing Maps GeoData API to get the country boundaries and show them on the map as polygons. These could be color coded based on some metric, or set up as the clickable area on the map rather than a pushpin. Here is a blog post on how to use the
    GeoData API with the JavaScript Bing Maps control:

  • How to show speed, when only using maps

    Hi
    I have a 5230, I will like to see the speed I am driving, only using map, but no destianation, is that posible and how.
    Br/

    Ah, depending on how new the car model is, the speedometer is more accurate.
    Anyway, as of the moment Ovi Maps is incapable of doing what you're asking. However you can however simply put the navigation volume at 0, set a random destination and drive around. Just ignore the blue line in the navigation.
    You do know where you are going, so why dont you just set that as the destination when you drive? I mean, that's what the Nav system is for right?
    If you find my post helpful please click the green star on the left under the avatar. Thanks.

    We are currently working on better BI Graph bean xml documentation, so today all you have is the graph.dtd which is located in the bigraphbean.jar.
