How to show speed, when only using maps

I have a 5230, I will like to see the speed I am driving, only using map, but no destianation, is that posible and how.

Ah, depending on how new the car model is, the speedometer is more accurate.
Anyway, as of the moment Ovi Maps is incapable of doing what you're asking. However you can however simply put the navigation volume at 0, set a random destination and drive around. Just ignore the blue line in the navigation.
You do know where you are going, so why dont you just set that as the destination when you drive? I mean, that's what the Nav system is for right?

Try a reset.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

HOW TO SHOW JLABEL IN JDIALOG USE TIMERTASK WHILE MAIN CLASS IS SLEEPING?

I have done a code below and it is working but the only problem is when the main program start to sleep by use Thread.sleep(10000) for 10 secs and it will prompt out a JDialog contain JLabel inside it with message "Please wait.... program is sleeping.". And when the thread ends the JDialog will auto disappear and it back to the main program.
The problem is:
When the JDialog appear, it doesn't show the component so I only be able to view the JDialog window without contain any component. I already use container to add the component into JDialog but it still doesn't show. I only be able to see the JDialog window contain empty component when the main window is sleeping.
How to make the components also appear in the JDialog when the main program is sleeping?

How to show pie chart in Oracle Map?

I created predefined theme with pie chart style using MapBuilder. When I requested map using XML map request, the pie chart are shown with background and base map behind. Unfortunately, I tried to use Oracle Maps JavaScript Client API and it showed only background with base map behind.

You can create chart by chart wizard in layout model in report 6i.
1. Create Query in data model
2. Go Layout model and right click
3. Select Chart Wizard then select Chart type
4. Select Axis (X axis column and Y axis column)

This is probably close to what you want. I believe messages can be replaced by null. You can probably figure out the rest from the API.

How to "Show notifications when display is off"

Hi,
In Mavericks Beta the notifications from Mail, Messages, Facebook etc. were displayed even when the screen was turned off. It lit up the screen for a while showed the notification for few seconds and then the screen was turned off again. I really liked that feature cause I could see whats happening on my iMac even if I wasn't using it.

But the option to enable it is no longer in the Notifications settings, instead there is "Show notifications on lock screen".
So please let me ask, is there some possibility to show notifications on turned off display? Maybe by editing some preference file or something like that?

I too would like to know a way around this problem. In the prior version of iCal, you could enable alarms only when iCal was running. I routinely sync three computers, sometimes hours to days apart. So unless I remember to turn alarms off prior to shutting down the machines, the alarms are not properly updated upon syncing when an idle machine is turned back on.
Hope this makes sense. Either way, it would have been better if Apple had not gotten rid of this feature in the new iCal.

I think you need use CHANGED as value for CRITERIA. I don't think NW doesn't support CHANGED value for CRITERIA i guess.

How to show balance insurance amount using FMS?

If goods received in good condition from the Advance insurance amount,the Purchase Invoice amount has to be deducted continuously.But when they adding one more AP Invoice, how to show balance insurance amount in that screen. if they reached ZERO amount they have to add Insurance amount. is it possible to achieve this through FMS?

Client is insuring certain amount before purchasing the item (Sum assured Value)
When they creating AP Invoice, Invoice document total has to be deducted from the Sum assured Value. Provision has to be made to add the additional amount to Sum assured Value.
Is it possible to achieve through FMS?
Right now am created 3 UDF in marketing documents-title, which are
1.Sum assured Value
2.Present balance
3.Current balance amount,how to add the additional amount to Sum assured Value.

How can I speed up logins using MacBooks to a Windows Server 2008 environment. Logging onto the network is extremely slow. We are using a wireless connection to the network in classrooms

I work in an Education environment with Windows Server 2008. I am trying to join our Macbooks to Active Directory. They are joined but the login is extremely slow. I read that this is because of a possible problem with an OS update.

Check the ethernet link speed when connected directly to the TC.. if you are plugged into the modem direct.. and comparing that with wireless on the TC we have no way of knowing where the issue is.
There is some issue related by someone when the TC was bridged.
It is extremely hard to impossible to know what is causing wireless slow down.. needs lots more info.
What is the link speed?
Set manually and try different channels.
The series 1 cannot do 2.4ghz and 5ghz simultaneously but test on 5ghz and see what the speed is like. You will need to be in the same room as the TC.
