How to solve this?

Question

This is what I want to do.
I have an ArrayList with lot of elements (e.g. 1003)
I want to get 100 elements out of this list as a new list each time.
0 to 99
100 to 199
900 to 999
1000 to 1002
But my code gives me only upto 1000. It is not getting me 1001,1002 and 1003. I could not figure out why?
Help me to identify and fix the bug.

Are you sure about what does this snippet??
try{
  List id =new ArrayList(); //new list with max 100 elements
  for(int i = 0; i < ids.size(); i++){
    for (int j=0; j<100; j++)
      id.add(ids.get(j));
  }I don't think that what you want it's to add to the id List the first 100 elements of ids for each element it has
