How to stop deletion flag / indicator from being set in a PM order

I want to put a check before a service order (PM Order) is set the deletion flag and the deletion indicator. How can I do it? Is there any user exit available for this? The purpose of this is to prevent it from getting archived before a given condition is met. Please advise.

Some Enhancements (CMOD/SMOD) suitable
- (PBO type) IWO10006 "Maint. order: Fcode exclusion through cust. enhancement" EXIT_SAPLCOIH_006) to disable function code "LVMS"
- (AT SAVE type) IWO10009 "PM Order: Customer Check for 'Save' Event" (EXIT_SAPLCOIH_009) you can raise an error after some checks if caufvd_imp-loekz EQ 'X'.
You could also use implicit enhancement points in FM CO_ZR_ACTIVATE_DELETE_FLAG or K_ORDER_CHECK.

  • How to stop a JSF frame from being refreshed

    Hi
I am trying to open a popup using window.open(foo, foo) by setting the ONCLICK parameter.
I have certain actionListeners that have to be invoked for this popup to work correctly.
Right now I am storing certain Javascript variable on the parent applet. However after showing the popup and calling the actionListener the parent applet is getting refreshed and I am losing my JS variables... :(
I tried calling window.open ONMOUSECLICK and doing "return false" for ONCLICK but if I do this the actionlisteners are not being called.
So Is there any way I Can have the actionListener called but not refresh the JSF page....?
    PLEASE HELP
    Thanks
    Kishore

inputdata.jsp page of the jsf-popup application uses onmousedown and use onclick='return false' for one form, but the second form is submitted when user presses button on the first form. If you add Action Listener to the second form it will be fired.
Action Listener is fired on the server side. To make it called you have to have a form submitted. if you want to submit the form without refreshing the page, the target attribute of the form should be set and point to another frame or a window.
Changing the target for the main form of the page might cause problem with the next submission, that is why the jsf-popup example uses additional form located on the same page.

But in terms of my initial query; thanks for responding. But no, this is NOT the cause of the problem. I have auto sync and sync over wifi activated, but have also selected manually manage music and videos. Plus, all of my music and videos are on my macbook, absolutely all of it, so if it my phone was syncing with my macbook everything would still be on the phone. Life would be peachy if my phone jsut copied everything that was on my macbook, but unfortuantely it keeps deleting tracks for no apparent reason.

I have an alias of one of my external hard drives in my trash. When I tried to delete it, it showed that I was deleting 80,000 files and counting. I stopped the delete process and when I clicked on "show original" all my external H.D.'s and my Mac hard drive show up. How do I delete this alias from the trash without loosing all my files? Tried rebooting the computer and then turning the external hard drive back on and the alias shows up in the trash again. Much help appreciated.

In Finder's Menu, select Go menu>Go to Folder, and go to "/volumes". (no quotes)
Volumes is where an alias to your hard drive ("/" at boot) is placed at startup, and where all the "mount points" for auxiliary drives are created for you to access them. This folder is normally hidden from view.
Drives with an extra 1 on the end have a side-effect of mounting a drive with the same name as the system already think exists. Try trashing the duplicates with a 1 or 2 if there are no real files in them, and reboot.
    If it does contain data...

  • How do I delete a song from my Itunes library? I follow the instructions and right click on the song and click delete from the drop down menu but, then it asks me if I am sure I want to hide this song in Iclouds? I dont even know what Iclouds is?!?! HELP!

How do I delete a song from my Itunes music library? I follow the instructions and right click on the song and then select "delete" as specified and my info claims at that point it will ask if I want to send this song to my trash bin, but, instead, when I try to delete the song, I get another window asking "are you sure you want to hide this song in iCloud? I don't even know what iCloud is?!?!? I don't want iCloud and just want to get rid of old songs!!! HELP ME!!!

    Short answer:
Click Hide Song(s), it is what you wanted to do...
    Long answer:
iTunes in the Cloud is a feature of your iTunes store account that allows you to redownload or stream your past purchases. When you delete a purchased track that is downloaded to your computer (like the first one shown here) you are asked if you also want to hide the song from iCloud. This would remove it from the computer and also stop it showing up with the iCloud symbol as the other tracks from that album (which are not downloaded) do.
If a track shows with the cloud symbol you can play (stream) it by double-clicking the title, or click the cloud symbol to download a local copy to your library. If you try to delete one of these tracks you get a slightly different message confirming that you want to hide the track. Clicking hide will remove the listing from the library and any other device that shows your past purchases.
Should you want to retrieve any item hidden in this way at a later date use Store > View My Account > iTunes in the Cloud > Hidden Purchases > Manage.
To hide all your previous purchases that are not downloaded to your computer use Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.

How the system consider the warehouse stock for MRP Calculation
    thanks
    Mohan

    Hi Mohan,
According to my best knowledge the default setting is that your storage location belongs to your plant and MRP considers every stock in your storage location except those that aren't relevant (e.g. blocked stock)
You may have special kind of stock, e.g. stock at your vendors if you use subcontracting processes. These stock are also considered.
Of course you can change this situation creating MRP areas and assigning storage locations to MRP areas.
This subject is very wide I think, you can get lots of information on the net (e.g.):

  • Re: How do I keep an application from being started morethan once?

Here are some quick ideas. None of them should be too hard to implement,
    although each has some drawbacks.
    1. Have a login server track who is logged on, and if there is already a
logon for a given user or a given machine, then deny the application
startup. The nice thing about this is that a user will not be able to have
multiple logins even by going to another machine. Then again, this may not
be so nice, and you also get a possible single point of failure on the
login server for which you will have to prepare.
    2. Drop to the operating system, and get a list of processes for the client
machine. If the name of one of them matches the name of application that
is being run, then deny startup. This avoids a network hit, but requires
some OS specific code. Also, a clever user could change the name of an
executable to get around this. Note that a user could have another login
    on another machine.
    3. Write to a file on the local machine. You can hide the file in some
suitable place, and can also scramble some information so that a user
cannot get around having this file present by reading from the file at
startup and then writing to it. Based on the state of your application,
the file will have some scrambled information indicating if an instance of
an application can be started. If you retain the write lock (i.e. do not
close) the file for the duration of the application, you increase your
security at the risk of a confused user if the application gets terminated
without releasing the lock. Depending on the OS where the client will run,
this could be an issue. If you like this option, perform some experiments
first on all configurations of an example client machine to determine the
behavior. Again, this only works to prevent an extra login on a single
    machine, not system wide.
If you are not concerned about your users hacking around too much and don't
care about a login on another machine, I would opt for some version of
number 3. Otherwise, I would venture number 1.

Yet another quick and dirty solution is to use local ExternalConnections.
This is a single instance per machine solution.
    Example is attached.

Subject: Re: How do I keep an application from being started more than
    once?
    Martin,
there are two ways to read your question
    (a) no more than one instance of an application per machine
    (b) no more than one instance of an application per "user"
now if a user has only one machine, and your system has "userids" and you
    only want
one active "session" per "user" then the distinction is irrelevant.
    However, many systems
let people share logins, so a token based thing enforcing one login will be
    problematic.
The downside of #1 approach suggested by Curtis happens when a machine gets
hosed without "logging" the user off the security system, then they can't
get in until their ticket expires or a sysadmin gets involved. Should be
manageable, however. But this enforces one application
instance per user, unless you check both for the presence of an active
token for that user as well as the presence of a token tied to that
particular node name. Otherwise there is nothing to prevent the same user
from launching the app again and logging in as a different user. This is
definitely the best approach of the bunch, and can be adapted for either
    (a) or (b).
Suggestion # 2 won't work unless the application is built as a compiled
    client,
since the process name will be 'ftexec' and not the "name" of the
    application. And it doesn't
prevent a user from launching the app from a different machine (or people
sharing logins). So again it depends on what you are trying to achieve.
#3 also only prevents multiple instances per machine, not necessarily by
    user. Of course
most people don't have multiple machines. The point is that you may be
    trying to
prevent your users from sharing logins. In which case the file thing won't
    do it.
    Some other ideas:
    1. You could, however, enforce one application per machine using the
installed partition agent's ExecutingPartition instrument name. As long as
the user doesn't run the app in a different environment, you can have the
app check at startup time if there is another
ActivePartition running under the same InstalledPartition name.
    (ActivePartitions are child agents
    of InstalledPartitions).
    2. use the ObjectLocationManager and bind a simple object into the naming
system using a naming scheme such as
    /MyApplication/MyNode or
    /MyApplication/MyUserId
the presence of either one would indicate that another instance of that
application is running on either that machine or that user. Of course
these have to be cleaned out, and subject to similar downside as
alternative #1. So you'd essentially be using the forte naming system as a
    distributed lock manager (ouch).
    3. Have the application remove the shortcut to launch it upon startup, and
recreate it when it is finished, or move it to a hidden place. There it
is - the worst idea I've ever come up with. Don't
    do this!

Anyone any advice on how to stop my mail "activity" from continuously caching? is this a problem? I have had inbox issues recently that are not resolved yet but I am not sure if they are related.

Quit Mail. Force quit if necessary.
Back up all data. That means you know you can restore the Mail database, no matter what happens.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it:
    ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Envelope Index
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return.
A Finder window will open with a file selected. Move the selected file to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Other files in the folder may have names that begin with "Envelope Index". Move those files, if any, to the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is corrupt and that Mail has to quit. Click OK.
Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the file you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, post your results.
