How to stop the email chime?

I use my iPad to read in bed, but at night I'm constantly disturb by the eMail chime.
I wen in the settings and turn off all the notification sound from all the applications but kept the visual,
I even turn the volume from the iPad all the way off, but I still get that chime when I receive mail.
Is any one now of fix for this?

I don't think Firefox has a built-in email button. Do you have an add-on that created that button, or do you mean a button pinned to the Windows Taskbar?
If it's an add-on, check whether it has an settings available for window vs. tab. If this doesn't appear with the button itself (for example, using a drop-down triangle next to the button) you can check the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then check the list for the relevant extension and try its Options... button.

How do I stop the email sync between my desktop computer and my laptop? Right now, the laptop is set to automatically load my email when I click on mail. I use my desktop daily; laptop only when traveling. The laptop is somehow set to receive ALL messages, so I get messages that are several weeks/months old. I want to be able to manually sync and NOT have all of the hundreds of old, already viewed messages sent to my laptop. However, I DO want my desktop to receive all of my old messages so that I can have them when I return from traveling. Thanks.

Actually, your mail isn't 'synchronizing' in the conventional sense at all. And, you are effectively trying to make it do so manually at the present time. As you have discovered, this simply does not work.
The only way that you can effectively address your requirements is to use IMAP—rather than POP3—technology. Using IMAP will allow you to readily control what is stored on the server, and will provide a view into that data store when you use your portable computer.
While is is possible to use POP3 and set one computer to delete mail from the server and the other not to, this is potentially fraught with problems, and will not fully address your concerns.
An IMAP option is available from such providers as Apple with .Mac, AOL with AOL Mail and AIM Mail, and Google with GMail. You can convert an existing POP3 account with such a provider to IMAP with little difficulty, or initiate a new IMAP account with such a provider and forward mail to it from providers who do not offer such an option.

Can't stop the email spam

Anyone know how to stop junk email from coming into Apple mail? On my Windows computer, spam doesn't come through on Outlook. Verizon email settings show spam detector is on and emails are deleted. But that doesn't solve the problem on my iPad and iPhone, I can't stop the constant stream of spam email. Any ideas?

The Yahoo mail app remembers spam when it comes up again if you mark it with the Yahoo Mail app.
If you use Gmail or Yahoo mail app, they each have an icon to label emails as spam. Yahoo uses a shield icon.
if you use the stock app, tap the file folder and send to junk. In settings app, under mail, make sure it is set to "send spam to JUNK"

Every time I log into an account and use my Apple ID I get an email notification letting me know I did, and if it wasn't me to go to Apple ID support and change my password. I appreciate the concern to keep my privacy, but enough already. How do I stop these?

How to stop the "renew cloud subscription"

I cancelled my Cloud membership a couple of months ago, when I purchased the Master suite. I haven't uninstalled the Cloud downloads yet, which I'm sure is the problem. Do I need to uninstall all of the softwares now and reinstall the purchased one's again, or can I just uninstall the Cloud software and be cool?
I've also gotten an error message when opening up Illustrator, saying that I need to rt click the .exe file so that it can be repaired, not sure what the heck that means but it's happened everytime I've opened that software since I bought it and it's a little disturbing, do you thing that doing the above will correct that issue?

Yeah but I wouldn't be surprised if some new features for cloud users are held back and happen soon after the release and are chalked up to Adobe had to make a cut off for distribution (how it normally goes), so the cloud members feel like they are getting more and the perpetual users are again left to ponder the cloud. Your thread title - How to stop the "renew cloud subscription" - along with your message stating you cancelled your "Adobe Creative Cloud" membership, well these two things brought out the Adobe Staff as they want everyone they can to get on the Cloud, and no doubt made them cringe at the thought of people canceling the program even though your allowed to as its your choice depending on your terms. Then you have the users who understand the facade of the cloud marketing machine and many prefer to own a perpetual license, we chime in because we are not in agreement with the whole rent your software idea and to pay money to be Adobe's Official Beta Testers via the cloud, which is marketed as cutting edge new features for cloud members.
Had your thread been something about a feature not working properly since illustrator CS2, or missing since AI8, it would more than likely went unnoticed by Adobe, even if submitted officially via the aptly named "wishform" (Appropriate name as thats what most of it ends up being, hopes and wishes that go unfulfilled or are fulfilled 14 years later like the Package Files feature). New features (regardless of however half backed they are) and marketing thats what make money, while missing features, and unfulfilled proper implementation of features, well they are just what they are for the most part, a dying request and or thread.
Cloud threads are of top echelon importance! I am however ready for some cloud dissipation actually and more sunshine being shed on long time perpetual license owners, not just the thought of a cloudy future, but rather some better attention to regular owners. Sadly as the weather people go, these requests and interests are much like weather forecasts, entirely inaccurate, or even worse being held in secrecy hoping we move on to cloudy days. Bring back the sunshine Adobe.
