How to trace the save menu in cs3 using javascript?

i can able to add menu items using the following syntex
app.scriptMenuActions.add("Script 1");
but i dont know how to trace the save menu, i want to do certain action while the user try to save their active document.
is it possible in script?

All of the scripts shown in fragmentary form in the Scripting Guide are included in the associated scripts archive on the InDesign Scripting home page.
The BeforePrint.jsx script shows how to cancel the display of the Print dialog box; I assume that the same techniques will work for the Save dialog box. No time to check right now.

Someone close to me(i believe) has hacked my id and purchade hundreds of dollars at itunes. How can i trace the device itself? Is it possible that i can trace the device by referring to the purchase's reference number?

I do not believe so. The sale is tied to your ID, which only you should know the password to. But, you can contact iTunes store support and speak with them regarding the unauthorized purchases.

How to avoid the "Save As" dialog when using "Close Button"

Hello All,
I am facing a problem while closing a pdf file.
I am using the following code to Open a pdf file.
CAcroApp objAcroApp = new AcroAppClass();
CAcroAVDoc objAVDoc = new AcroAVDoc();
objAVDoc.Open(C:\\new.pdf,Sample);
objAcroApp.Show();
After opening the document I am **** some changes (adding markup) in the file.
Then I am closing the file using the Close Button and in YES for the save confirmation dialog.
Here is the problem.
After giving YES, I am getting a Save As dialog with "Sample.pdf" in the FileName box.
I am getting this only in Acrobat 9.0.
When I tried the same in Acrobat 8.0 I didnt get Save As dialog. It saved with out "Save As" dialog in "C:\\new.pdf".
I need to give the same behavior in both Acrobat 9.0 and 8.0.
Please help me out to fix this issue. Thanks in advance.

In what you have posted, there is no reason it shouldn't work the same way in Acrobat 9. I would recommend that you submit your complete application to developer support.

How to ungroup the particular table in Indesign using javascript?

I have written a script for removing dotted lines at the end of text,which has presented inside the table.but this script is not working for the table that has grouped in InDesign.First I want to ungroup the particular table and remove dotted lines,then i need to group that table again.please help me if anyone has idea regarding this.

@Vimala Lakshmanan – to access tables inside text frames of grouped objects, you need not to ungroup.
You could use the Group objects and iterate through all page items of the group, single out the text frames and access their Texts object and their Tables object within.
By starting with a Group object (in the following snippet the group is selected):

var allPageItemsOfGroup = myGroup.allPageItems;
for(var n=0;n<allPageItemsOfGroup.length;n++){
    var myObject = allPageItemsOfGroup[n].getElements()[0];

This snippet also considers nested groups, anchored text frames and nested text frames.
It does not consider objects in not active states of MultiStateObjects.

Hi,
Normally, for the archiving or generation of the invoice document in PDF format is handled by maintaining the output records through VV31/VV32 with the relevant printer, storage mode ( 3- print and archive or 2- archive only ), no. of messages ( means no of copies ) in the communication method.
Then when you click the print button through VF03 in the print options pop-up you get a print at the physical printer and at the same time an archived copy ( PDF copy ) attached with the document.
So, please make sure the output records are fine to allow a PDF copy generated and then try to print and check in VF03 by entering into the billing document.

However, from the print preview you normally would not be allowed to save or print.

How to get the standard Menu of Query Designer into Web Template

Hi Experts,
is there a way on how to put the standard menu within Bex Query Designer (after executing a Query with the Query Designer you get into ad-hoc reporting with a menu including several functions like print, show as..., properties, etc) into an individual Bex Web Template?
Copy & Paste source code will not work I guess because of several javascript functions I don't have access to.

BEx queries are displayed on the web using standard web template 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN or some customized version base don your implementation.
You can either include the 0ANALYSIS_Pattern web template in your custom template or use Save as to create a new template with 0ANALYSIS_Pattern AS THE STARTING POINT.

Why do I have to File Save twice before the Save menu is grayed out?

Open a file into Photoshop CC
Add a Levels layer
Click File>Save
The Save menu is still available when you click File. Doing another File>Save make the Save menu become grayed out (like it should the first time).
System info:
Adobe Photoshop Version: 2014.2.1 20141014.r.257 2014/10/14:23:59:59 CL 987299 x64
Operating System: Mac OS 10.10.1 (the problem has occurred since Mac OS 10.8.x)

I have OSX 10.10.1 and CC 2014.
So I will open a PSD with an adjustment layer.
I turn off and on the "eyeball" in the layers panel. It counts as a change.
If you look at your document tab, you see a star at the end of the filename. It shows you made changes to the file.
File > Save would remove that star and File > Save does dim on my Macbook.
If you are seeing it twice, the Preferences file may be corrupt. I suggest a reset.
Macintosh - CMD-SHIFT-OPTION immediately after you double-click the PS icon.
If that doesn't work uninstall/reinstall CC 2014 and updates'

I have a req to work with a application,which show the salary slip,through ESS portal,but I am not able to trace out the webdynpro application,is is running behing this?

secondly req is to insert the logo in the salary slip,when we clk in the SALARY button,its display the slip as PDF,please tell how this PDF is attached inside the application,as if its a Z smart form,than i can insert the logo in it & can reinsert in the webdynpor application,as I think its a case of z smrtform which is called or linked on webdynpro.

Hi Vipin,
You can get the webdynpro application name from the portal link or you can ask portal team to get you the webdynpro
application name from the portal iView of salary slip application.
After that go to SICF tcode.
Search for the application name by entering the application name against the field SERVICE NAME and press F8 (execute).
The system will find you the SICF service for that webdynpro application. Select that service from the list.
Now click on menu GOTO->OBJECT DIRECTORY ENTRY and get the package name from the popup window.
Go to tcode SE80 and open that package.
Expand node Web dynpro->Web Dynpro Applicat. and find the application there.
Double click on the application.
Get the web dynpro component from the application parameter.
Open the Web Dynpro component in se80 and do the changes as required.

In SAP R/3 any authorization issue can be tracked down till authorization object level using SU53 tcode and ST01 tcode.
1 - I have a super user who has all the roles in Solution manager system and test user which I created with just 1 role Incident management role. But when I login with Super user ID I can see in tcode (WDY_APPLICATION - Incident Management ) I have 4 tabs (Overview,Messages,Reports and Queries) but when I execute the same tcode using test ID I can only see Overview and Messages tab. Report and Query tab were missing . Please advice on how to trace the missing authorizations using NWBC at object level? or how to solve this issue......
2 - How to add a Web dynpro Transaction code (example WDY_APPLICATION - Incident Management )while building a role in PFCG?

There is one option ,You can protect yor varient but not hide it.
To protect>QA32>Mydefault>Varient Attibute>click on protect varient.
If you select the field Protect variant, the variant can only be changed by the person who created it or last changed it.
I hope this can be one of the solution
