How to translate language by using unicode

I am trying to download data from internal table. The data is in japanish language,whenever i am downloading that data getting only #####. Please any one give me the suggestion to solve this problem.

How do I prove java uses unicode?

Hi!
I use a win98 computer in sweden with ansi cp1252.
i run java in jbuilder 5.0 with jdk 1.3.0.
I want to prove that java uses unicode and not the ascii tabell but if i try to write all char in a for loop for example i only get the ansi values. I want to prove that it uses unicode how can i do that?
I have a suggestion that if i print a chinese sign for example that proves that java can handle many diffrent ascii tabells. but how do i do that and where should i put the font that is needed and where do i get it?
Any suggestion for a solution ... plz message me :o)

The ASCI/ANSI character set is a subset of Unicode, so if you print all of them out you will just get the ASCII table. So, technically anything that uses Unicode uses the ASCII table. ;)
Anyway, you can use the escape character \uXXXX where the X's are hexadecimal values. If you use a value greater than 255 than it will give you somthing that isn't ANSI. \u2122 is the trademark symbol, for example.

When i use language for non-unicode [Russian] and i insert another language

when i use language for non-Unicode [Russian] and i insert another language. it transform to Russian.
i insert Thai language into MS access it transform to Russian type.i try to change anything,CharSet, sun.jnu.encoding.
but it doesn't have any effect.How can i insert Thai data into database and in database shown Thai data not another type.

I'm using webservices to update a picklist and when i try to insert a new value im getting the following error message:
'Mark for Translation' cannot be used in languages other then the primary.(SBL-ODS-50196).
Can anyone give me an help on this?

When i install those programs with silent install string it will install language i have select at windows regional options. I want thinkvantage software to be installed in english but now its finnish.
So how to set default language EN with silent install?

Data elment descriptions, documentation, text elements, etc. can be translated in the transaction se63.
Also you can translate almost each single object in the editor in the menue goto-translation.

I have a problem about language and fonts. in internet explorer if you can't read a font you just rigth click and use unicode but in firefox i do'nt know what shoud i do.? please help me.

and now, when i tried to check again my network preference below the airport tab is showing a message that
"my airport does not have an IP address and cannot connect to the internet!"
then after seconds it will goes back to the first message that
"airport has the self assigned IP address etc....."
i don't know whats going on now!
airport tab is not showing green color anyway! i'ts always in yellow!

It works fine with "Encoding.Unicode" but not with "Encoding.UTF8". The problem is that i can't use Unicode (UTF16) with oracle 8.
