How to translate the text of pust button

Hi friends,
Iam facing the following problem in module pool programming.
I have created a screen and in that i have apush button and i have given a tex for that push button as HEADER DETAILS.
i have done that in english language it working fine the text is appering as i gave
now the requirment is my end user is loggin into german language and now he wants the text of the push button to be appeard in german language
How can i do that.

Translation -> ABAP Objects -> Short texts, select object type S3 and either REPT or SCRT, probably REPT since it's a selection screen.

First I would like to thank you.
I have gone through the kb link. After goin through the same link I got a lot of doubts which I have explained earlier.
The steps which I did-->
1)I have exported the strings.
2)I copied all the text in the text file and translated the same into Japanese.
3)And I copied the same(Japanese) into a new text file(with same file name as of the VIs). But its giving error.
I dono what to do. It would be helpful if I get any vi or the procedure to translate the txt file or the strings which I should I translate.

Declare a variable in TOP Include with your button name.
Example : P_BUTTON(20) TYPE C.
Place button with name P_BUTTON on you screen. Do not forget to mark it as "Output Field". [ Double click on button, Attributes --> Program tab --> tick "Output Field".
In you PBO / PAI , whereever you want to change your text -
Assign value to P_BUTTON.
Example -
iF COND1..
P_BUTTON = 'EDIT'.
ELSEIF COND2.
P_BUTTON = 'DISPLAY'.
ENDIF.

How to translate the text dynamically in the program?

I have a requirement where I need to translate the text dynamically in the program based on the Language Key retrieved.
Let's say that the Login language is 'EN' and in the logic has retrieved the language 'IT'(based on some conditions). I have to transate the text(which is maintained using the text elements) to ITALIAN(IT) Language and send the same as an email.
Could you please tell me if any Function Module is available in SAP which translates the text Dynamically in the program. or is there any other way to translate the text dynamically in the program.

you could use SET LOCALE LANGUAGE myLanguage - so you can switch to the desired language and all texts will selected from that language.

On your alv model, first call if_salv_wd_function_settings~get_function( ID = <your ID> ). This will return you a reference of cl_salv_wd_function. If your function uses a button editor, do the following:
data:
lr_button type ref to CL_SALV_WD_FE_BUTTON,
lr_function type ref to cl_salv_wd_function.
lr_function = l_alv_model->if_salv_wd_function_settings~get_function( ID = <your ID> ).
lr_button ?= lr_function->get_editor( ).
lr_button->set_text( ).
I have not tried this, but it should work.

You mean XL is used as a source here for OBIEE. Whatever is the source you need to implement OBIEE Multilingual functionality. Remember there are four types of Multilingual Support in OBIEE:
- presentation services like Answers, Dashboard links and all
- Catalog like Report Name, Dashboard Names and all
- RPD Externalize Strings to see the subject area in required language
- Data where the reports generated will have data stored in different languages in an extended dimension table.
You require the 4th type here so you need to maintain a extended dimension table in DB which is used in RPD to be picked up by BI server based on language selected(language id)/WEBLANGUAGE system variable

Here is the problematic:
1° How can i change the color of the text on a button in Roll Over or Click state (Cs5.5)
- I've many button in a doc im creating
- the color of the buttons is white with black stoke & black text
- in roll over state i want them to inverse the color coding (the text white & bottom black)
- currently the text becomes invisible as black on black cant be seen (ive stroked it white but that looks ugly)
- i would just like to know if there is a function made for this?
My other questions:
2° Ive a presentation on which Ive created buttons which tigger pop-up animations
- i have 5 buttons which trigger animations
- the viewer can chose to Click on any of the buttons randomly
- the problem is once the animation is open how can it be close... either:
a) by it self after "40" seconds
b) when ther viewer clicks another button
3° Ive created buttons linking pages..
- "go to page xxx"
- when i do a preview and click on the buttons the links dont take me to the right pages
- is that normal? (maybe in preview its suppose to be like that)
4° I would like to intergrate YouTube videos in the presentation so they play inside the docment.. when i tried.. it said the 'link isnt a flash video'
- what should i do?
5° Once i export it into Swf. how how can i visualize it? or put it online?

You should setup Object Styles - these can also include Paragarph Styles that can be triggered when the Style is selected.

Does it work properly when you export it to the finished file?

InDesign won't link directly to youtube videos. I think your best bet would be to use Downloader to download the video and embed them directly in Indesign.
5° Once i export it into Swf. how how can i visualize it? or put it online?

You can look up how to embed a SWF file into your HTML - but it depends what you mean by "online" there's a dozen ways to get a file "online".

How to get the 'text' property value of a button in coding?

I'm using 10 buttons all are having common action('click'). when i click a button the 'text' value of the button should pass to a function.So the action is same but the passed value will be the 'text' value of the corresponding button. I don't know how to get the 'text' property of a button in coding. Kindly help me to solve this problem.

How to clear the text in the Text Editor

I created a Text editor and also i am having language field in the screen.
whenever i change the language auomatically the text has to change when the text exists for that
language.
this is working fine, but when the Text exist , the text editor should be blank.
But it is carrying the Previous editor text itself into it .
How to clear the text in the Editor.

You canr use text modules in script. You have to use standard texts .
Standard text are maintained in SO10 transaction.
you can create translation text for other languages also . So based on logon language it will print translation text.
go to SO10
give textname it say Ztextname id as ST and language as EN
say create, then you will get editor there maintain your text and save it . then come back . Now change language (say for german DE) say create and eneter translation text and save it.
so now you have created a text called ztextname which you can use in your script.
Inorder to insert the texts in your script do as below
go to any window editor and select path
Insert->texts->symbols->standard symbols
then you will get popup in which you have to mention all the parameters that you have created earlier.
after inserting just change language EN to sy-langu

A PDF usually consists of one to an indefinite number of clipping masks inside each other.
You need to be very carefull with selecting stuff.
So you need to read the manual on how to select stuff and on the basics of Illustrator.
On top of that: because of the complex hierarchy of PDF files, it is kind of difficult to help you without seeing anything.
