How to transport proxy  object  abap part

Hi ,
I am working with one outbound proxy . The proxy was working fine in production ,now one requirement came in which we have to add one extra field to Proxy .field has been added in message type  and proxy was generated in respective ABAP box
abap coding every thing was done and it worked fine in Dev . I transported the PI part ( DT,MT,MI and MM ) .
However I am not sure how to transport  the ABAP proxy in ECC from dev to prod .
Can you kindly please tell me all steps I tried to search in SDN but getting confused in what object I have to transport and how from ECC .
Regards,
Saurabh

Hi Sarvesh ,
Thanks a lot for all your reply .
It partially worked as I created the transport with proxy object but not toatally as all my objects are not included in the transport .
when I am doublicking the My proxy interface and then going in used object TAB then I am able to see the structures .
Abap team wants to include these structure in the transport .
Actually the code has already been transported and it is throwing the dump value as it is unable to find the new field as the new strucutre is not transported .
Should I tell Abap team to manually make some  random change in the str now and save them again so that when I re generate proxy then it will be added to transport.

Saurabh

  • How to transport the object in XI?

    Hi friends,
Anybody can give me the idea or any document for transporting the objects in XI from Development system to Quality system. As per my knowledge we can transport using File and CMS, but i don't have clear idea. Anybody explain me clearly or provide me any document?

    Hi,
There are two ways to Transport XI objects-
    1) File Import/Export
    2) CMS
CMS is somewhat standard way to do. Becuase you can track the objects. But for this you need to install the CMS separately.
just go thru these quick links-

    Hi,
Yes you can transport XI objects either by CMS or by file export.
You can goto Tools--> Export objects and it will be exported as .tpz file. And you can palce the same in the repository_server/import and directory_server/import directory and import it in your QA system
    Thanks,

  • How we transport developed objects from development server to qualityserver

    Hi All,
pls send me navigational steps for transporting the objects.

    Hi,
In transport connection in RSA1, you can capture the objects in various transport request's. Once you capture all the necessary objects, you can release these requests in SE09.
The sequence and logical grouping of the objects to be captured as follow...
    Sequence No Objects in Request
    1 Package(DEVC), InfoArea(AREA), Application Component(APCO)
    2 Keyfigure Catalog(IOBC), Keyfigures(IOBJ), Units(IOBJ)
    3 Characteristic Catalog(IOBC), Characteristic Infoobjects(IOBJ)
4 Infosources (ISCS, ISTD, ISMP, ISTS, ISFS, ROUT) and Generic Data Sources(DataSource Active Version(OSOA), ISMP, ISTS,DataSource Replica( ISFS)  and Tables(TABL))
    5 Infoproviders(ODS(ODSO), Cube(CUBE), Infoset(ISET))
    6 Update Rules(UPDR, ROUT)
    7 Infopackages(ISIP)
    8 Queries(ELEM)
    9 Webtemplates(TMPL, BLTM, BPTM)

  • How to transport MIME object in webdynpro ABAP from DEV TO QA

    Hi,
I have enhaced a std WDA component. In this enhacement I have added one image as an mime object along with some other changes , all the changes have been moved from dev to qa except this mime object.
Infact I have deleted and reimported and re transported the mime object but still to failed this image from dev to qa.
Please provide me ur valuable inputs asap as this is high priority issue.
    Pooja

By going into mime repository and then right clicking ont eh mimeobject and selecting write transport entry form the context menu
and creating a new request for the transport.
However i guess you must have followed this approach only.
by the way where is the mime stored. is it in the same standard comp folder.
store it somewhere else in some non=-standard comp or some public folder and then try to transport.

    Hi,
    Certainly, I can explain.
    1. Go to transaction RSA1
    2. Click 'Transport Connection' pane on left side of screen
    3. Click 'Object Types'
    4. Make sure that you have selected 'Only necessary objects' in 'Grouping' drop down menu.
    5. Select for example DataStore Object and select your DSO
    6. Click 'Transfer Selections'
    7. Click 'Transport Objects' (assign to a package - some other BW guys will know which one)
    8. Give a description and click ok (a traffic light will tell you if objects are locked in other transports)
    9. Go to transaction se01 and release the transport
    10. If there is automatic import to test system, see the transport log.
    11. If there isn't automatic import, please ask basis guys to transport.

  • Transporting an object

    Hi Experts,
How to transport an object for example org model or Business Partner from development Server to Production Server.
Please provide me with some flow.
    Thank you

    Hi,
In SAP CRM we have 3 types of data.
    1. Master data like business partner, products etc
    2. Transactional data like sales order, service order etc
    3. Configuration data like SPRO config as condition types, transaction types etc
Out of these only no 3 i.e. configuration data can be transported. Also we can transport the application programs like RICEFW objects.

  • Transporting ABAP proxy objects from one environment to another

    Hi
I have  ABAP client proxy objects ( classes in ECC 5.0 and the corresponding XI message interfaces on the XI server ) - in my development environment.
I need to move the ABAP proxy objects to the Qa environment. Two ways of doing this come to my mind.
    1) Move the proxy classes within the ECC 5.0 Dev --> QA using normal transport organizer in ABAP workbench. Parallely , move the XI SCVs - from dev to QA ( export/import ). After both are done, go to QA environment, setup basic ECC5.0 <-> XI connection and check whether my ABAP proxies work.
    2) As an alternate approach to no.1, move only the XI based SCVs from Dev -->QA , go to ECC 5.0 QA environment
and regenerate the ABAP proxies there using SPROXY - perhaps this will not be allowed in the QA environment - since the client will not be setup for any object changes/creation.
Any thoughts/links/weblogs on the above is appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your time.

    Hi Kartik,
We recently moved our outbound proxies from dev to QA and we followed the first approach and we did not face any issues with the approach.
Also SAP suugests the same approach...
"You create proxy objects in the development system by using the proxy generation functions. They are transported and shipped by using the tools in the development system. There are separate tools in the Integration Repository (see also: Software Logistics for XI Objects)."

  • How to create a proxy object for MOSS integration via WebDynpro For ABAP

    Hello all,
I have a question about the creation of an ABAP proxy class in SE80.
    When i follow this link:
i see on page 7 that there is: a tab under create called Enterprise Service/ Web Service with under this tab a tab called proxy object.
When i do this in my SE80 i only see Enterprise Service and not proxy object.
    Screenshot
    [http://picasaweb.google.be/panneels.robin/SAPScreens#5377623235095894546]
Is there a extra configuration or add-on needed to do this action? Or is there a work-arround for this?
Because we need this for abap web dynpro for communication with MOSS.
Thanks in advance for all your help.

    Hi James,
If you like to use SAP web dispatcher as a solution for load balancing portal application, you no need to create system object under systems..
You have to install web dispatcher as separate instance where you need to configure portal apps into it..
Configure web dispatcher like to hit the admin port, use http://<webdisp-server>:<adminport>/sap/admin
For normal portal access, use http://<friendly URL>/irj/portal
The good news is that the webdispatcher knows that the portal supports SSL
Another advantage of this config, is the webdisp, will just replace the apache redirect server. Users will access mycompany.com, without any port number, since we are redirecting 80 to the backend j2ee. Also, https should work like in the normal world.
    Profile will be like below...
    SAPSYSTEMNAME = WEB
    SAPSYSTEM = 00
    INSTANCE_NAME = W00
    DIR_CT_RUN = $(DIR_EXE_ROOT)/run
    DIR_EXECUTABLE = $(DIR_CT_RUN)
    Accesssability of Message Server
    Message Server Parameters ##########
NOTE: The "ms/http_port" must match the profile on the Central Instance
    rdisp/mshost = <FQDN of portal CI Host>
    ms/http_port = <Ms port of portal>
    SAP Web Dispatcher Ports
    #icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=81$$
    icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=80, TIMEOUT=3600, EXTBIND=1 (some OS will not allow to bind ports <1024)
    Admin port details
    icm/server_port_1 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=3200
    #, EXTBIND=1
    icm/HTTP/admin_0 =
    PREFIX=/sap/admin,DOCROOT=./admin,PORT=3200,AUTHFILE=/usr/sap/WEB/SYS/global/security/data/icmauth.txt
    SSL
    icm/HTTP/redirect_0 = PREFIX=/ , TO=http://<friendly URL name>/irj/portal
    WebAS Message Server Parameters
    rdisp/TRACE = 1
    icm/trace_secured_data = 1

  • Client Proxy : How to Call Outbound Generated Proxy in ABAP report ?

    Dear SDNrs.
I have already created a  Scenario for Client/ Outbound Proxy in XI .
I have already Generated Client/ Outbound Proxy in ECC .
Now Question is How to call this generated Proxy in report ?
Please Guide ..... I dont have any idea ...
    1. before calling any proxy in report what information needs to collect from generated Proxy ?
    2. How to call this generated Proxy in report ?
    Regards
    Prabhat Sharma.

    Hi Prabhat
You have to use your knowledge about ABAP OO for this.
It's simple. You created your Proxy Object throught SPROXY transaction, right? Now, you have to instance your class (information avaliable in  SPROXY-> Proxy Objetc -> Class Name) and to use the method displayed there.
    Follow an example:
    DATA: wa_backfeed      TYPE zibrsapglbackfeed_sapgl,
               wa_output            TYPE zibrsapglrequest,
               lo_clientproxy       TYPE REF TO zibrco_sapgl_out,
               lo_sys_exception TYPE REF TO cx_ai_system_fault.
      TRY.
          CREATE OBJECT lo_clientproxy.
          CALL METHOD lo_clientproxy->sapgl_out
            EXPORTING
              output = wa_output.
        CATCH cx_ai_system_fault INTO lo_sys_exception.
                   lo_sys_exception->if_message~get_text( ).
      ENDTRY.

  • How to transport an ABAP Program

I have an ABAP Program Z_CSFILE_SYSTEMCMD which I want to put in a transport request. Jeevan and I could not figure  out how to do that.
Also this  ABAP program uses two program variants:
    XCS_PARM_CLEAN and XCS_PARM_PREP
If they are not automatically included with ABAP Program transport, how to transport the?
    Thanks a lot,

    Hi
you can transport the existing program through version management
    Step 1
go to se38. give the program name Z_CSFILE_SYSTEMCMD press change.
    Step 2
Change the program by introdusing space in the program(make sure the program is not effected)
    Step3
after do so save the program . go to utilities on the top of the menu --- version management .
now after saving you can see Modified version there . again go back and activate the program.
    Step4
after activating the program go to utilities on the top of the menu --- version management .
now you can see the the active version of the program and below that you can see the versions (eg version 1, 2 , 3 and so on with the request been genrated next to it)
    Step 5
Copy the request for example BD1K900578
    Step6
go to SE09 create a request (F6) give the name of the request name (create a work bench request)
    Step7
once the a new request created.
go to SE09 and and give the user name and display. you will get a new screen where no objects are added.
    Step8
Place the curser on the new request name -> include CNTRL+F11->Paste the request name BD1K900578 (Object list from the request) and press enter.
    Step9
Refresh it now you can find program  Z_CSFILE_SYSTEMCMD included in the request.
    Step10
Relese the request and import the same to Quality.
Follow the same procedure for the rest of the varients XCS_PARM_CLEAN and XCS_PARM_PREP or varients can be created in their respective Servers
    hope this helps
