my iphone gone blank with apple logo, tried to reset it but didnt work some one advice me to try a recovery mode. can some one help me to explain how to do recovery mode funtion

Recovery mode as explained in that article may not apply to your situation.
1. Update to latest iTunes - 10.3.1
2. Connect phone to a USB port directly on the computer, not an external hub
3. Press both the home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo reappears, then continue pressing the home button alone until iTunes detects the phone in recovery mode.
4. Follow the prompts to restore.
Hopefully, you've been frequently backing up and syncing your phone with this computer, so you won't lose your data. Also, if the phone was jailbroken or hacked to downgrade the iOS, this may not work and your phone is bricked. It won't work if there is hardware damage.

Frank, thanks for the help. That Microsoft article is the one I read yesterday morning. I again just now went into the BIOS as follows: Security, System Security-Data Execution Prevention AND Virtualization Technology were both enabled. So I saved changes and exited. My computer is running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

I downloaded and installed the Windows XP Mode. The

You could try a hard reset
- hold the home button and the sleep/wake button down at the same time
- the phone will turn off, when the apple logo appears release both buttons
More than likely after this you will still be in recovery mode. If so then you would need to restore the phone through itunes on a pc/mac.

Thanks. I've tried this and apparently the template I'm using is one of those where it doesn't work. I've tried dragging it as well as cutting a pasting but it always travels back to the end of the book. Maybe I can try changing the template temporarily, move the preface page, and then convert back to the original template. I'll experiment a little.

The Time Machines Backup is formated as Mac OS Extended (Case Sensitive, Journaled), my mac is formated as Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
The names on the file are all Uppercase
When I try to copy the Aperture file, it copies about 70% of the file (it's about 33GB in size), and halfway through I get this error.
I'm able to copy 99.99% of all of the images if I open the Aperture Folder using the "show package contents" under the backups using finder (Time Machine Backups>Backups.backupdb>CQ Macbook Air>2012-04-30-070933>HD.....>Pictures>Aperture Library). The only file I can't copy is that picture, which I'm totally ok with deleting, but Finder won't delete it for me. If nothing else works, I could copy the individual masters and re-create the folders, however I'd hate to do this as I would have to go through 10,000+ pics

Trash the preference files while application is NOT Running.
Easiest way to find out if this is the problem is by:
• Create a new User-Account
• Log out of Your old one and into this
• Re-try iMovie
If it now works OK - then 99.9% the problem is iMovie pref. file that needs to be trashed.

Hi, I just got a MSI R9 290... with Afterburner installed. This card has 3 preset modes that are supposed to be easy to switch between OC Mode 1007Mhz, Gaming 974Mhz, Silent 947Mhz... How do I switch between modes? I just tried to up the MHz in Afterburner and must have done something wrong, becuase I froze everything instalntly and had to reboot. You need the Gaming APP for switching (not Afterburner): http://download.msi.com/uti_exe/gamingApp.zip
Afterburner is for manual overclocking (for advanced users) if not using the modes.
