How to Update PI Message status from 012 to 014

Hi Gurus,
We faced an issue where the messages were stuck in PI Inbound queue (SMQ2). We accedentally reorganized the queues, which resulted the messages deleted from queue and moved to status schedul for outbound processing (012). And the probelm is we are not able to restart these messages. We learnt that the only option is to cancel these mesages and resend the messages from sender system.
My question is :
Is there any method to push these messages back to the inbound queues and have PI pick them for further processing?
OR
Is ther a way that the message status can be updated from 012 to 014 (any status where Restart is possible), so that we can re-process the data?

My question might be stupid, but I need you help.
I would like to know how can I update the message status what we see while using trasaction SXMB_MONI . The Scenrio is, I have a Custom Interface program build on the Abap Proxy interface method called EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS.
If I am not wrong, transaction SXMB_MONI is on the XI system and also on the SAP Application system. ( But I am not sure in what way the same transaction differ in two systems )
My issue is, when I receive the xml data into a structure in abap proxy, I am doing some validation on the received message data. If I found some error in the data , then I need to update the Message status of the SXMB_MONI to ERROR flag. How to implement this ? I have not done one before. And I am not sure, if any exception like error message is raised, will it stop the proxy from processing further and update the Message Status and this can be viewed using SXMP_MONI in the SAP application system to be ERROR flag?
Or is there a BAPI or function module to handle this ?

I am not sure If I had understood you reply. But Would need your help to have a bit more insight to your answer. I am not completely into XI , but I am from ABAP side.
At the R/3 side , Abap Proxy object geneted has the INTERFACE and its associated METHOD, in which I am building my own abap code to do any validation on incomming data. But If I want to Raise a Exception, I understand that this Expection has to be first defined .
But do I have to define a new Z Expection class or can I just add a exception in the Proxy -Interface-method.
I have not understood this process.
All I need to do is, if I find any incomming data error , during my validation at the R/3 side, I need to stop the METHOD processing ( by any means ) and Update the Message Status flag show in SXMB_MONI to Error .
What is the trigger that i can implement in myown code that will update the Message status to Error , from R/3 perspective of using SXMB_MONI.

1. Start SQL Server in single user mode.
2. Check database status: there i noticed that it was normal
3. Restart SQL Server in multi-user mode
4. Check database status: normal
5. Check my data: ok

You should have wait for an while or atleaset you need to check in the sql errorlog, what phases it is or if any issues persists that shows in the errorlog messages.
also you would have been used sys.databases, to seewhat's the value for state_desc for your database.

Exchange: forward/reply on iPad does not update desktop message status

When one replies to or forwards a message through Apple Mail, the original message gets a little symbol (a curvy or straight arrow) to show that it has been replied to or forwarded.
However, when replying through iPad or iPhone on an Exchange account, the message status is not updated on the desktop. Replies sent via iPad on a standard IMAP account correctly update the message status however.
Any ideas why it does not work for Exchange?

Oh well, I answered the question myself. The reason (although since not one other person seems to have noticed this issue except me, nobody will really care ) is that ActiveSync on the iPhone doesn't update the message status on the server.

i realised i have this 200mb of messages this morning & tried deleting my messages but it started to hang half way and my phone gets very hot. thn i do pressed my lock & home button to reset the phone, thn it cool atfer awhile but i got all my messges back lol..
thn i found out, after deleting all the unwanted messages, sync to itunes, thn all the messages is gone for good. hope it helps?

I created an Event Handler via SAP 4.7 Purchase Order.
I now need to update this same Event Handler with a control parameter from SAP 6.0.
I was surprised to see that when I updated the Purchase Order in 6.0, EM created a new Event Handler!
Guess I'm missing something obvious...

Yes it's the same PO in 4.7 and 6.0. We implemented (upgraded) the ERP system to 6.0. The Event Handler was orginally created from 4.7, but now we need to update it from 6.0.
So the Event Handler (tracking id, control parms, EE etc) can only be updated from the logical system the Eh was created in (4.7), and I can only send Event Messages (Events) from 6.0. Correct?
Any thought about how to approach this situation and any future upgrades? Maybe I need to write a conversion program...

Hi,
You can terminate. Please look into the menu given by DPMON carefully. You can kill the process using the k option.
Otherwise you can also kill the process kill -9 <PID of the process>.
Please do not terminate update and ENQ work process. This may lead to data loss. If the condition can not be control by killing some processes and again all the WPs are occupied. I recommend SAP system restart.
Restart will ensure that all necessary roll backs happen and no data loss.

I currently have installed on my E71 Symbian 200.21.118 RM346 and because my telephony provider recomendation I have to update to 300.21.012.
If I use NSU page, it mention the lastest version is 300.21.012 which is ok, but when I tried to update the Symbian I received from NOKIA Software Updater the version 400.21.013.
How can I choose the 300.21.012 instead of 400.21.013?
Please provide step by step process.

This is what I found :-
There are a couple of ways to approach this.
1) load the excel spreadsheet into the database "as is". You can use interMedia
text to convert the .xls file into a .htm file (HTML) or use iFS (see

more info on that) to parse it as well. InterMedia text will convert your XLS
spreadsheet into a big HTML table (easy to parse out what you need at that
point)
2) Using OLE automation, a program you write can interact with Excel, request
data from a spreadsheet, and insert it. Oracle Forms is capable of doing this
for example as is other languages environments. In this fashion, you can remove
the "manual" and "sqlldr" parts -- your program can automatically insert the
data.
3) You can write a VB script that uses ODBC or Oracle Objects for OLE (OO4O) in
Excel. This VB script would be able to put selected data from the spreadsheet
into the database. We would recommend OO4O. It provides an In-Process COM
Automation Server that provides a set of COM Automation interfaces/objects for
connecting to Oracle database servers, executing queries and managing the

You can do it via OBA5 transaction; enter the application code, and put an entry for the message setting the flag to warning. Keep in mind, that not for every message it could be done.
