How to use a mysql built-in function with dataprovider

hi.
I want to use a mysql built-in function, for example, MD5() on a column when updating a table with dataprovider.
Something like this doesn't work:
MyDataProviderOne.setValue("tablename.field_name", "MD5('some text')");
How should it be done?

I want to use the simulate signal as the input. First, i downsample the input with the downsampler.vi. Then I want to feed the output of the downsampled signal to the discrete unit delay block and display the delayed signal on the graph.

Hi nozombie,
In your VI the Delay VI only delays the measurment for one interation of your simulation loop. What are the results that you hope to see?

How to use mac's full screen functionality with Adobe acrobat XI?

I recently switched to mac, so font have much experience with this.
My adobe reader is missing mac's full screen functionality (the two arrows on right that make mac fullscreen).
so, if i have three pdfs open, i cannot switch between them using the 4 finger swipe..
Please note that this is different from the adobe functionality (command + L) which allows it to become fullscreen, but it still occupies the desktop and so, i cannot swipe between different pdfs.

Nope that is just the way it is with Mac OS X and the way Apple has setup the dual screen system.

How to use database look up table function in xsl mapping

Can anybody tell me how to use database look up table function while mapping xsl between 2 nodes.
I have an XML file coming in and depending on one of XML elements we need to decide which further path to take. But, using this XML element, we need to query database table, get metadata and accordingly take appropriate path. I have written lookup function which returns metadata value.
Now, the issue is how do I pass the XML element valu as input to look up function? When I tried to drag it to the input node of lookup function, it throws an error like "Maximum number of parameters exceeded"

If the lookup table is always going to remain the same (e.g. a character generator or something similar) you can place the values in a 2D array constant on your diagram, with the input value as one column, the equivalent as the other. When you need to perform the lookup you use an index array to return all the values in the "input column", search it using "search 1D array" and use the resulting index number to index the other column's data. If the values may change, then it would probably be best to load an array control with your equivalent values from a file.

Hi,
To access the MIDI ports you will need to call the Windows SDK. To send MIDI commands is relatively easy, here is an example that shows you how to send data to a MIDI controller or keyboard.
As far as input goes, this is the hard part. There are a series of functions that you need to call to open up the device, set some buffers and and possibly a callback to get notifications on the incoming data.
Reading MIDI data will not be an easy task, your best bet will be to implement this in a DLL and call that DLL in LabVIEW, there should be some code available o the web.

The underline code is using exec to call the generated procedure. But this method cannot work. Any suggestion? thanks again!

Getting Data From MySQL Database using Dreamweaver CS4 Built In Functions

Hi,
I am really in need of some help if you don't mind.
I basically have a website with user regsitration system etc and so on.
I basically connected to my Data Base in Dreamweaver CS4 and now want to use the tools in Dremweaver CS4 to display Data from database.
Problem is i see the tools but not really sure how i use them. I see on Data bar all the tools to view, update delete records etc.
I basically created a page where i want to display all the records in the DB. I done this using dynamic data selecting what fields to display etc and 15 records per page.
When i view the page in localhost thou it is only showing 1 record althou i have like 5 users in my test db.
So if anyone can really tell me how i go about displaying data from db that be great. When i learn how to do that i probably will understand and learn how to update records etc.

I'm trying to use to_date() function with quarter format. How do I specify the format?
For example to convert '2002 quarter 1' using the to_date function.
I tried to_date('20021', 'YYYYQ'), and I got ORA-01820 cannot appear in date input format.

You cannot use Q when inputting data, only when retrieving data. When inputting, you must enter a valid date. Oracle has to store a date and if you just enter a quarter, it can't figure out what date to store. See the examples below:
SQL> -- test table:
SQL> CREATE TABLE test_table
2    (test_date DATE)
3 /
Table created.
SQL> -- the wrong way to input:
SQL> INSERT INTO test_table (test_date)
2 VALUES (TO_DATE ('2002-1', 'YYYY-Q'))

I am new to JSP and servlets
Still I am devloping a website in JSP. I am not mixing JSP with servlets, but I do create Java files for bean, logic and database works.
I try to keep the hard coding part out of JSP.
I dont how to use both JSP and Servlets in combination.
Hence If needed I write some functions in JSP.

Looks like the document is a little bit outdated.
Audit Log is configured in System Setup activity under Maintenance->System Configuration. There is an Audit Log tab where you can set values Off, All or Current for various object.

If you have more than one keyboard active, you may be using a different one than you want. Use the "globe" key to make sure your virtual keyboard is set to Japanese Romaji or Japanese Kana. Which one do you use?
On the hardware keyboard, use apple/command plus space to switch between different keyboard layouts which may be active.
