How to use a ring to select axes of an xy graph

Hello,
I'm a relatively new user to Labview and so far have found it comepletely stupifying. I am trying to use drop down menus (ring) to select the axes of an xy-graph. I'm using the Daq Assistant to gather my signal which consist of three parts (load, displacement, strain). I would like the ability to plot any of the inputs against eachother as well as in time simply by changing the value of the ring. Thus far I have the ability to plot the signals against eachother using indexed arrays, but not with time. When I look at the data from my index array, there is no time stamp...Is there any way to do this? It's probably a simple task, but I'm sick of flipping through menus of icons to find it. Here is a screen shot of what I'm hung up on except instead of the signal simulation I have a DAQ assistant.

You removed all of the timestamps by your conversion of the dynamic data to a 2D dbl array. The 2D dbl array is just the Y arrays of your acquisition. If you don't want to use the dynamic data, then convert it to a 1D Waveform array. The waveform data type is a special cluster that contains the Y array, t0, and dt. The dynamic data type has this information as well.

You can check this and change your code by taking this as an example. I just noted down with simple one input and return as collection type
and how to use/call it in select statement.

I want to use Case when in Select qry, my situation is like this

If we give like this it gives an error.
Please help me, how to use or handle in select qry itself.

this is not a way to select data from the DB tables.
first get all the data from the DB tables then u have to do SUM Ups .

Using menu ring to select data out of database with SQL

I have a database setup with two tables and six columns of data. One of the columns contains an array of data. I would like to be able to read the data out with two ring controls. One ring to select the table and the other to select certain rows of data based on the value in one row. I want the data charts to update automatically inside a loop when the ring values are changed. I started by modifying the playback(fetching) example. The problem is when I change the menu item, I am not closing the first connection before opening a new one. Should I be using the running stored procedures with parameters method to accomplish this task?? I suppose all of the data could be read and then sorted out of the result.

There are two possible solutions. If you are using LabVIEW 6.0.x, then you will need to put a while loop around all of your program and poll to see if the values of the ring controls have changed (can be done with a shift register). If nothing has changed, then have a case structure that does nothing. If the values have changed, then get the new data.
If you are using LabVIEW 6.1, then you can check for a value changed event on the ring controls. Everything else from the 6.0.x version from above would be the same. This eliminates the polling which reduces processor use.

and if i take this gt_sagmeld to another temp table and i find abt 10 lakh uniques guid_pobj
similary 6 lakh guid_mobj so the next slect is hanpering because of this
not COMING TO OUR POINT IF I SORT ONLY BY OUR PRIMARY KEYS NOT TAKING INTO ACCOUNT TEH GUID_POBJ AND GUID_MOBJ
THE ENTRIES ARE VERY LESS BUT IF I TAKE INOT ACCCOUNT IN GT_SAGMELD THE ENTRIES ARE ABT 20 LAKH

How to use SET ID in select statement of SQ02

I have a infoset, where for one of my Zfield, i have writen a select statement in order to get my ouput.
if aufk-aufnr = 'XYZ'.
select sum( FKBTR ) from fmifiit into zfmifiit
where fikrs = aufk-kokrs
and fipex IN capex
and wrttp NE '51'.
endif.
For the above statement, i have created (with 10 single values, table name FMCI, field name FIPEX) a SET id named CAPEX and used with IN operator.
But when i generating the infoset i am getting error like below
The IN operator with "CAPEX" is followed neither by an internal table nor by a value list
I was using IN opeartor for set ids during validation / substitutions, where if i have to validate multiple single values.
What to do here?

We are in Abap here, not in a Customizing screen
You have to convert the set to a selection table in an ABAP coding before using it in a SELECT statement.
(Check FM like G_SET_TREE_IMPORT to import definition of set (values and intervals) and map them to a select-table, or ask a developper to perform it, look at G_SET_TREE_IMPORT -> select statement)

Is there a way to combine these statements to speed up performance?
I'm thinking there should be a way to select all the rows in the last tens days, and then just from those results, run another select to get the results for the last 2, 3, or 5 days using subselects in some way. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You have to put the rows into a datatable. It is usually best if your original source is a datatable. The filter the original datatable. The selected rows of the datagrid are the same row numbers in the source datatable.

How to use anonymous block in select statement

I have one requirement which i can resolve using anonymous block in plsql. But i want implement it in select query only.
Database: Oracle 11.2.0
select count(*) from emp where name='xyz' and sal=50
if count(*)>0
then
select dept,sector from emp where name='xyz' and sal=50
here i dont have any primary key.
How can i achieve above using sql query not plsql. Here is one sloution which i have got but its not satisfying above requiremnt as i dont have any primary key columns
select toll_number from toll_details
where toll_id =(select toll_id from toll_details where toll_new_id='5263655214' group by toll_id having count(*)>0)
here toll_id is primary key, so used group by. But how to do this in my above requirement as i dont have primary key.

I want know how to use the ring tones I made on my i-phone

I have a ring tone app. I used it to create some 15 second ring tones from the songs on my i-phone (3Gs). I emailed the ring tones from the app to my email account and then I added them onto my i-tunes in the ringtone section. I can not figure out how to take the ringtone and make it work on my phone. I've synced my phone and I don't see them being added. Can someone give me the steps to take after I have the ring tones saved to my library in i-Tunes? Thank you!

How to use xpath function to select some particular nodes

i think you can get those details , have a look at program BCCIIXMLT1, i think this program will give you some idea to handle * manage xml docs.
along with that program ...you need to put filter
*---creating filers.
filter = document->create_filter_name( name = 'Company' ).
iterator = document->create_iterator_filtered( filter ).
main_node = document.
*---processing document.
perform print_node using main_node p_flag.

How to use Magic Wand to select in Active Artboard only - CS5

I've run into a problem that I would think already has a solution. I have a layout with 7 artboards, each a variation on a logo design. I want to select a specific color, but only in the active artboard. The Magic Wand would seem to be the right choice, but I see no way of specifying this. Every attempt I make, the color is selected in every artboard that it exists. I know that Select All can narrow its scope to the active artboard by adding the option key to the command but see no equivalent for the Magic Wand. Am I missing something or is Illustrator missing the ability?

Use locking or hiding to make you selection.
Draw a frame around the elements on one artbaord
Select >> Inverse
Object >> Lock
(use your magic wand and make your change)
Object unlock all

For the a particular variant this select query gives a dump.here matnr and werks have been taken as unique combination for table it_mat_lifnr. i have tried with delete adjacent duplicates but still it is not working.can you suggest me with a possible solution. iam providing you with the part of code which gives error
select matnr werks lifnr ebeln
from eord
into table it_mat_lifnr
for all entries in it_mat
where matnr = it_mat-matnr and
          werks = it_mat-werks and
          vdatu <= sy-datum and
          bdatu >= sy-datum and
         flifn = 'X' or febel = 'X'.

       You can use distinct or delete adjacent duplicate from internal table.
For ex.,
select distinct kunnr into table it_kna1 from kna1 where kunnr in s_kunnr.
or
select kunnr into table it_kna1 from kna1 where kunnr in s_kunnr.
sort it_kna1 by kunnr.
delete adjacent duplicates from it_kna1.
