How to use an available field more than once to define an unique field?

At the table level in the console you can indicate various combinations of fields that must be unique either individually or in combination. However, you can assign an available field only once, individually or in combination. For our data model it is a functional requirement that any available field can be used in more than one combination to define an unique combination.
Example separate unique combinations:
combination of: postal code + house number
combination of: city + street + house number
We use "house number" twice.
Is it possible to do this in MDM and how?

Hi Heleen,
If you want to use Source field twice then you an option called Clone Field in MDM Import Manager.
Follow these steps:
Step1. In Import manager select the source table.
Step2. Right click on the required field and Select Clone Field house number in your case.

How to use same page fragment more than once in a page. I have a complex page fragment which has lots of Bindings (Binding Property set with backingBean variables).
I want to use the same page fragment multiple times on the same page with different tabs.
I want different ApplicationModule Instance for the page fragment in different tabs.
So I have created a Bounded Taskflow with pagefragments which has this complex pagefragment.
I've dragged the taskflow to page and created regions.
I'm able to execute the page successfully when I have only one region but fails if I have region more than once in the page.
Can anyone help me how to resolve this issue.
Web User Interface Developer's Guide for Oracle Application Development Framework: section 19-2 states we can have same pagefragment more than once in a page.

the reason why i want to use this field more than once is b'coz it has SEARCH HELP.
If i use this filed search help is created internally.

is it possible to make cursor as global or public in the form so i can use its data in more than location for testing like in buttons triggers.
for example:
if i declare the following cursor in "WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE" trigger

FROM PERSON;how can i use this cursor in other triggers in other buttons in the form?

How to call the same query more than once with different selection criteria

Please do anybody know how to solve this issue? I need to call one query with the fixed structure more than once with different selection criteria. For example. I have following data
Sales organization XX
                     Income 2008 Income 2009
Customer A       10                 20
Customer B        30                  0
Sales organization YY
                     Income 2008 Income 2009
Customer A        20                5
Customer B        50                10
Now, I need this. At the selection screen of query, user fill variable charakteristic "Sales organization" with interval XX - YY, than I need to generate two separate results per sales organization, one for Sales Organization XX and the second for SO YYwhich will be displayed each on separate page, where result for SO YY will be dispayed under result for SO YY. Are there some options how to do it for example in Report Designer or WAD or with programming? In Report Designer is possible to use one query more than once, but I dont know how to force each query in RD to display result only for one Sales Organization, which will be defined in selection screen.

thanks to all for cooperation. Finally we solved this issue with the following way..
User fill appropriate SO on the selection screen, which is defined as range. This will resulte, that selected SO are listed in report below each othe (standard behavior). Required solution we achieved with the Report Designer, we set page break under each Result row of RD. This caused, that report is divided into required part per SO, which are stated each on separate page.

Use Topic in TOC more than once...

We have just purchased RoboHelp 6 for our Help System
generation as well as to begin developing online training courses.
I have a WebHelp File that contains 5 books - one book per
procedure. I have a topic that is applicable to two procedures.
Without having to make a copy of the topic, is it possible to set
up the TOC to use the topic in question more than once?
The problem arises when I am setting up the Browse Sequence.
I tried to set up the Browse Sequence using the Auto-create using
TOC...option, but the sequence appears to be in alphabetically
order. In fact, it is in no way, shape or form even close to the
TOC (as indicated in the Help - Topics in each browse sequence will
be in the same order as in the TOC)!!!
So, I tried to manually create the browse sequence. I used a
browse sequence to contain all topics, then I set up another browse
sequence to contain the duplicate topic. When I use the navigation
arrows to move through the toc, it will not advance to the second
browse sequnce.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The trick to all this is to never directly link from the TOC
to the desired topic. Let's assume the TOC should have a topic
appearing in two different places. In order to make this work, you
link from two different redirect pages.
Now if you generate WebHelp, I see where there could be an
issue, because the browse sequence can only link from one topic to
another. In other words, a topic can only have a single link to and
a single link from it. So in this case, the redirect trick would
fail. However, another trick comes to mind that may work. Instead
of a Redirect page, you could have two different pages that instead
of redirecting, contained an Inline Frame (IFRAME) that simply
displayed the contents of the desired page. Basically, the pages
containing the IFRAME would link properly and provide the desired
effect.

is it possible to map a source field to more than one destination fields in import manager? E.g. I have a source field "client" and I have to map it to a destination field "client" and also to a combined lookup field which consists of a field "client" and "systemname".

Yes you can achieve this , During Import Manager when mapping source field to target field in Map Field/Values tab, just above this on left hand side you can see Source Hierarchy in MDM Import Manger, Right click on field which you want to map more than one Destination field, here you get Clone Field option which make clone field , so you can map this clone field to other second destination field which will serve your purpose.

Can I use the CD key more than once?

I bought Lightroom as a Christmas present for my husband this year, but his laptop was stolen recently. It will be a few months before we can afford getting him a new one, and I want him to still be able to use Lightroom until then, so I was considering installing it on my computer, if it will do so (my computer is getting a bit old). But I don't want to do that unless he'll still be able to use the CD key to install it on a new laptop once we get him one. I've never had to worry about installing software on more than one computer, so I'm not completely sure of myself here. Any advice?

LR’s license, like most Adobe products’ licenses, is for one person on two different computers, with a desktop and a laptop or a work computer and a home computer being the typical examples, as long as only one of those computers is used at a time.

How to use development certificate on more than one machine?

Hello,
I have two Mac Mini's. One which I use to run the publicly released OS's on, and one I use to run beta software on. I do this because if the beta machine gets "screwy" due to a buggy beta release (which is usually inevitable) I don't really care. It's not affecting my other needs.
I signed up for the developer license for iOS,which was easy enough and it works flawlessly on the machine I initially signed up on.
The question is, how do I specifically "unlock" the other machine? I made a backup (pursuant to the instructions) of the "MyProfile.developerprofile" file. Is it as simple as me just copying that file to my other machine? If so, where do I place it and how do I get Xcode to read it?
I am sorry for the "newbie" question. The information on the Apple site wasn't very clear to me and I'd rather not screw this up if I don't have to.

How to display the same field more than once in report with diff. filters

I have an RTF template I built out. There is a 1:M relationship of an opportunity:deal point.
I want the user to be able to pass the opportunity and then see a report including all the deal points.
The report looks something like this:
Date: DP100
Terms: DP200
Duration: DP300
and so on. to simplify things, the date will always be DP100, terms will lways be DP200, etc.
Where do I set these filters? When using the query builder on the BI Publisher server i don't see anywhere to filter.

Unable to use the recording port more than once at a ti

Greets. I'm in a clan that uses Ventrilo for their Battlefield 2 games, and that's all fine and dandy...Love Ventrilo... Though, I am unable to talk in BF2 -and- Ventrilo at the same time. Everyone else in my clan can talk on BF2 and Ventrilo at the same time.Here's some examples so hopefully someone can help:Scenario )When I open Ventrilo first, and launch BF2, all my audio options for microphone are greyed out and set to 0%.Scenario 2)When I open BF2 first and launch Ventrilo, Ventrilo gives me an error about the recording port already being in use or something weird like that.Scenario 3)When I open FRAPS first (with recording sound enabled), then launch Ventrilo, Ventrilo gives me the same error. Same with BF2 when it comes second, all my options are greyed out.Would installing my sound card for my motherboard work, as long as I set the correct recording device? I don't want to do that, because I want to use my SB Li've! instead. Does anyone have the same problem?

Earlier this afternoon, I started a cleansweep of my entire system with entries in the registry pointing to anything having to do with SB Li've!. I've got rid of -everything- except for one thing that's really bugging me:In the Control Panel, there's an AudioHQ icon, and when I double-click it, nothing happens... I don't know how to get rid of control panel icons, but considering that's still in there, makes me wonder if there is still something lingering from my last installation.
Now, you're all going to laugh at me for this one, but I've been through two major upgrades (mobo, CPU, sound card, etc.) without formatting. I've been meaning to do this, but I hate formatting, because then it takes like a week to get the computer running the way you want it to.
While uninstalling all my sound drivers, I decided to go into the add remove programs to uninstall some old crap I never used. I saw two enries....BF2, and BF2 demo... Thinking of how I don't play the demo anymore, I will uninstall the demo- 'cept it uninstalled the entire BF2 retail game. Sooooo.....My way to test this isn't even installed, but it seems to be working all right when I launch FRAPS and Ventrilo at the same time.
But then it started to get strange...
When prompted at Windows startup to install new hardware, I had inserted the SB Li've! driver disk and tried to run setup.exe - It says:<IMG alt="" src="http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jaldarith/tw/error.gif" border=0>So, on the New Hardware Installation, I had it automatically search for the drivers by CD-ROM, and it found them in the Drivers/audio/win2k folder (Running Windows 2K SP 4), and seemed to install them just fine. After they installed, I heard some sound, thinking everything went smoothly.Now I try to install the upgraded drivers I downloaded from Creative's website:<IMG alt="" src="http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jaldarith/tw/error.gif" border=0>So I check out my device manager:<IMG alt="" src="http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jaldarith/tw/devicemanager.gif" border=0>Thinking I was able to run FRAPS and Ventrilo at the same time, I tried to load Battlefield 2 and Ventrilo at the same time and got this error:

So I knew it was hopeless.
Then I popped in the SB Li've! CD again and it auto-loaded with the driver installation program, and I selected the typical installation, thinking I may have missed something doing a custom in the past.

- Creative Game Port
- Creative SB Li've! series
But, it gets strange again. After installing the factory drivers from the CD and then trying to install the updated drivers from Creative's website, I get the same error I got above:

At this point, I am extremely stuck. Every one of my friends can play Battlefield 2 and have Ventrilo loaded at the same time, and still be able to talk through each program's independent voice over IP.

PCI\VEN_02&DEV_0002&SUBSYS_00A02&REV_0A = SB0220 SBLi've! 5. Digital,
and I think if this is correct, you'll may find some other frustrationed owners asking the
same question you have.

BTW:
You perhaps can install Audigy 2 drivers and software to your card. Here are the instructions how to do it.
It's quite easy process. Download Audigy driver/software package (~20MB) (link is there), extract it into some directory. Download the patch (link is on Automatic Method sentence)and follow instructions how to patch the instalation package. Then installation process. I've modded my Audigy 2 to Audigy 2 Zs using a similiar method and everyting else, but GraphicMixer, works great.
