How to use custom component configuration

Hi Experts,
For a standard webdynpro object I have created a new z component configuration by copying from existing one. In the standard there are already 2 existing component configuration.
This webdynpro does not have any application created so I am not able to directly assign this component configuration.
During run time in portal when I view the properties I can see a application for this webdynpro component and the standard component configuration being used.
My question is how to use the z component configuration I have created in the webdynpro?

in your projects select your GenericCombo.java --> right-click --> then popupmenu opens --> select tools --> then click add to Palette

hi vinod,
u can use the class <b>cl_gui_picture</b> to work around with pictures on the screen
just define a custom control on the screen
create an object of custom container.
create another object of cl_gui_picture giving container name as the parent name...
u can check out the class using the transn se24....

How to use ObjectDataProvider component in WDA

Hello all,
I hv an urgent requirement to develop an OADP based application in SAP webdynpro Abap (to fetch tree like structure). i don't know how its possible, but i heard we can use ObjectDataprovider component to do the same.
Does anybody know how to use "ObjectDataProvider" component in web dynpro abap to develop OADP based Webdynpro abap application, a step by step guide would be very nice. or do i need to fetch data myself using methods in webdynpro.

How to use custom pipeline dlls in Biztalk Projects so that they appear in the send/receive pipeline configuration after deployment?

I have a existing Biztalk application that uses custom pipelines for receiving excel files. I have the dll of that custom pipeline. Now i created another BT application that needs to use that same custom pipeline. But after i deploy the application in
Biztalk, i can't see the pipeline available in Receive pipeline configuration combo box during configuration. I have referenced the custom pipeline dll in my project before deploying, but that doesn't help. I also copied the dll in the C:\Program Files
(x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010\Pipeline Components folder and C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 folder, but that doesn't make the pipelines appear during configuration too.
Can anyone give any idea on how can i use these custom pipeline dlls in project so that they appear in configuration after deployment?

If you plan on using the deployed pipeline across multiple applications in BizTalk, the BizTalk Application (using the BizTalk Server Administration Console) should have the other application [where the pipeline is deployed] as reference.
For e.g.: Custom Pipeline (myCustomPipeline) part of a BizTalk Project (dll - myCustomProject.dll) deployed under Application [Some Application] also to be used in another BizTalk Application [Some Other Applicaiton] then using BizTalk Server Administartor
right click the "Some Other Application" and select "Properties"
on the "Properties" page, left hand side, select "References"
on the right-hand side, use "Add" to add the "Some Project" as a reference.
Doing so will ensure that ALL resources (maps, schemas, orchestrations, send ports, receive locations, rules, etc.) deployed for "Some Application" are available/referensible in "Some Other Application".

Here we have CRM_UI_FRAME.
Like this so many Components are there.
I want how to create our own component.
I created it as follows.
Open the Transaction code bsp_wd_cmpwb.
Provide Z Name in the Component.
Zcomponent
Press Create button.
Go to Run Time Repository.
Press Change Mode.
Create a MODEL as ALL.
GO to Browser Component Structre.
Select View.
Provide View name.
Create the View.
Go to view Layout.
Provide the code like this.

Can anybody expalin about this one to me with screen shorts if possible.
I want add some fields into the web UI. Provide some values into that. Capture the values.
Navigate the data from one screen to another screen. How it is possible. I did not understand.
If i am changing any screens in the pre define component it shows dump.
So, now i need Custom component with adding of the fields.
Please give me proper information regarding this one.

Try put the htmlb to show a field:

In order to get value, you can write a simple code in the event_handler:
LR_BOL type ref to IF_BOL_BO_PROPERTY_ACCESS
LR_BOL = ME->TYPED_CONTEXT-><context>->COLLECTION_WRAPPER->get_current()
var1 = LR_BOL->GET_PROPERTY_AS_STRING('FIELD').
take a look at lr_bol methods so that you can see the set and get methods.

I was successfully able to create a DC that uses the components of other DCs by following the steps given in the link :

Now the problem is that the used DCs should already be deployed before we can deploy the DC that is using these DCs.
Is there any way by which all the used DCs get deployed automatically when we deploy the DC that uses these DCs?

How to use custom calendar for scheduling other than owb's default calendar

Hi All,
Can anyone please tell me, is there any possibility of using a custom calendar in place of owb default calendar calendar during scheduling. Because, in my case, the month start date and end date are not 1st and 31st that changes according to the financial calendar that is defined.
I want to schedule mappings on month end date of financial calendar. How can this be done?

Hi,
The only possibility is to configure more than one schedule using the complex by month, by_ configuration. I don't know if this will work for you. Or you must use another job control system.
Can u just brief how to use it. Any other possible way of achieving my task?

SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) -> Create Table Extensions and Supply with Data

How to handle custom component data on overviewset save button CRM UI

I have added a custom component to a standard view which is enchanted.
I can handle any data with my buttons on the component but after editing data
i need the save the data when the save button on the overview(top) is pressed.
I have redefined save button of overview but i cant get my data.
My node name is Root. I think i couldnt bind it to overview.
How can i do that?
