How to use DeployerRuntimeMBean to "stop" an EJB module?

In the WLS console, you can "stop" a specific EJB module in an application. How can you do the same thing with the DeployerRuntimeMBean? The "stop" method takes a "name" argument that the doc says is the "application", but there's nothing to specify a module to stop.
In the "deploy" method, you can specify the appname, and the "source" would refer to the EJB module to deploy. There doesn't seem to be anything like that in the "stop" method.

You need to set the target and module in the DeploymentData object(deploymentData.addTarget) passed as parameter to DeployerRuntimeMBean.stop method

How to use Unique key constraint in EJB

Hi All,
I am using an entity bean to create my table in MySQL4.1.13
I have a table called user which has userid,username,password as its columns.
The userid is a primary key over here.
But I want the user name to be unique.
I.e if a user with the name 'Adrian' is present in the database then another user with this user name should not be created.
I have been told that you can configure a unique key in jbosscmp-jdbc.xml using insert-after-ejb-post-create.
But i dont know how to use it.
Can anyone give me a sample code for using this.
Any help would be appreciated.

WebStart will work with EJB. I use it with WebLogic Server. You have to make sure and deploy the weblogic.jar file - sign it if needed.

You can use the the same wage type for both number and amount but you can't assign 2 indirect valuation method for the same wage type at 1 time. I would rather suggest you to go for some customer specific indirect valuation instead of the standard one. You can use BAdI HR_INDVAL for the same.

The steps to create query search with ADF Business Components says:
"+From the Data Controls panel, select the data collection and expand the Named Criteria node to display a list of named view criteria.+"
But with EJB, I'm not able to find Named Criteria node. Can we use ADF query search component with EJB? If yes, can you please show me some example, tutorial etc.?

How to use (toplink essentials)JPA with EJB 2.1 spec in oc4j 10.1.3.2

I have an application that uses EJB 2.1 spec with SLSB (no entity beans) and uses DAO pattern with hibernate2 for persistence. I want to replace hibernate with toplink-essentials (JPA). I cannot upgrade the EJB spec version as we use some thirdparty beans. The application uses DAO pattern so I should be able to hook in a new toplink DAO impl. What I am struggling with is how do I get hold of the EntityManagerFactory in my EJB 2.1 SLSB. Also I need CMT with XA transactions as our application interacts with jms and database using MDBs and SLSBs.

You should be able to use Persistence.createEntityManagerFactory(<your-persistence-unit-name>, properties), and create your EntityManager from that.
To have TopLink integrated with JTA, in your persistence.xml (or properties) you need to use a JTA DataSource, and set the ServerPlatform for your JEE server.

I want to use a logical database in a Function Module to fetch data from a standard SAP table into a Internal table for certain filter conditions.
How can I get get this done????
I called LDB_PROCESS FM in my FM, but I could not figure out how to store the extract in my IT table since we cant use GET in FM.
Please provide me a sample code if possible.

In my FM i am using 2 models and if i dont completely exit the Function and use the same fm for another query based on another
model it is giving error saying invalid type.
