How to use JList's ensureIndexIsVisible and multiple selection using CTRL

Hello everyone. I am stuck on how to use JList's ensureIndexIsVisible() method and to also allow multiple rows in the list to be selected. Currently, when I begin typing a number stored in the list (i.e. 10001) the focus will go to that row; however, when I press the CTRL key and begin typing another number (i.e. 30001) the focus never goes to the new row. I have a suspicion that I need to cancel out the CTRL key somehow when typing the numbers but also need to keep the knowledge that the CTRL key is pressed to allow for multiple selection. There is no group send option like you are looking for.
To send to a group you have to pick each person you want to send to and send as a group that way. Then don't delete that SMS thread and you can reuse it again later.
As for an app, well SMS works via your carrier and the OS, not something an App can do unless the app send the data to them (a third party) and then they relay it to the carrier. Do you really want to be sending your SMS to some 3rd party first?

But yes, you should be able to connect to your home WiFi network with multiple computers and devices. In my house my wife, my daughter and I will all be using the WiFi Internet connection at the same time with our Laptops and I will also be using my iPad, my daughter uses her iPhone, and we have no issues at all.

How to query using 3 optional inputs and case insensitive using SQL?

Hi Folks,
I am having trouble with the following query:
select *
from t1
where (1=1)
and lower(fname) like lower ('%mary%')
and lower(lname) like lower ('%smith%')
and lower(status) like lower ('%%')
I need all three statements in the where clause to be completely optional and case insensitve.
if I just write the following:
(1=1)
and lower(fname) like lower ('%mary%')
and lower(lname) like lower ('%%') <-- Need to ignore this line
and lower(status) like lower ('%%') <-- need to ignore this line
nothing is returned. How do I ignore the 2nd and third lines using SQL only. I know about the ask TOM Article using procedures, but I need to do this using SQL only

Is this query generated dynamically? (That's the only reason I can see for saying "WHERE 1 = 1".)
If so, test the parameters for NULL, and only add them if a value was given.
Failing that, you can explicitly test for NULL parameters
where   (     lower(fname) = '%' || lower (:p_fname) || '%'
     OR     :p_fname     IS NULL
and     (     lower(lname) = '%' || lower (:p_lname) || '%'
     OR     :p_lname     IS NULL
and     (     lower(status) = '%' || lower (:p_status) || '%'
     OR     :p_status    IS NULL
     )Did you really mean to have all those '%''s? '%' is a wildcard in LIKE operations, but not when using =.
Perhaps you should be saying:
where   (     lower(fname) = lower (:p_fname)
     OR     :p_fname     IS NULL
and     (     lower(lname) = lower (:p_lname)
     OR     :p_lname     IS NULL
and     (     lower(status) = lower (:p_status)
     OR     :p_status    IS NULL
     )You're already handling case-sensitivity, by using LOWER in all the comparisons.
Unfortunately, you can't just say something like:
WHERE   LOWER (fname) = LOWER (NVL (:p_fname, fname))because that would discartd rows where fname IS NULL when :p_name is also NULL.

iOS 7 does not support multiple user accounts like you want.
If all the apps are different, you could set her up with her own page of apps, then just show her how to get to her apps page, or just buy her an iPad for herself.

Trying to create table using Union All Clause with multiple Select stmts

When you create a table using a SELECT statement the column names are derived from the SELECT list.
Your problem is that one of your columns is an expression that does not work as a column name SUBSTR(old_care_lvl,3)What you need to do is alias this expression and the CREATE will pick up the alias as the column name, like this:

SELECT row_id, old_care_lvl,SUBSTR(old_care_lvl,3) column3, len FROM test_care_lvl
WHERE LENGTH(old_care_lvl) =5

Yes sir. It w was really hard to explain. It is discontiguous segments that are separated by transparent areas. And I want those non transparent areas to be on their own layer. I have a photo shop file that has a bunch of buttons on them and they are on a transparent background. It is one layer. I want to select all the buttons and put them on their own layers. I can do this manually by selecting a button and cmd Just to a new layer, but when I have 200 buttons it is a daunting task.

Toggling between single and multiple selection in a table

I am working on ADF faces. I need to switch between single and multiple selection in <af:table based on a button I select.
I cannot use switcher or rendered property inside <af:table. Only the first one is rendering the second one is not rendering based on the switch

I have probably misunderstood what your issue is. I do not know what your version of ADF faces is. Here is some sample code working with my version. Please check if your jdev has "rowSelection" attribute. If it has, please try my sampe code

How do i implement the singleSelection and multipleSelection on table rows.
How do i capture the checked rows?
How should the code be written and where should it be written.
I should be capturing the values of the checked rows and pass it to the pl/sql package.
I have a table - in -table so there is a singleselection on the outer table and multiple selection on the Inner table.
Could anyone help me with this.

I am using JNDI/DNS API to query a Enum server (Tel URI resolution in VOIP world) what is a DNS server.
But I have many network interfaces, in a VLAN environment, and I must to specify from which interface (and port)

When I read the code of JNDI/DNS API (in JDK 1.5) and specially the DNSClient class, I can see that the
DatagramSocket is created without parameters... : udpSocket = new DatagramSocket();
How can I specify the IP address and port to use for my client???

I must to specify from which interface (and port) all the requests are sent. You don't have to specify the interface unless your static unicast routing tables are incorrect, and you never have to specify the port unless some lunatic is in control of your firewall.
