How to use quick link property in the km navigation iview

I have requirement.
T structured lables
one on top and rest 12 at the bottem in 3 columns, 4 rows.
when i click the lable it should connect to a respective folder in the KM
this entire page have to be connected to a folder link...ie when i click this folder link this page with T structured lables have to come and when i click each lable respective folders should open...
so for that i have created one KM Document iview(this is like heading in the page) and 12 KM Navigation iviews(pointing to respective folders)
after that which layout will be suitable for this in page layout???
if i add all iviews into a one single page
how to connect lables to folder???
one of my friend have suggested to use '"quicklink'" property along with html page...???
how to use it ???
so pls do help me???

I have done with HTML page and attached to Km document iview.and i have my 12 Km navigation i views.
Then create static Links on HTML page to navigate to other iviews. It can be created by using the Insert link in Km tool of the html editor available in Km. For opening a url iview from a link you can write this for executing the 'donavigate method' to open the iview you needed.???

How to use dynamic link in creative cloud?

I'm new with using the Creative Cloud and I'm wondering how I use the dynamic link tool between After Effects and Premiere Pro? When I right click on a piece of footage the dynamic link section is faded and won't let me click it. I also can't drag clips from premiere into after effects. Do I have to download something extra for dynamic link?

Depends where the code needs to be run - if it needs to be run on the App Server machine then keep the code you have today.
If it needs to be run on the Client (Browser) machine then look at the HOST bean sample on OTN (otn.oracle.com/products/forms)

You can do it in 2 differents ways:
1. With the ScreenPainter. Set the column property "Type" with the value "et_LINK_BUTTON" and the property "LinkObjectType" with the value of the Business Object (for Sales Orders, the value is "17").
2. Directly on the XML file. You can see and example below.

How to Use Custom Linker with Xcode 4.x?

I am using a customer compiler with Xcode and would like to know how to force Xcode to use my own linker line with custom arguments.
I created a new compiler spec file under:
/Developer/Library/Xcode/PrivatePlugIns/Xcode3Core.ideplugin/Contents/SharedSupp ort/Developer/Library/Xcode/Plug-ins
The default linker is defined in Ld.spec located in:

It seems like you have to create a custom Linker spec, give it an identifier, and then have the compiler spec reference your linker spec id by including it in the "RequiredLinker" key.
My compiler spec looks like:

The problem is that Xcode 4.1 still is insisting on using the default Apple linker. I want it to use my ARM based toolchain, which does not support some of the options that Xcode ends up passing on the linker line.

You would be better off using a makefile-based project with custom compilers and linkers.

How to use a link bar or navigation bar for display only?

My app has a link bar in an Application Control bar that is bound to the view stack of the steps in my application.
I would like to use this as a mechanism to show the user which step he is on and how many are left, but NOT to click on it to navigate between steps. I have provided wizard-like buttons to step navigation.
How can I have the link bar not respond to clicks, or, if not, programmatically disable certain steps in it (e.g. "step 2" not available until I say so)?

Here is my code.... my intension is ... when i click the <html:link> which is there in the script i want to get the corresponding rows 'uri'. and that uri i need to pass to the bean.
Here in this case my problem is which ever icon i press i'm able to get the last uri
for ex:- if there are 10 records displayed in tabular format. if i press any icon i'm getting only the 10th uri....
So, kindly please help me to sort out this problem.

How to use DB Link

Hi,
I have two databases DevX and ProdY.
With TOAD I am Querying and accessing both the databases separately.
I wanted to fire a query as below
Delete from DEVX.Schema1.tableA
Where tableA.plan_n NOT IN (Select plan_n from PRODY.Schema2.tableB )
How can I do this query, I know that DB link need to be used. I am new to the Database link area.

CREATE DATABASE LINK
Purpose
Use the CREATE DATABASE LINK statement to create a database link. A database link is a schema object in one database that enables you to access objects on another database. The other database need not be an Oracle system. However, to access non-Oracle systems you must use Oracle Heterogeneous Services.
Once you have created a database link, you can use it to refer to tables and views on the other database. In SQL statements, you can refer to a table or view on the other database in by appending @dblink to the table or view name. You can query a table or view on the other database with the SELECT statement. You can also access remote tables and views using any INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, or LOCK TABLE statement.

How to use external links to show a specific page with a parametrer ?

Hi everybody,
we discovered an annoying problem while we were developping applications who are sending emails after creating a new record. We are creating a valid APEX link which call our applications correctly, on the right page, and with the right parameter. The first time we log in, it works perfectly. The problem is when the user is trying to call an other record from the next email. It's not working unless we close our session. I guess it's a protection against hacking, but we can't ask the user to connect and disconnect every time they wants to watch a specific record directly from a mail ?
The only way I can imagin to resolve this problem, is to open a page that will show all the newest entries in the table from a parameter. It could work for our applications that requires a lot travel between records.
Do you have any other solution we could use ?

Not the application, the page their are accessing.. Since you are using check-sums on the links and some sort of authentication, unless you build your authentication to allow a certain user access via e-mail, you will have issues.

i want to create one table (Table1)in database B, and then insert data into Table1 select ....from Table2 which is in database A.
i used the create database link (database name) connect to (database) indentified by .....
