How to use Schedule End Date in work flow

I want the delete pages from Page library after the “Schedule End Date” is reached.
I used workflow, but the “Schedule End Date” column values always returns 1/1/1000 in workflow.
I am unable to get the actual “Schedule End Date” value form the pages.
Any help
with Regards Sivam

Hi Siva 2013,
I made a test in my environment and I reproduce your issue.
By default, it is a hidden field. I make the field unhidden using SharePoint Manager. I set the field with a specific value, and I create a workflow to log the value. But, it always show "0001/01/01".
As a workaround, I suggest you can filter the items using CAML Query and delete them using Client Object Model.
I suggest you can filter the items using CAMLDesign.

  • Publishing Scheduled End Date is 1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM

I have a requirement to move pages out of the pages library when the Scheduled End Date is met. My thought was to create a simple workflow using SharePoint Designer 2013 that will run on creation and pause until the Scheduled End Time and then copy the item
to another library and then delete item from the pages library.  Sounds simple enough but no matter what date is entered in the Scheduled End Date column the value is always '1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM'.  I know this because I log the date as the
    first step in the workflow.
Now the strange part is the pause until 'Schedule End Date' does work when a date is entered but I'm not sure why because it displays 1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM) when I log it...
The other requirement is if a Scheduled End Date is not entered add 10 days and then archive the page. I'm not sure how I can do this if the Scheduled End Date is always '1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM' I can not test against an empty date since the value is always
    '1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM'.
Why is the Scheduled End Date always display '1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM'? I created both a SharePoint 2010 and 2013 workflow both with the same result.
I have verified that this does not occur in our SharePoint 2010 environment. Is this a configuration issue with our SharePoint 2013 environment?

    Hi Dan,
Thanks for the reply but unfortunately the Scheduled End Date is always 1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM regardless of the date entered.  The first step I do in the workflow is log the Scheduled End Date.
The strange thing is it works if all the workflow does is a 'Pause Until' then copy and delete. But I need to check and see if the Schedule End Date is empty and add 10 days to the create date....

  • Use of end-date as part of Primary key in SAP Tables

    All,
Any ideas on the rationale behind SAPs use of end-date as part of Primary key in general, specifically on condition Tables(A9xx for example) instead of Start-date? appreciate any help!!
    Best Regards
    TRP

Hmm, another example is CSKS, this logic was probably designed already in the 1980s...maybe it was seen beneficial to be able to select the currently valid record by using the primary key only (the first record where DATBI is larger than system date, not possible when DATAB is the key instead).
Maybe there are better explanations. Why do you need to know this, just curious?

  • How to use Count with Date Parameters

    Hello,
I am having issues using the Count() function in conjunction with date parameters.
This is a Siebel report and in my report I have 2 date parameters(From Date, To Date). In a nutshell I am basically trying to count Opportunities that has a start date within the given date period. However I don't see a reasonable way to put my date parameters within the Count() function. The reason being is that I need to have a huge chunk of code to convert the dates into a common format that can be compared, and it won't even fit within the code block in my rtf template. I am not even sure how to put multiple conditional statements inside a Count() function since all the examples I have seen are very simple.
Anyone have a suggestion on how to use Count() with date parameters?
    Thanks.

Any chance you can get the date formats in the correct format from siebel?
I don't know Siebel - so I can't help you with that. If you get the correct format it is just
    <?count(row[(FromDate>=date) and  (date<=ToDate))?>
Otherwise the approach would probably need to use string function to get year/monthd/day from the date
and store it into a varialbe and compare later the same way
    <?variable@incontext:from; ....?>
    <?variable@incontext:to; ...?>
    <?count(row[($from>=date) and  (date<=$to))?>
Potentially you can use the date functions such as xdofx:to_date to do the conversion
    [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12844_01/doc/bip.1013/e12187/T421739T481158.htm]
But I am not sure if they are available in your siebel implementation.
    Hope that helps

  • How to Use Home+End Key on new short usb apple keyboard on XP

How to Use Home+End Key on new short usb apple keyboard on XP
now i use macbook and new short apple keyboard.
    it hasn't Home and End key. i try to use Fn + -> , Fn + <-
it cann't do that. How can i set the Fn + <- be Home key
and Fn + -> be End key like on my macbook keyboard
    thank you for answer

Easy, no need to be harsh. I might not be a Level 9  Discussions user, but I’ve been an Apple Technician for more than a decade now. So believe me, I know what I’m talking about. Be it OS X Server or emptying the Trash. But even I come here from time to time to learn from others. Well, back to topic and being a little more specific:
The 'My Info' setting always belongs to the first iCloud account you add to an iOS device. In this account you create at least 1 contact, the one you will be using for 'My Info'. You then do the same on your other iOS device using NOT the same iCloud account, of course. You only need to enable contacts syncing in iCloud preferences for these primary accounts. From here on you can use differing 'My Info' on your 2 iOS devices without a problem.
But you may know that you can use more than one iCloud account at a time. Only the primary one will offer all iCloud options like Photostream. But what they all offer is contacts, calendars, etc. So if you intend (and I did) to share these 2 between your devices you can add them using a second iCloud account to both of your iOS devices. This makes it 3 accounts all in all. You could even go further and add another one just for 'Find my iPhone' if you like.
I would’ve used the built-in sharing of Calendar.app instead, but Contacts.app does not (yet) offer sharing contacts with others. That’s why I went with the third iCloud account as a secondary account to both iOS devices.
Apple of course recommends using just one Apple ID for everything to make it easier. But in some scenarios this just won’t cut it, which is even described in one of their support documents.
I hope that now you have an idea what I’ve done…
    Good night
    Björn
PS: It would be nice if people did not insist on being right. They too can sometimes learn something!

  • SCCM 2012 - Endpoint Protection Reporting only using static end date

I have created a subscription to the Endpoint Protection/Antimalware Activity Report built into SCCM2012/Endpoint Protection.
My problem is that I am having trouble getting the dates to work correctly.  I want to have the report automaticlly emailed out every monday morning with the status from the last 7 days (i.e. since the last monday report).
However the subscription seems to want a static end date.  That is, every monday when the report runs it gives me a status report from the exact same 7 days.  Not the most recent 7 days.
How do I go about changing this so it is useful and that every monday it runs, the report it creates/sends is from the the last 7 days?

I hope this helps (I am still testing it) but I did this by:-
"Editing" the default report such as "Antimalware activity report".
To avoid corrupting this default report before you change anything select SaveAs and call it something like "Antimalware activity report
    for the last 7 days".
Open Datasets, StartEndDates and replace the query with this for the last 7 days
"select DATEADD(day,datediff(day,0,GetDate())- 7,0) as StartDate, DATEADD(day,datediff(day,0,GetDate()),0) as EndDate"
Then open Parameters, StartDate and under General change it to "Hidden".
Then open Parameters, EndDate and under General change it to "Hidden".
    Save and test
I had to set the "default value" on each parameter, per Lillonel:
    StartDate : =DateAdd("d",-7,Globals!ExecutionTime)
    EndDate : =Globals!ExecutionTime
It looks like it is using a 7 day window now.

  • How to use AT END OF logic in ALV reports?

    Hi Experts!!
I have a requirement which is given below and the same should be the output of an alv report. I have all the data in one itab which has ields as matnr, sl.no, name and place. And I have the itab values as
    MATNR    SL.NO             NAME           PLACE
    134     1     ABCD     INDIA
    134     2     XYZ     US
    134     3     QWERT     GERMANY
    256     4     FDGHS     CNTRY1
    256     5     GVHB     CNTRY2
    256     6     GHI     CNTRY3
    256     7     YGJN     CNTRY4
    256     8     ESEGVU     CNTRY5
Now I need the alv output as the below:
    Sl.No.     Name     Place
    MATNR: 134
    1     ABCD     INDIA
    2     XYZ     US
    3     QWERT     GERMANY
    MATNR: 256
    5     FDGHS     CNTRY1
    6     GVHB     CNTRY2
    7     GHI     CNTRY3
    8     YGJN     CNTRY4

In normal classic report, I can achieve this by using AT END OF MATNR, and then printing. But how can i achieve the same in ALV report?
Kindly suggest me the normal ALV method, istead of OOPS concepts. I don't ant to consider OOPS, if this is possible by normal ALVs.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi VM,
    Input is Order Number (AUFNR).
You can find the Basic End date of Order in Table AFKO, filed is GLTRP.
For work center in Operations, you can use the Table AUFPL from AFKO.
Pass this AUFPL in AFVC and get the ARBID.
Then pass this ARBID to CRHD Table as OBJID, and get the work Center (ARBPL)

  • How to stop scheduled ship date and scheduled arrival date from defaulting to sysdate

    Hello,
We have a business scenario where we are deriving scheduled ship date and scheduled arrival date outside and then imported in the instance with the order. However we find that the scheduled ship date and scheduled arrival date are defaulting to sysdate. The atp flag is set to N for these items. I have checked the defaulting rules, there is no such defaulting rule set for scheduled ship date or arrival date ( screenshot attached) Please share your thoughts on how can I stop scheduled ship date and arrival date date from defaulting to sysdate ?
    Thanks

  • How to Validate Schedule Ship Date manually entered - Order Management

    Hi,
When a sales order is booked for a customer, some sales staff maually enter the Scheduled Ship Date field under Shipping tab, insead of using the calendar. And if they enter a date that is not within a valid date range, the system accepts it. How do I make the application throw an error asking them to re-enter the date.
    Thanks,
    Anitha

    Hi,
You can explore using the latest acceptable date field on the order lines for this validation. This field can be defaulted fromn the custmer master set up. For example, if the latest acceptable date for customer A is 10 days, and the request date for the customer on an order line is 1st Aug 2007, then the latest acceptable date on the order line will be calculated as 10th Aug 2007. If the user enters/updates the scheduled ship date later than 10th Aug 2007, then system will throw an error.
    Hope this helps.
