  • How to use Toshiba Bluetooth stack longer than 30 days on 3rd party computer

Sorry if this is back to basics.
I have a Dell Latitude 610 with Bluetooth built in and driver versions 3.03.
When I try to connect my Nokia via PC Suite it says the drivers are old version and should be 7.0plus.
How do I get updated drivers that last longer than 30 days?

    Hi
You should check this Toshiba BT portal and the HowTO section:
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=howto
There you can find this document:
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/FAQ81021V0000R01.htm
It says that you have to use the BT stack/driver from your notebook manufacturer!

You can only add songs to your iOS device from iTunes via Wi-Fi sync or via your cable, not Bluetooth.

That's an entirely different issue, unrelated to your iOS devices.

If you can find such a thing.  I really doubt that exists since USB is a data connector not a video connector.
would allow me to run the audio through my stereo.
That would depend on this adapter.

  • How to use IDOC and RFC adapter in 1 scenario?

We have AAA field and BBB field and we want to send AAA field to receiver sap system using IDOC adapter and BBB field to receiver sap system using RFC adapter. But how to use IDOC and RFC adapter in 1 scenario and how to map and  what are the design and configuration objects we require to create?

To achieve this you have to use
    Two Interface Determinations
Two Communication Channels (IDOC & RFC)
    & Two Receiver Aggrements.
Use the Enhanced Interface determination and give your conditions there. Based on you condition your interface mapping will be triggered and data will be sent to IDOC & RFC respectively.

  • HT4106 How much current the lightning/USB adapter can supply to an USB device

I bought a caméra terminated with a USB cable.
I want to connect that camera to my ipad mini using lightning to USB adapter
    sold by Apple.
What is the maximum current supplied by the ipad mini through this adapter.?
    Tks
    Michel

The lightning to USB camera adapter cable doesn't provide output power. It only transfers the pic files from the camera. The camera's battery provides the power to operate the camera during this operation.
The lightning to USB cable is used to charge the iPad and the charger is rated at 10 or 12Watts of 5V power. So this cable carries 2+ Amps.
    Why are you concerned?

  • How To Use External Bluetooth Adapter?

My desk is about 15' from my Mac Mini (running 10.8.2). I'm using an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and Magic Mouse. The keyboard works pretty well but the mouse is awful. It frequently drops the connection and is erratic most of the time when it is connected. Signal strength is low, varrying between -75 and -84 dBm according to the Connection RSSI graph in System Preferences. In hopes of improving the situation I got a USB extension cable and a USB Bluetooth dongle with the thought that I could find a location for the dongle that would give me better signal strength.
So far, I'm not seeing much – if any – improvement and I'm wondering if I'm actually using the external adapter. Does anybody know of a way to tell which adapter is being used? Of if this strategy will even work?

    Hi X42:
Your last paragraph intrigued me as I had the same impression:
I thought unlicensed BT devices were legally limited by the FCC to about 30 feet (3 meters)
Actually, 30 feet is 10 meters.
Anyway, I researched and found this as part of a Wikipedia item:
Bluetooth is a standard wire-replacement communications protocol primarily designed for low power consumption, with a short range (power-class-dependent, but effective ranges vary in practice; see table below) based on low-cost transceiver microchips in each device.[7] Because the devices use a radio (broadcast) communications system, they do not have to be in visual line of sight of each other, however a quasi optical wireless path must be viable.[2]
    Class
    Maximum Permitted Power
    Range
    (approximate)
    mW
    dBm
    Class 1
    100
    20
    ~100 meters
    Class 2
    2.5
    4
    ~10 meters
    Class 3
    1
    0
    ~5 meter
The effective range varies due to propagation conditions, material coverage, production sample variations, antenna configurations and battery conditions. In most cases the effective range of class 2 devices is extended if they connect to a class 1 transceiver, compared to a pure class 2 network. This is accomplished by the higher sensitivity and transmission power of Class 1 devices.[8]
Apparently there are BT devices that will transmit about 300 feet.  I did look at the FCC site, but quickly became confused in the technbabble.

  • D-Link Bluetooth USB Adapter DBT-120

Is this adapter still the "most" compatible USB adapter for the Mac Pro? I have it and it works great but the option for waking up the computer with devices attached to this adapter is unavailable. Do you have to have the pre-installed Apple Bluetooth module for this functionality?

On the D-Link question, yes probably so. BT is finally getting so common, you don't see many choices with 3rd party suppliers.
On the WAKE option, you'll need the real Apple hardware. I just went through the same thing myself on my Dual G5. The bluetooth mouse wouldn't wake the computer from sleep mode using the DBT-120. Once I installed the Apple Bluetooth module, the BT preference panel gave me the wake/sleep option and everything works fine now.
The G5 model's BT and AirPort modules were DIY, the Pro model should be also? Others here may know for sure. If so, I'm betting it's also a lot easier!
    Hope this helps.

  • How to use a bluetooth cellphone for audio input and output

Hello, I was wondering how to set-up my Mac Book so that I can use my bluetooth cellphone for audio in and audio out. Ideally, I would like to use my handset for talking on iChat and Skype. Has anyone had any luck doing this? When I bond my cellphone these optiosn do not appear. I know that this is easy to do on a Windows machine but I am not sure about how to do it on my Mac Book.
    Thanks!

Yes it should do what you want.
Go to "Audio Midi Setup", and go to the Audio menu and click "Open Aggregate Device Editor". The interface is pretty simple but if you do get stuck, just use the help function in Audio Midi Setup, as it has a step by step guide.
Then when you return to logic, go to the Preferences>Audio>Drivers section and select Aggregate Device as the new driver rather than either the built in sound or the tascam. Then the inputs and outputs will apply to BOTH devices.

    Hi,
You canr use text modules in script. You have to use standard texts .
Standard text are maintained in SO10 transaction.
you can create translation text for other languages also . So based on logon language it will print translation text.
    go to SO10
give textname it say Ztextname  id as ST and language as EN
say create, then you will get editor there maintain your text and save it . then come back . Now change language (say for german DE) say create and eneter translation text and save it.
so now you have created a text called ztextname which you can use in your script.
Inorder to insert the texts in your script do as below
go to any window editor and   select path
    Insert->texts->symbols->standard symbols
then you will get popup  in which you have to mention all the parameters that you have created earlier.
after inserting just change language EN to sy-langu
    Reward points if useful
About text elements Sravan already given some informatiomn
