How to use Value Mappings for simple translations?

Hello,
I want to use Value Mappings for simple translations in mappings, e.g. from IDoc to Inhouse structures.
For example unit of quantity:
IDOC    -->    INHOUSE
PCE               P
ABC               A
How can I use Value Mapping for this? What should be used as Agency, what should be used for Scheme? What about groups? I tried the following: I created a new Value Mapping in Integration Directory:
- Source Agency: DELVRY05
- Source Scheme: MENEE (IDoc field name)
- Target Acency: INHOUSE_DESADV (Name of structure)
- Target scheme: UNIT (Name of field)
Then, in the table, I added several lines for translating PCE to P and ABC to A and so on. But I have to define a group name for each line. I used INHOUSE. But than I get one INHOUSE group for each line.
This seems very complicated for simple translations from A to B. I don't want to use FixValue in Message mappings.
Any help appreciated.

Lets get it very simple: I want to have exactly the same functionality of "FixValues" as ValueMappings. In 7.1, I need to define a Group for every row / line in the conversion table (e.g. for units of measurement conversion between IDoc and FlatFile). That does not make sense for me, as the Group is always the same, e.g. "Unit of measurement". So I will get dozens of same groups called "Unit of measurement".
I don't really understand the concept of Groups. Maybe this is just not appropiate for my intenses? Maybe the Group has to be defined as one specific value of Unit of measurement, e.g. "pieces"?

i hava an event-structure with a boolean-button on it (Mechanical Action: Latch when pressed).
For this button i have an event "Value Change" - works all fine.
Now i want to execute this event from an other event by sending a True into the Property-Node "ValueChangeSignaling" of this button.
But now labview tells me:
When a Boolean control has a latch mechanical
action, you cannot use the Value property to read or write its
value.
What can i do now to execute the existing event of the button?

A little further info from the help:
Note You cannot use any latch action for objects with a local variable. The first local variable to read a Boolean control with latch action resets its value to the default. If you configure your Boolean value with a latching mechanical action, the Value Property and the Value (Signaling) Property always return an error. Due to race conditions that can occur when you have a Boolean value with latching mechanical action, you cannot programmatically read Boolean values that are set with a latching mechanical action.
So your options are to either change the change mechanical action to switched, and programmatically set it back to False inside your event case, or use another method to fire your event (as previouosly mentioned, consider user events).

I am using 2 popup in a view.same popup's having same buttons 'Yes', 'No'.when i use 1st one i have to create an action for that Yes button where i put my code for that particular Action.
But when i used 2nd one the action define for that is not acceptable with differ name.it takes only standard one.
Now my Query is : How to use same actions for differ pop-up buttons with in a similar view?Where i put my code.

Hi,
Take one integer value attribute in the context of view
when you r performing action on POP1 set it's value to 1
when you r performing action on POP2 set it's value to 2
create one method which receives integer argument, say diaplay(int a)
In the action call display(wdContext.currentContextElement().get<intvariable>()) by passing the value in the context attribute
in display() method, Check the value of integer variable..
if it is 1 then perform action related to POP1
if it is 2 then perform action related to POP2

give ur
1.document name as message type
2.give ur recordstructure as Details,,Header,1,ITEM,
3.mention ur keyfield.
conversion parameter
Header.fieldFixedLength - give the field lengths
Header.fieldNames=mention all the field name
Header.keyField=enter the value of keyfield
Header.endSeparator='nl'
repeat the same for Item

I am using drawPixels method of DirectGraphics class the code I have written is :-
Image offscreen=DirectUtils.createImage(width,height,0x00000000);// width and heights are integer value

The above code is working fine with NOKIA 60 series device but when i use it with NOKIA 40 series device it gives java.lang.IllegalArgumentException.
same time if i use :-
directgraphics.drawPixels(imgData,false,0,width,0,0,width,height,0,DirectGraphics .TYPE_USHORT_4444_ARGB ) ;
// imgData is a short array(short imgData[]) which contains required pixels of image. i have used different formet here.
it works fine with 40 series device,
can any one suggest me how to use drawPixels method for 40 series devices with format
DirectGraphics .TYPE_INT_8888_ARGB .

I think you need to write the code for this from scratch (built on top of existing HTTP functionality). There may be open-source J2ME code you could use. I've never tried this so I'm afraid I don't know any more. But maybe that is what you were asking... i.e. does anyone have code that does this already...

hello everyone
i have some trouble.
my company want to use 2 GL account for asset retirement
example some time use GL 6500001 some time use 6500002
in standard configuration AO90 , field loss made on asset retirement w/o revenue, there is only one field.
so i can use only one G/L.
it' s not good if i must to change configuration (and transport request )every time that user need to change GL.
now i got one idea.
i know that table T095 keep account determinaton and GL account data.
so if i make program that change data from table T095 directly. i donot need to change config everytime.
but i am not sure that this way will make impact other standard program or not.
i will wait for better idea from everyone.
please help.

Now in 6.0 it wont!
