Hello,
I am new to Visual C++ can someone help me learn C++ or direct me to a website that teaches C++ for beginners?

If anyone's interested you can also practice by
coding out these C++ programming tests.
I belive it is somewhat more interesting approach, doing things rather than reading about them ;)

How To: Use Visual Studio, IIS Express, and Adobe Edge Inspect to view local projects

You CAN view a Visual Studio project with Adobe Inspect. The work around takes a little bit of time.
This involves using IIS Express to run your Visual Studio project, which is mainly a setting in Visual Studio, a Firewall change, a few command line and IIS Express config change. It isn't actually all that bad, but will make your life A LOT easier.
Here are the steps. (Note these are steps I used for Visual Studio 2012 and your project is part of a solution project. Windows 7 or Windows 8)
1. If IIS in not turned on, turn it on.How to: Enable Internet Information Services (IIS) - this should install IIS Express as well.
2. In Visual Studio, find the port that Visual Studio will be using for your project by Running your web project (Debug), and note/write down/save the port number that shows up in the browser when the project launches. (ex. http://localhost:12345)
3. Add a NetShare Reservation (process for this will be different for Windows XP)
Go to your Command Line (CMD) in Windows and in c:\Windows\system32> type in
netsh http add urlacl url=http://yourIPaddress:yourPortNumber user=everyone
(ex. netsh add urlacl url=http://12.34.56.78:12345 user=everyone)
Hit Enter key. You should be a successful add reservation message
3. Go to your Windows Explorer (File system) and go to c:/Users/YourName/MyDocuments (or Documents)/IISExpress/config/ and open 'applicationhost.config'
In the 'applicationhost.config' file find your site in the <sites> section.
Example:

                </application>
                <bindings>

In this section ADD 2 new lines to the <bindings> section. Note add your own IP address and your own Computer Name
<binding protocol="http" bindingInformation="*:12345:12.34.56.78" />
<binding protocol="http" bindingInformation=":12345:MyComputerName" />
Save the config file.
4. Open up your Windows Firewall and go to 'Advanced Settings'. Here you want to create an Inbound Rule.
Right click on Inbound Rule and select New Rule
- Rule Type select 'Custom'
- Program leave this
- Protocol and Ports > Protocol Type select 'TCP' then Local Port select 'Specific Port' and fill in the port number you got from VS. Leave Remote Port alone.
- Scope
There are a few ways of doing this. Typically you would go the the Remote IP address and select 'These IP addresses: and select ADD > select 'Predefined set of computers' and choose Local Subnet. IF this does not work leave Remote IP addresses > Any IP address option selected instead.
- Action leave this
- Profile select Domain and Private
- Name put IISExpressWeb for the name
Select 'Finish'
5. Go to Visual Studio. (Note if you have multiple projects in your solution, choose your start up project. Right click on your project in Solution Explorer in VS and select 'Set as Start Up Project' )
Right click on your start up project again and you should see an option to 'Use IISExpress'
In the DEBUG dropdown (from the main menu bar at the top) select 'YourProjectName Properties'. Mine was the last one in the list with a wrench icon next to it.
This should open an new tab in your project, You should see a left hand list of option and a right hand column of options.
In the left column select 'Web' and in this tab select Use Local IIS Web server and select 'Use IIS Express' and type in your IP Address and port number (same as before) in the Project Url text box.
Save.
NOW, you should be able to run your project in Visual Studio and use Adobe Edge Inspect on your device and view new results in Chrome. You can develop from there.
If you still can not see it working, please be sure your device is on the same SubNet or Wireless network as your computer. If you are in a large network but the domains can still see each other, the Firewall Setting detailed above to allow Any IP Address in your Scope section.

The reason: I want to automatically change the property visual-attribute at all of my buttons in the forms.
How can I attache the visual attribute to the forms?

for .pll librarys)
How it works for visual attributes in .olb-files?)
I want to subclass the visual attribute.
It is a migration issue (6i to 10g).

How can i use visual logic on my mac

I am a student at the University of Phoneix and Im taking a programming class that uses Visual Logic. The professor knows about my problem but really doesnt know what to do with a Mac but he says I will need a windows environment to install and run the pogram... doe anyone have any tips? I saw a program for $79 call Parrallels but I really dont want to be buying equipment for the computer in every class. Shortcut needed!!!

Boot Camp Apple is free of course.
Parallels 7 then lets you run natively or as a guest OS VM - though you probably want to run VL natively on the hardware not through virtualization.
Equipment? two programs to run all the Windows based software you mean.
CrossOver Mac supports a few popular titles but maybe not this.
Really helps to always list mac model etc to know OS and how old whether even using a VM is worth it, or get yourself a $499 PC laptop for school instead.

We are planning to update employee Address through Portal for that one we did one BAPI which supports ADDRESS Change of an employye, through Visual Composer we developed the application and we integrated into SAP Portal but we are not able to update our records, then we found BAPI_EMPLOYEE_ENQUE and BAPI_EMPLOYEE_DEQUE, but we don't know how to use thease BAPI's in Visual Composer i mean how to make connection between out input form and thease BAPI''s and our custom BAPI's.
If any one having this experience please let me know.

Nice to see your reply, we got this error in R/3 it self, when we are trying to excuting SAP Standard BAPI we are getting this error "Employee/applicant is not locked yet". I think this is bug from SAP itself, do you have any idea about this one? is there any settings we need to do in R/3 for resolving this one or else is there any data we need to maintaine for our Employee Records.
Please resolve my issue.

How to use Google Maps by Visual Composer?

I'm creating some simple applications by Visual Composer in which I wanna use a Google Maps in VC,
and i have now successfully got to the STREET, POSTL_CODE, CITY and COUNTRY came from the BAPI.
(i am trying to use the Bapi_Customer_Getdetail2.)
but,i didn't get how to connect Table View and Html View.
I have already checked the below links. but i fail to understand how to do it.

I am using Visual Composer 7.1. I have configured BI system connection using the following link

What is the difference between developing application in VC using the above method and using BI kit.

Hi,
Without the BI kit you cannot do a lot of things in VC 7.1.
This kit is not available with 7.1.
The part that you did not understand meant that if you opening VC using a certain id in portal for eg "user" then the same id should be present in your backend system in this case BW system.
Without this it wont be able to connect to the system.

How to use Webservice in Visual composer

We have developed a RFC in R3 and converted it into Webservice. We want to use this in the Visual composer. Can anyone suggest some steps how to use this RFC in Visual composer?
I tried the option in Tools--> Define webservice System and gave the following parameters:
new system name = WDP (system name which we use)
new system alias = WDP_VC (system alias which we created)
webservice url = URL of the webservice which we have created and got in WSDL
when we create it gives an error the URL is incorrect.
Kindly let me know if these values are correct and suggest the steps to be followed. Also, if there are any prerequiste steps to be done before using this webservice.

Hi,
The option you described refers to defining a new web service system in the portal system landscape. So if you already have it defined - you don't have to define it again.
As for the actual error you're getting, check that:
1. The url is indeed accessible, and points to a wsdl. You can do this by simply inserting it in the browser's address bar and making sure you get a wsdl file in the response.
2. Make sure that you don't need to authenticate, i.e. provide a user and password. Maybe you just forgot to provide these arguments.
Lastly, keep in mind that this 'Define Web Service System' option is just a shortcut. Generally, you would define a web service system in the portal, like any other system, using the web service connector.

If you are trying to display total number of pages in a report, Add the below formula in the column of the report and hide that column in the report.
FX = sum(count(1))/25
You can then reference the column in the narrative view like this: "Total pages in the report are @5" and out put may be "Total Pages in the report are 30".
Or
You can also use something like the below:
To calculate them use fi:
CEILING(CAST(RCOUNT("FactColumn In the Report (Sum All)") as DOUBLE)/ 25) for the page number
CEILING(CAST(COUNT("FactColumn In the Report (Sum All)") as DOUBLE)/ 25) for the total pages
Put the above formula in the column and reference it in the narrative view like I mentioned in the previous example.
