How to use wsimport in java program
Hi friends,
wsimport is an external tool that parses wsdl and generates java artifacts.
Is there any way to use, invoke wsimport in a java program to parse wsdl and generate java artifacts ?
Is there any wsimport API that gives same parsing functionality as wsimport tool, so that I can use it in my java program? I searched but I didn't get that's why I need to post here

You may be able to call WsImport's main() method from your code, something like this:
import com.sun.tools.ws.WsImport;
String[] args = {"put", "your", "arguments", "here"};
WsImport.main(args);(Make sure that the webservices-tools.jar file is on the classpath, since that's the one containing the WsImport.class file - you'll probably need the other webservices jars too).

NetBeans mobility pack comes with a short tutorial and several samples, you also need to download the latest WTK as the ver. 2.2 which comes bundled with NetBeans is just too buggy to work with. Then there are the manufacturer-specific SDKs from Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and (maybe) others.
If and when you get started in Java ME aka j2me, it will be appropriate to post any questions you might have on the mobility forums, not here.
Google "j2me tutorial" for many good hits.

I have been doing this in the command line:
java "C:\Document and Settings\freeOn\Desktop\Java\Test\test"
and I get
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:

Your program reads from a file on the disk and formats based on a patterm.
Jsp is not intended for such stuff.

Examples:
-End of Executable Program, Include, Function group, Dialog module
-Begin/End of Form routine / Function module / Method
-End of a structure
-End of Private/Protected/Public Section of a local class
If you want to create Implementation , You have to right click on yellow color line and gve Zxxx and save it in any
transport request under any dev class. Then you can write your own code and save it and activate it .
Later If you want to Transport it you need to transport this request.

Of course this will take a little work, but CWSerial should be able to handle this without too much hassle. Take a look at the example program usually included in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudio\VB\Samples\Instr\Basic Serial
You should be able to use this example as a starting point.

I have java program that is called by another program that I dont have control on. My program returns a bigdecimal... but if the ordernumber is empty in my program i dont wnat to do anything.. does system.exit work in that condition... i put it int he else if ordernumber is empty condition.. but i dont think that is the right approach..
When software module is expected to bring some result, it should bring the result, positive or negative. I think you should check what your counterpart software expects as positive or negative result. And then implement your software this way. You can use System.exit, but this call is employed usually to indicate status with the software after it's completion and not to return any resulting value.

How can I run a java program on Linux?
I have JBuilder's IDE installed on my Linux partition and it works. However I don't know how to compile and test a program without it. Also I tried to install Limewire on Linux and although I've installed the Java SDK on the system. Once before I installed JBuilder and then JBuilder (I guess) installed it again. However it told me it couldn't find the Java Virtual Machine. Isn't this installed with the JDK? I am able to run programs through JBuilder so I can't see why I'd have a problem. Any answers to the above issues would be greatly appreciated.

(You should find the JDK from a directory under the jbuilder directory so use that and not the /usr/local/jdk1.4 in the example.)

I would suggest, generate a java proxy of ur inbound interface (reciever).
1. In the java proxy implementation method you will
have access to the message sent to the interface,
2. You could then use this message(XML) and Call ur
custom java program from the java proxy.
