  • How to attach image in BPM CustomJSP and view it

Hello everyone im new here ,
Is there any tutorial how to attach file into BPM Object ?
Im using Oracle BPM Studio 10.3.1
I have seen many tutorial how to attach file into BPM using fileChooser
    ( https://community.oracle.com/thread/880712  )
and succeed but my next problem is how to show image that i have been uploaded before

    Regards
    Shiddiq

    Hi Shiddiq,
You can get access to an uploaded file using the execData object.
For example, you can use execData.attachment[1].name to retrieve the file name of your first attachment.
Similartly use execData.attachment[1].contents to retrieve you first file contents in a base64 format.

  • How to install an entire directory structure and files with the LabVIEW installer

I think I may be missing something on how to do this - preserve a file directory structure in the LabVIEW build process.
Is there an easy way to distribute an entire directory structure (multiple directory levels/text files) and have the LabVIEW build process properly preserve and install them?   I included a directory in my build specification but it completely flattened the file structure and then so when the installer builds it, the resulting structure in the /data directory is flattened as well.    I'd prefer not to go through each file (~100) and setup a specific target location.   Is there an easy way to preserve the file structure in the build process/installer process that I am missing (maybe a check box that I didn't see or an option setting somewhere)?
    -DC

    Hi DC
Sorry for the delay in responding to your question.
You should be able to do this using a 'Source Distribution' as described below:
     - Right click on 'Build Specifications' and select 'New' - 'Source Distribution'
     - Provide a name
     - Add your files to 'Always included' under 'Source Files'
     - Under 'Destinations' select 'Preserve disk hierarchy' and ensure that 'Directory' is selected as the 'Destination type'
When building an installer your can then choose to include your source distribution and it will be installed to a location of your choosing.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to upload images to a DB and then view them in the site?

    Hi
I have a form, and i want it to insert some data on a DB, so
that the site can display that information. But i'm not able to
upload images or files, because dreamweaver does not have a file
    upload option.
I'm using PHP, can anyone help me on how to upload a image
and display it on the web site?

    > I don't think its possible to store files in a
    > database.
It is. But it's not a great way to do things.
    > store it's path in the DB
Actually, what you want to store in the DB is the filename
    only. Put the
path into the HTML. That way you don't have to change every
    record when you
    rename a folder.

  • How to display images in TextArea? and how to make some of the text clickab

    1) How do i make TextArea display images?
(example a client program, where people chat, put :) and get a smily image)
    2) For example if text is http://www.something.com in textArea, a person can click it, and my custom dialog will apear saying something about this link.......

This has been discussed very many times! It is solvable. Search the forum!
one way is to make a custom textarea extending Canvas, and painting the text in the paint() method. You need a paint method with drawString and drawImage calles to make it the way you describe it. You also need to add a MouseListener for detection of clicking.

  • How to edit images on local drive and then archive to external?

I have a Drobo that I use to archive my permanent lightroom archive and image files. Currently, everything lightroom resides on this external drive. But the Drobo is no where near as fast as my internal hard drive as far as read/write and seek speed. I was wondering if there is a fairly easy way for me to work with my most recent import of images off of my internal hard drive and then "move" the images to the drobo once my post-processing is complete. I'm thinking storing the catalog on my internal drive would make sense as well and then use lightroom's built in catalog backup feature to backup the catalog file to the external drive. Any suggestions for those of you out there using Drobos or other large external storage devices on some type of "best practice" would be great. I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere in the forum; I searched but I couldn't find anything.

You can do exactly that, I do it all the times. Import your photos to an internal drive, work on them, and once you're done with the major work, move the photos or folder(s) from within LR to your drobo. LR will keep track of where your photos are if you move them from within LR.
I even sometimes move an image to a tomporary directory on a local drive from my NAS storage before opening it in PSE, since the building of a large TIFF takes forever on my NAS. I then move it back after finishing my work.

I think that's a good way of handling it.
Please also be aware of the fact that the most important performance topics are access times to
    Catalog
    Previews
    ACR cache (!!)
Access time to the raw file itself is actually not the most important issue.

  • How to extract image from adobe from and upload to archive ?

    Hi,
is it possible to extract the image file uploaded into the offline form and store it to sap archive link?
we manage to extract that data into a string variable, and call 'ARCHIVOBJECT_CREATE_TABLE'  to store it into archive, the function module returns no error, but the uploaded document can not displayed correctly , i guess something wrong with the data type.
first i got a string from the image file embed in the pdf, then
convert it to a table then call the fm.
could you pls tell me what's wrong here?

    Hi Jun,
Do you want to store this image for an employee? If yes then you may try Function Module "ARCHIV_CREATE_FILE". This function module creates the archive link we used it to store the Image for an employees.
    ar_object = 'HRICOLFOTO'
    object_id = [employee personnel number]
    sap_object = 'PREL'
    doc_type = 'JPG'
path = [path for your image]
    Hope this helps you.

The problem when I pressed the button it does not display open dialog box what is the wrong with the code or else.
    Thanks in advance

What do you mean "it did not work"? You need to post more information, such as what errors you got.
My guess is that it did work, but it ran on the middle tier, which is where Forms is running. Commands like that need more work to execute on the client.
Go to the Forms area on OTN and download the Oracle9i Forms Samples. They have demos and source code to move files from the client to the server.
Coming soon will be a utility called WebUtil which will make this even easier.

  • Does anybody know how to pass images from DVT framework 2.6.1 to LabVIEW 7.0?

  • How to upload a template in sharepoint and send notification through labview?

    Hi,
i am trying to make a form in LabView and want to send notification through labview if possible and upload it on sharepoint site. Can it be done?
I am attaching the vi. in this i have few questions?
In front panel if you click STANDARD there will be several options through which we can choose from. For every  option which is clicked by user i need to get a pop up box in which there will be options which user want to choose. example if user select A then pop up box pops out and there will be 5 things in which he need to tick depending on what he wants. I tried to make case for each options but could not understand how to do it.
    And
How to make Submit, Exit, preview order buttons?
    Thank You

    WEB_TEST.vi ‏13 KB

    Hello Hnagpal,
I just wanted to clarify the question first. Are you basically wanting to create a LabVIEW VI that you can upload to a Microsoft SharePoint site, and then have users who go to the SharePoint site run this VI directly from the site, and essentially see the front panel on SharePoint site? If this is the case, I don't believe this currently supported in LabVIEW. There may be a way to do it by creating a web service with your VI first, and then using this web service file in conjunction with sharepoint, but that may be tricky to get working.
As for making case structures, the case structure you have in your VI will only run once (you need to put it in a while loop if you want the functionality of having it update when the user changes their selection). The case structure will choose the case that is selected when the user first runs the VI. You also need to put the code you want to run for each case inside the respective cases of the structure (I assume this was your next step since there is currently nothing inside the case structure).
To make various buttons, you can go to the front panel, right click and go to "modern" then "boolean" and put and "ok button" on your front panel. You can then change the name of the button to whatever you want and edit the text it displays (like Submit, Exit, or Preview). I hope this helps!
