How to work on Recommendations based on Health Check suggested by SAP

Hi GURU's,
My client has already implemented BI 7.0 and they have undergone a health check done by SAP.
And they wanted me to give my recommendations on that and I have done so.
But now, they would like to see a bit more detail on my recommendations. In particular, they want me to provide system related information on the following questions raised by them:
1. To identify the unwanted/unused aggregates or weak aggregates in the system and need to delete them. We also need to create or maintain few aggregates based on our requirement to improve the report performance.
2. To use OLAP Cache mode 1. Do all our queries use this cache mode or just some ? Can we change it globally to affect all queries and how big should our cache table be ?
3. Need to implement the Parameter settings suggested by SAP.
4. The ratio of number of entries in the dimension tables to fact tables should be reasonable. Please pass on details of this against cubes against the ZMPA1, ZMDSF1, ZMPCA1 multicubes.
The above recommendations were provided by me to the client based on the health check done by SAP. And I would like to know, how can I get the information required byt he client???
They are also looking at caching some commonly used reports and want to knowif I am able to provide them with information regarding the Top 20 queries used in the system per week, by multicube. The aim is to pre-calculate these queries at night to help with the user experience. Statistics are turned on in BWP.

As you said, you emp block is tabular, i think there is no need of check box. Just add a button in that block. So there is a button for each record and associate button click display the associate record details (you said to go another form and display)

    I'm not able to return elements without having their father being returned as well, I just want to iterate over those fields and, based on that verification, decide whether they should be returned or not.
    Can someone please advise?

  • How to create LDAP filter-based rule to check Group membership in OAM

    Hi folks,
    I'm having hard time creating an authorization rule to verify ldap group membership. I've followed "Configure User Authorization" article from Oracle website (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10761_01/doc/oam.1014/b32420/v2authz.htm#BABHBFEJI) and created an Authorization scheme w ldap_attribute_name as User Parameter and ruleExpression as Required Parameter. Then, inside my policy I created an Authorization Rule based on my Authz scheme w Allow Access attrib filter-based Rule which looks like this:
    ldap://ldap_server:port/ou=People,o=Company,c=US??sub?(ldap_attribute_name=ldap_attribute_value)
    This works fine.
    Now, I've added another filter-based rule under the same Authz Rule/Allow Access:
    ldap://ldap_server:port/ou=Groups,o=Company,c=US?uniqueMember?sub?(&(objectClass=groupOfUniqueNames)(cn=ldap_group_name))
    While query looks somewhat correct and works as a command-line argument (slightly modified format), it does not work in OAM (meaning people w out req-d group membership can still login).
    Can someone steer me to the right direction as to what do I need to do:
    1. Change/fix the ldap query
    2. Create new Authz scheme with uniqueMember userParameter; create new Authz rule based on new authz scheme; create new Allow Access filter rule with the ldap query I have
    3. Do smth else
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    You can create two authorization rules
    First for user with attribute
    and second for group
    and then in authorization expression you can have AND of these two.
    Regarding your query...
    First ... If your requirement is to give access to all the members of a particular group then you don't require any ldap filters
    All you have to do is in the authorization rule -> Allow access -> Select People (here you have to select group so click on the group tab, its little hard to see but its there in light blue color on dark blue tab) -> select the group you want to give access
    Second.. If your requirement is such that you want to give access to a member of a group which has certain attribute lets say group with status active ( In this case you are not aware of the name of the group because user can be a member of any group but you want to give access only to the group with specific attribute.) then you have to write custom authorization plugin.
    If the option is second let me know i can give you a solution which will work for a single domain without any effort of developing a major plugin.

  • Mini Store Doesn't Recommend Based On Selected Track

    I really like the Apple Mini Store and how it shows other songs or albums by the same artist that you're playing. What I can't understand is why it makes recommendations on some tracks but doesn't provide any info on others. I can't seem to find any common link to the tracks it finds and the ones it doesn't. For example, I have some tracks where I tell it to download the artwork and it finds the artwork without any problems. But when I look at the Mini Store, it's still showing the generic new release, new songs listing, not recommendations based on the song, album or artist. In fact, I can click on the arrows next to the song name and it takes me to the exact album in the store. I've made sure the spelling of everything on the track is exactly the same as iTunes has it listed but that doesn't even always work. Then there are some tracks which aren't for sale on iTunes but it shows others by the same artist and then of course I also see some that are exact matches but it's very inconsistent.
    Any ideas on why it seems to provide recommendations based on some tracks but not others?

    ... and one more thing. How do I send feedback to Apple regarding this? Previously, I found a "Feedback" page where an email could be sent to the ITunes Dept. Now , I can no longer find it, but rather a Contact iTunes Store Support page

    Usage of this add-in is: Let the user choose from a list of predefined datasets, and create a totally empty report with this dataset attached to is. So the user can create a report based on this dataset.
    I have a dataset in memory, and want to create a new report in cr2008.
    The new report is a blank report (with no connection information).
    If I set the ReportDocument.SetDataSource(Dataset dataSet) property, I get the error:
    The report has no tables.
    So I must programmatically define the table definition in my blank report.

    I have always done what you suggest (works fine in FCP7), but in FCPX when I do that the camcorder icon
    does not appear.  It only shows up when I DIRECTLY import the footage via firewire.  ????

    Hi,
    You need to have Back End support to achieve this. In Back End you need to create two groups . You need to know what joins has to be made for which group (which is more important) and also make session variable for the userrole (with SQL supporting it). In the BMM layer, we need to put the security join conditions in the 'where clause'.
    And make a common report. User loggin in with the respective userid will have userrole and joins assigned in the Back end. And they will be viewing the report according to their access.

         As we all know that, when IE gets a idoc's service name from SLD, then use it with idoc's message type and Idoc type to do receiver determniation, what about flat file ? how can we know its Service name and interface name  if there is only a flat file on FTP?  how IE works for Flat file ?

    Hi,
    For any idoc scenarious, you would use business systems rather than business service which is stored in SLD. So the IE would fetch it from SLD at runtime.
    For file based scenarious also, you can create business system as type third party and use the same.

  • How can I support a health check, from a load balancer?

    My company has load balancers which use health checks to determine if the end point is available for client traffic. The basic health check is a tcp ping, and will tell you if the device is on the network. The next level of health check is an http request. This request, and the response are static, you can’t create your own version of the request and response. The standard request is this:
         http://host:port/healthcheck/hc.html
    The standard response is this:
         “The server is available”
    I want to use the load balancer as part of my total deployment. The problem is that I am not seeing how to support this health check request and response in the MDEX engine. What I see is this request
         http://host:port/admin?op=ping
    Will return this response
         dgraph <host>: <port> responding at <day month year time>
    It is nice that there is a built in ping, but I am not able to make use of it. I am new to Endeca and still poking around. The dgraph process listens on a port set up in <…>/config/script/AppContext.xml

    In a standard tc Server install I can support this health check by doing this:
    * Create a directory named “healthcheck”, in the “webapps” directory.
    * Place a file name “hc.html” in that directory, which contains “The server is available”
    The one hack which comes to mind is to write a servlet which would be able to be a smart proxy for the load balancer health check. It would pass along any regular traffic to the MDEX engine. But if the request was a health check it would send “admin?op=ping” to the MDEX engine, and for a good response from the engine, create and pass back the correct response to the load balancer.

    Hi, we are using following String to test the MDEX ping response but we get the invalid version formation on dgraph.log -
    following is on F5

    Following gets logged on Dgraph.log

    Please let me know - if you have any suggestions to solve this issue.
    I know that it works from browser and wget from unix with following commands.

    When I pass wa_struc to structure_name parameter of create_nodeinfo_from_struc, i get a runtime error:
