i need to write format of date after the select option field in the selection screen.
its like..

Use selection-screen comment 1(31) text-005 -> this will give you format option.
See the below sysntax ,you have to use like this

Changing the Selection Screen on the selection of a radio button

Hi experts,
I am stuck with a situation here.
I have a selection screen with 2 blocks.
The first block contains 5 radio buttons.
The second block contains 7 select options fields.
Now i want to show different select options when the user selects different radio buttons.
For example, when the user selects radio button 1, select options 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 should be shown.
When the user selects radio button2, select options 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 should be shown.
How do i go about implementing this????
I guess i need to do the coding in event "AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT".
Should i use MODIF ID????
Please help.

Use AT SELECTION-SCREEN
not AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
cause output addition makes it a PBO not PAI
check ur requirement & use the events accordingly
group all select options under one group which you want to show on selection of radio button
under AT SELECTION-SCREEN
loop at screen and change the property "ACTIVE (0/1)" for the group you want
& don't forget to modify screen table in the end.
one more thing u should do is use addition USER-COMMAND with your radio buttons.
PARAMETERS : r1 RADIOBUTTON GROUP r1 USER-COMMAND f1,
             r2 RADIOBUTTON GROUP r1.
PARAMETERS : p1 TYPE c MODIF ID a,

SHD0 - Selection screen of the variant appears without changes after saving

Dear all,
I created a variant for the transaction MB11 with SHD0.
In the selection screen, I hide various fields.
When I run the variant everything is working normally.
But after saving the document, the selection screen appears again without the hidden fields.
Any ideas how to avoid, after saving, the selection screen without the hidden fields?

Thanks for your response.
I checked the link. When I have created the transaction variant I used a similar procedure.
My issue is that, when I used the variant, I loop again on the selection screen at the end. And it doesn't have the chagnes i made.

Hi Arun,
Try this.
1, Set one dynamic parameter,
2, Drag and drop that parameter into your report title.
3, Pass the value(sort value) dynamically from your application,
4, Cheers..
Other wise Try with Dataset, create a dataset and fill thev alue into that.. Then set the data source from CR designer. and darg and drop that data column into the report.

How to replace the existing selection screen with new selection screen

Hi,
I have first selection screen with parametre as a table name, then I have created dynamic selection screen as 2nd selection screen with different fields of that table as select options. This is done using genaration of dynamic report. Now If I click on button on this 2nd selction screen , then I want to replace this 2nd dynamic selection screen , with the other selection screen fields.
Can anybody guide me, How to do replace one slection screen with different selection screen.
and one imp thing is this selction screen is populating with dynamic fields on it.

As I can understand you want to make some of the screen field to disable or visible on screen depending upon the interaction of user with screen 1.
You may use this example code in PBO of screen 2.

Hi Rani,
I faced a similar issue (for what I understand your request is).
My requirement for the Variable Screen was to do:
1) place a link to a ppt file
2) remove buttons "Save", "Save As...), "Delete"... the standard buttons come when running the Query or WebTempl
We were using a Web Templ for BI7.0
I struggled trying to find out how to do it. My conclusions are:
- WAD, not sure we can accomplish it using a Web Template but i did not "play" a lot with the Web_Template Properties in order to know
- XHTML, I was told in my post HTML modification was the way, but I have close to nil background in HTML and couold not find the way of accessing the Variable Entry screen
For instance, I had to remove similar buttons and change some font size from a link on the Web Template (WAD), which was pretty straight forward. In WAD the buttons come with its own icon and to increase the Font size for that link we used XHTML (). But the heck of the variable screen...well, i just did not get trhough to it to modify it in any way.

parameter: pa_check as checkbox.
To define the input field of a parameter as a checkbox, you use the following syntax:
PARAMETERS ...... AS CHECKBOX ......
Parameter is created with type C and length 1. In this case, you may not use the additions TYPE and LIKE. Valid values for are ' ' and 'X'. These values are assigned to the parameter when the user clicks the checkbox on the selection screen.
If you use the TYPE addition to refer to a data type in the ABAP Dictionary of type CHAR and length 1 for which 'X' and ' ' are defined as valid values in the domain, the parameter automatically appears as a checkbox on the selection screen.

Calling the selection screen of the calling program after the execution of

Hi all,
I had created a program for a purchase order display.
It has three radio-buttons from where i am calling different programs.
I am using submit in the calling program and get parameter in at selection-screen output of the called program.
I am getting the end report without the display of the selection screen of called program. But when i am clicking back on the end-report then i want to come back on the selection screen of the calling program. But i am coming out of the execution.
Can anyone please tell me how to call the selection screen.

Hi, when you do the SUMBIT statement, make sure that you are using the extension........ AND RETURN.
Submit <report> AND RETURN.
This should return control to the caller.

How to pass value from the Z Report to the selection screen of the std rep

Dear Experts,
i have developed a report and the values are maintained only in internal table based on some condition. When I execute the report, for example MM60, there is a material number field for multiple selection.
the report should call the standard transaction and pass the values from the internal table to the multiple selection- material number of the standard transaction.
the standard transaction should never get executed automatically. Only the value should get passed from internal table to the standard t code. Please help.

Back to selection screen after error

Hello ABAPers,
I have a executable program (REPORT) to do some processing (e.g. read a standard table with the parameters and select-options and save the data in a Z table).
When occurs an error (e.g. when sy-subrc <> 0 after select) and a message of type E is showed, the program show the message in a "clean" screen with title SAP. Then, after ENTER or ESC, it leaves to initial screen of SAP (SAP Easy Access).
The message of type E is triggered from a routine (FORM) called from START-OF-SELECTION event. And the program don´t write nothing in list (only return a status message if everithing is ok).
How can I force the program to back to selection screen after some error?

Do the following for your requirement.
in the message give the following
start-of-selection.
Perform <routine>.
Form <routine>.
if <condition>.
message 'xxxx' type 'S' display like 'E'.
exit.
endif.
endform.
This way the control returns to selection screen even after the message is triggered.
