Calling the selection screen of the calling program after the execution of

Hi all,
I had created a program for a purchase order display.
It has three radio-buttons from where i am calling different programs.
I am using submit in the calling program and get parameter in at selection-screen output of the called program.
I am getting the end report without the display of the selection screen of called program. But when i am clicking back on the end-report then i want to come back on the selection screen of the calling program. But i am coming out of the execution.
Can anyone please tell me how to call the selection screen.

Hi, when you do the SUMBIT statement, make sure that you are using the extension........ AND RETURN.
Submit <report> AND RETURN.
This should return control to the caller.

the first step is to pass some values to the selection screen, at least Date From and Date To; otherwise, it´ll take a long time. The second step is to emulate the Execute button, which is done with '/08'.
PERFORM fields USING 'BDC_OKCODE' '/08'.

Calling the selection screen of report with data for the selection field

I have the selection screen with 2 fileds.
sales order and payment terms.
My requirement is to update the payment terms into the ztable for the given order.
Sometimes the payment terms will be there ie already maintained ,in that case i need to show to the user the existing payment term ,so that he can modify and save that one.If the payment term is not existing then simply i can go inside the program and update the payment term.
What I thought of doing is , writing a report program and then after the user inputs the selection screen ie order number , I Will check in the ztable and if the payment terms is found then i will use the key word leave list processing. But i dont know how to populate the payement term in the selection screen oncegaing from the program

you want to show payment term, on selection screen itself, in parameter 2.
We can use the event
AT SELECTION-SCREEN.
Eg. PO Number <----

If you enter PO Number, the system will show the corresponding user in parameter2.

i have a requirement that i want to use the selection screen entry of my zmodule pool to the selection screen of a zreport and want to use its output in my module pool.
how could i do this in my module pool programing??

You can use SUBMIT statement in your module program to call the zreport program in background.
Press F1 on Submit statement and you will find required detials of this statement. For using submit statement
you have to create an internal table of type RSPARAMS and pass it in the submit statement.
eg.

How to clear all selection screen parameters before calling transaction?

 I have a ABAP report that displays data using ALV.
When I double click a cell it calls transaction MB51. Before calling the transaction I need to set some parameters of the selection screen of the transaction.
My code is like below:

The problem is:
<UL> <LI> 1. First, I run the given transaction before running the report in a separate session with some set of values in the selection screen. For example: plant = AB01, Material = 990001 and Batch = 10001.</LI>

 <LI> 2. Then in another session I run my report. In the report ALV I have selected a record where plant = AB01, Material = 990001 but Batch is blank. But it opens the transaction with plant = AB01, Material = 990001 and Batch = 10001.
Even though in my ALV record the batch is blank yet it uses the batch value from the memory. That is, the batch value that was given in the transaction earlier. Why it is not getting cleared? I have also used FREE MEMORY ID code in the beginning. But still it is not clearing the values in the memory.

Its because sap memory is globally shared.
Do it like this.

Clear download path in the selection screen

Hi All,
Im facing the problem in the selection screen.
User wants to clear the selection screen download path when they are changing the radio button one to another another radio button. this is as below
PARAMETERS::pa_werks like ekpo-wekrs,
                         pa_path like string.

How to limit the search help in the selection screen?

The selection option is displayed on the selection screen without a 'to' field. The pushbutton for calling the "Multiple Selection" screen appears immediately after the 'from' field.
This addition thus allows you to generate a simplified display on the selection screen. This is particularly useful if you are not making any range selections for this selection option.
Notes
On the "Multiple Selection" screen, you can also enter ranges for selection options with "NO INTERVALS".
By combining this addition with "NO-EXTENSION", you can restrict the user to entry of a single value for the selection option, but with the possibility of also choosing single value options like 'Greater than' or 'Less than or equal'.
By using the addition " NO INTERVALS" with SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK, you can activate the simplified display for all selection options in a block.
The function module SELECT_OPTIONS_RESTRICT allows you to restrict the set of selection options available for a SELECT-OPTION (for example, only single values and patterns, i.e. 'EQ' and 'CP' are allowed). You can also forbid the leading sign 'E' (= 'Exclude from selection'). This means that you can considerably restrict the selections which can be entered on the selection screen.
Just now tried it out to limit the search help u have to use NO-EXTENSION.
Try this simple code.
Tables: mara.
SELECT-OPTIONS: s_matnr FOR MARA-matnr NO-EXTENSION.

Problem with Hiding fields of selection screen which is called as subscreen

I have problem while hiding the selection screen which is called as subscreen.
Flow of my logic:
Selection-screen with one field and three buttons CREATE,DISPLAY and CHANGE in application toolbar.
user enter some value in field and either he press change or dispaly
When change i need to call selection screen when it is in dispaly i need to stop calling this selection screen.
Upto my knowledge we can't stop calling selection screen in display mode so there is only one possibility is hiding the fields when it is in display mode.
How can i hide the fields and where i need to hide fields?
Please post some codes.

How to create the selection screen dynamically

I have a requirement to create the selection screen Dynamically. All the fields that should appear on the selection screen will be available in a custom table. So, based on the entries available in the Z tables, the selection screen should be built. Eg. If there are 10 records available in the Z table, the selection screen should consist of 10 fields. If there are 100 entries, the Selection screen should contain 100 fields. and the logic to build this selection screen should be carried out dynamically in the program.
Could anyone of you please share the valuable inputs on this. If anyone has the sample code to do this, please share.

Hide an item on the selection screen

Hi Gurus!
I have a selection screen with material number on it whose refernec is use din my program for it. I would like to just hide the material selection on the selection screen but let it be on the report as its been used in the program . Is theer a ways I can hide it in my select options itself rahther than going into the elemnet list and making it invisible . Because I made it invisible through element list but when I trasported to QAT it dosent seem to work , or maybe not getting transported . So is there a way I can just hide it in my sleect options .

HIDE : s_matnr.
This is used in interactive reporting not for hiding selection screen fields!
For your requirement you have two solutions:
1) create a variant on selection screen (what you have probably already done) hiding your screen field. To see the changes in QUA system, you have to transport this variant there and use it when running the program.
2) adjusting your code to hide this select-option field in PBO of the screen by default

         screen-invisible = 'X'.
         modify screen.
      endif.
   ENDLOOP.
First solution together with [transaction variants|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/7d/f639f8015111d396480000e82de14a/frameset.htm] gives great flexibility to adjust system according to specific user requirement, the latter, however provides very easy (and commonly used) way to adjust selection screen from ABAP program itself.
