HOW TO WRITE SUBSITUTION FOR BUSINESS AREA FOR T CODE F-29 AS A DEFAULT .
Can anybody give me the inputs in detail to make the Business area by default mode while selecting one particular GL to post the entries as our users are selecting the business areas wrongly while posting the accounting entries.

We are recent users of CRM onDemand, we would like to write some workflow rules but cannot seem to find any information on how to do this. The help section is limited in answers, and some of the questions here are also not specific to what we would like to do.
Does anyone have any advice on books, web sites, etc. on where to find the knowledge we need on how to write the workflow rules and use SQL and expressions in CRM on Demand?

For your first case:
1. You cannot create a workflow in r15 for activity but in R16 you can
Create new to create a workflow
Name: Auto email send
record type: activity
trigger: when new record saved
rules: put your rules by clicking on the fx icon i.e this is where you are entering the rule saying the owner is different from the person who is creating the activity or the delegated field is filled (another way of looking at it)
then save the workflow
In the actions section
choose the action "Create Email Notification"
In the To: Section choose "Relative User on Record" and Choose "Activity Owner"
Save it. Make sure both the workflow and activity are marked active.
2. In your second scenario:
How do you expect to create an account and automatically populate the Sales rep's name - not sure
But you can create an opportunity and auto fill with the Account Owner's name by using this in the field validation (you do not need the workflow), you can use the FieldValueJoin function.

Any body please tell me how to write a HFM rule for the following scnario.
Pull<Parent Currency> value for base members from ACTUAL_EURO scenario and replaces <Parent Currency> value of for base members in ACTUAL scenario. At the end of this process, the actual scenario holds functional currency in <Entity Currency>, EURO in <Parent Currency>.

How to write the TQTR rule ?

Dear all !
Would you like to tell me how to create a rule to accrue 0.5 leaves every haft of month on SAP system .
if on the 15th (or the end of month 28th, 30th or 31st), the employee worked fully during the half of month, he/she has 0.5 day. That means if he/she started working Not on the 1st of month, or had at least 1 day leave without pay, he/she doesnu2019t get 0.5 day.
I don't know how to write a rule, what're the steps to do it?
Please help me to solve my problem.

HI EVERY ONE,
I HAVE A REQUIREMENT WORKING ON MM , I HAVE SOME BUSINESS RULES IN FUNCTIONAL DESIGN DOCUMENT AND I NEED TO WRITE THE TECH DESIGN . MY QUESTION IS HOW TO ADD BUSINESS RULES IN TECH SPEC. EXAMPLE I HAVE FINAL DUE DATE AS BUSINESS RULE i.e,
Final Due Date = Baseline Date + Maximum Day Term
If Clearing Date is = Final Due Date = Invoice is Paid-On Time
If Clearing Date is < Final Due Date = Invoice is Paid Early.
If Clearing Date is > Final Due Date = Invoice is Paid Late
I have the data available for Final Due date from R3 .
So after creating the Info Object( characteristic), where can I add this formula for that Z INFO OBJECT ? I have total of 5 business rules like this in my funtional doc

Hi Harish,
With the assumptions:
1. You are using a BI 2004s system
2. The fields Baseline Date, Clearing Date & Maximum Day Term are being sourced from R/3
The rules can be coded into the End Routine in the Transformation.
If you are using a BW 3.x system, this logic can be coded in the Start Routine at the Transfer Rules or the Start Routine at the Update Rules.

How to apply validation rule for View Object (VO) attributes?

How to add Validation Rules to VO attributes, just like EO Business Rules?
I got 2 problem with that:
1. VO can join multiple tables, and the attribute's validation rules may reference to the fields from multiple entities.
2. Since the EO Validation Rules only execute before the data actually write to entity (Commit operation). But user may need to input data from multiple pages with only 1 commit.
I am using JDeveloper 11g with ADF BC.

Just something to point out, the EO validation doesn't fire on a commit (if you mean commit as in the database/AppModule commit). You can also access VO information from the EO validation rules by using view accessors.

Hi,
One thing I understood my your issue is you want to perform, execution of query once or fetch the results sets my minimizing the number of times executions of queries. It would be hard for us to check in this way, atleast provide some temporary data and some business rules. Only I can IN, >, < (queries logical conditons on inner query)

Hi Rajesh,
If you are concerned only about the profit center balances, you can process a manual reclass entry to correct the profit centers. Substitution rules are applied only before posting an entry. eg: While processing an entry profit center "a100" should automatically changed to "b100".

I think you can make it with something like this:
Write a PCR in schema, you can call the rule with "actio";

Hi Experts,
I am working on BI 7, As I want to write a start routine in transformations of 0FIGL_O02 DSO, to allow the GL accounts with cost center data. Already there is a delete statement please find.
*DELETE SOURCE_PACKAGE where BAL_FLAG = 'X'. I had made comment to allow the G/L accounts. since I have some GL Accounts which does'nt have the cost center data, so in this case I have to write a ABAP code to allow this G/L accounts with cost center data.
So Let me know if anyone can help me how to write the ABAP code in the start routine.

Hi,
            Yopu can write the below lines of code adn try
    SORT source_package BY Receive nr Type ASCENDING.
    DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES FROM source_package COMPARING Receive nr Type.
But you should make sure which record of the either rows need to deleted
i.e in
F9001;LU;J001;662;
F9001;LU;J002;662
You need to decide to eliminate 1st or 2nd one.(depends on your requirement)
