How Web server identify which app server domain it should connect to

Hi All,
I have installed -
application server and created an app server domain HR84DEV.
Web server and created a web server domain peoplesoft
As you all know, to start web server we need to make sure that app server has already been started so as the database server moreover hence, I have first started database instance HR84DEV then started app server domain HR84DEV followed by web server domain peoplesoft
App server knows very well which database instance it should connect to since we mention it on app server configuraiton.
But, How web server domain peoplesoft identifys the app server domain HR84DEV to which it is connected since we nowhere mention the name of app server domain while installing PIA but just JSL/HTTP port and host name.

Connection between webserver and appserver is defined in the configuration.properties file to be found in
\webserv\peoplesoft\applications\peoplesoft\PORTAL.war\WEB-INF\psftdocs\[site]
file contains the entry

If the webserver cannot connect to your appserver, make sure you can ping the appserver and/or adjust your hosts file to reflect the appserver.

How can I identify which apps on my iPad are the largest?

According to iTunes and my System Status app, my iPad is using 96.7% of its disk space (27.6GB of 28.6). I'm trying to figure out which apps are taking up so much space. iTunes says I'm using 16.21GB for 257 apps. When I go into user/music/itunes/itunes media/mobile applications it shows 272 items using 7.26GB. I thought the 9GB difference might be related to data within the app however when I browse through the apps in the App tab of iTunes I only see about 1.8GB of data. So I'm trying to figure out where this 7.2GB of missing app space is located. Any ideas?

Thank you. It did not occur to me that the information in that section would be different than what is in iTunes. While it still raises questions (like why on the iPad video is 2.9GB but in iTunes it's 4.78GB), I can see the actual size of the app+data. Thanks!!

HOW i can identify which instance is associated with which Listener

Hi all,
i created one DB instance. suppose named as "B". but there is already another DB instance present. Named as "A".
Then i created one listener for DB instace "B".
Now my Que. is that HOW i can identify which instance is associated with which Listener,.
2) if i create listener then a service also created. if i stopped that service and then can i fire query OR Login again, WHAT will be the expected result.
I tried by asking people for my answer. but not satisfied.
Please Help me For this.

1) download and install VMplayer (vmware.com). It is legally free. For an investment in your career of about US$185, you can buy VMworkstation, which has the same fundamental capability plus some nice management features.
2) download and install Oracle Enterprise Linux (oracle.com). It is legally free. If you want a support contract, you pay for that.
3) using (1) and (2) create a virtual linux server

How can I tell which apps were purchased on my account?

I did search for answers but couldn't find one that fit.
I have an iPhone and so does our son.
Early on my son purchased apps on my account and downloaded them on HIS iphone. Eventually, I got him his own iPhone account and so he has also purchsed apps on his own account and downloaded them on his phone.
When we open iTunes and connect his phone, there is a list of apps that are on his phone.
QUESTION
How can we tell which apps were purchased on HIS iTunes acct and which were purchased on MY iTunes acct?
I don't want to DO anything with the apps, I just want to know one from another.

Based on the type of file you are trying to open.
If its a PDF you want a PDF reader, if its a Word file you need some type of compatible Writing App etc...

I think that is influenced by the order in which the apps are installed on the iPad (I believe that it's the most recent 10 ?) - but as I haven't got more than 10 apps that support any document/file type I can't check.

Just go to "Settings > iCloud" scroll down and delete the account, if you don't want to use it on your phone anymore. After you delted it from your device you will be able to sign in again to use another one for iCloud.

About the only other way I can think of is to have a computer with you or use one there, if you can put iTunes on it and download all your new stuff to the computer, then sync your iPad to that computer.
In switching computers you will lose previous content, but, as I understand it anyway, downloaded content will be the same as long as the same apple ID is used.

but now i am going to register the domail say MyProduct.com after this i want when ever i enter MyProduct.com in address bar it should take me to welcome page. How exactly to do this??
2. Currently i have hard coded ip at many places

So removing the Ip with domain name should work.
Can any one please tell me which all configuration files need to be modified. Procedure to be followed

Web server domain hosting help

Hi, I purchased the mac server for my mac mini and I'm in the process of getting my website set up for hosting. But I've become stuck
Here is what I have done so far:
- I have set my IP to be a static IP and can access my Lion Server webpage by typing its local IP (192.168.1.7) on any machine in my local network. I can also type the domainname.local to access the site
- I have registered my preferred domain name
What I am having trouble with is accessing the website via my registered domain name
In researching it seems like I have to make it so that my router's public IP forwards to my lion server webpage local ip, and that I then need to use dynamic dns to attach my router's public ip to my domain name. Is this correct? Am I missing any steps? How do I go from where I am to being able to access my page by typing mydomainname.com ?

How to reach a web server with a GPRS connection?

Hello,
We have developed a cRio Datalogger and we control it by a remote panel with the cRio connected in our LAN.
Now we want to do the same connecting the cRio with a GPRS Modem-Router from Multitech (a Multimodem with DynDns capabilities). The problem is that our provider of GPRS service give a private IP, so we can't access the cRio from internet.
We did a test with an example that comes with Labview, a multiclient TCP connection, we run the client vi in a PC connected to internet with the GPRS Modem and the server in another PC in our LAN. The example runs perfect. In the client vi we added some indicators to show the network address an the remote port, but we can't open a remote panel of the client vi from the PC running the server vi, using the information collected. The network address it isn't a IP number is a name and for our surprise the remote port number is diferent that the port used by the example.
Conclusion, we can do a TCP/IP connection if the communication is started by the Device with the GPRS Modem but we can't do the opposite. The problem is the same to have a web server running in a PC in a LAN and want to reach it from internet without having access to the router configuration.
And because the remote front panel connection is started by the PC who want to open it we can't make it work.
Any idea, is possible what we want to do?

Hi Community,
since Friday my iPhone 4 startet using huge amounts of mobile data and rapidly wastes battery lifetime (50% in 3 hous!) It also gets quite warm even when I don't use it at all.
I suspect an app does this, because in flight mode battery is ok.
How do I find out which app is to blame without having to uninstall all apps?
