How/why would my new ipad that was plugged into a computer for the firs time today be authorized to 4 computers when it has only been plugged into one?

You're iPad is not authorized, your computer is. You've authorized 4 computers for use with iTunes.

You can't, i'm sorry. What you're running into is the activation lock and it requires that the original owner release it with their apple ID before you can set it up.

You are not communicating with Apple by posting here. Everyone here is just a fellow user and cannot fix anything.
The Find My iPad service may have indeed been accurate to the limits of the technology. Unless the iPad was a 3G unit, location is determined based on the nearest WiFi router which in your case could just happened to have been yours. The police may be the ones who need to "fix" their understanding of how the technology works and its limitations.

but to be of any good you'll have to provide them with more precise details.

Yes, you will just need a plug adapter to charge it (you don't need a converter).
If it's an AT&T 3G model then you should be able to just swap in a local micro-sim card; if it's a Verizon 3G model then they are CDMA based and don't use micro-sim cards, so you won't be able to directly use it on 3G networks here (you could use an iPhone as mobile hotspot for it or get a mifi device). -

FormsCentral form files are stored on the FormsCentral servers. If you are the author or a co-author of the form you can access it from any machine by logging into FormsCentral. If you aren't the author or a co-author of the form you will need to contact the author and have them share the form with your FormsCentral account. I got the new iPhone5 back in Dec, I hooked it up to my computer for the 1st time this wk. It deleted all new data added since Dec (notes,contacts,texts,pics, info added to apps) and reverted back to all my old data (literally uploaded all of my old texts and 1400 old pics and deleted anything new). How can I retrieve all the lost data?? Please help!!

How do you delete old music that it don't want anymore for the iOS 7 update. It gave me all the music I deleted in the past. I tried going to settings and turning off music from the past and it got rid of my music I recently purchased.

The answer to how to delete a song on your phone in iOS7 is found on page 62 of the iPhone User's Manual:

Specifically:
Remove a song from iPhone. Tap Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

i plugged my iphone into my computer for the first time to charge it and was in a hurry and walked away, when i returned the add apple i tunes account information screen was up.....
my problem is, all my pictures got deleted from my phone, all my contacts got deleted also......weird thing is it put pictures on my phone from another phone and also txt msg from another phone...... has this ever happened to anyone else? if so,....do you know how, or where the pictures got moved to? and if they were deleted, is there a way to pull deleted pictures form a phones memory?? thank you any body that can give me any assistance....i really need it...It can't do that by itself. You had to click through several prompts telling it to restore it from a backup of an old phone for that to happen.
If the phone was not backed up to iCloud before this happened, or to another computer, then the data is gone. There is no way to recover it. -

Try restoring from the backup created at the beginning of the sync process:
Without connecting your phone, open iTunes, go to Preferences, on the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically"
Connect your phone, right-click on the name of your phone when it appears on the left sidebar in iTunes
Select Restore from backup, choosing your most recent backup to restore from
Disconnect your phone and confirm that your photos are back
Go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and re-enable automatic syncing. -

Can you try to use another computer?
If this does not work, visit an Apple Store or an Authorized Apple Service Provider next to your place, and show them the phone, maybe they can restore it before you'll have to get it serviced.

Pls share ur ideasAs kajbj said - you need to store a token / file with a run date on the file system. Each time the application runs, have it compare with the date from this file with the current date. If different, it's the first run of the day. If not, it is not the first run of the day. Each time have it update the date on the file.
