Changing your payment information using a computer
Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Sign In.
Enter your Apple ID and password and click Sign In.
Choose Store > View Account.
Enter your account password and click View Account.
From the Apple Account Information page, click Edit to the right of Payment Type.
Note: You can find the payment methods that the iTunes Store accepts in the Payment Type section. If you don't want a payment method on your account, select None in the Payment Type section.
Click the Done button after you've updated all of your information.

Both iPhones use the same size SIM Cards. You will be able to simply transfer the iPhone 5 SIM Card to the iPhone 5C SIM Card Tray.

Sign into your iTunes account and change your password. If your password was stored on the device that should prevent purchases being made on it.
If you had enabled Find My iPhone you can attempt to locate, lock or remotely wipe the device.

Then purchase iTunes gift cards which you can redeem from the iTunes Store to make purchases. Be aware, that the None option is not available in all counties.

You cannot transfer your Apple ID Balance between accounts.
To remove your credit card from your account:
* In iTunes, go to your Account Information page.
* The second row down says "payment information" - click "Edit >" over to the right of it.
* The "Edit Payment Information" screen comes up.
* Where it says "Please select a payment method", choose "None".
* Your credit card information will be forgotten.
