Howto use zipped-file for payload?

hi experts,
in our interface, we get a message with a zipped xml-document. so i have to change the "main payload" to the attachment and then unzip the file.
to swap the payload i used the following entry in the "modul"-tab:
AF_Modules/PayloadSwapBean, local enterprise bean, transform
keys:
transform, swap.keyName, payload-name
transform, swap.keyValue, attachment-1
--> i think this works, because in the response message i see only the payload "attachment-1"
but i am not able to unzip the file.
i used the PayloadZipBean with the following values:
AF_Modules/PayloadZipBean, local enterprise bean, unzip
keys:
unzip, zip.mode, unzip
what am i doing wrong, or did i forgot something?
thx 4 your help!

Hi dieter,
in your sender CC (tab module), try that:
Processing Sequence:
Nbr     Module Name                     Type                    Module Key
1     AF_Modules/PayloadZipBean     Local Enterprise Bean     unzip
2     AF_Modules/PayloadSwapBean     Local Enterprise Bean     swappayload
3     CallSapAdapter                     Local Enterprise Bean     0
Module Configuration:
Module Key               Parameter Name     Parameter Value
swappayload          swap.keyName     content-type
swappayload          swap.keyValue     application/xml
unzip                     zip.mod         unzip

  • Captivate 4 - zipping files for LMS

I am zipping files for the LMS for a SCORM compliant course.  When zippnig it, it will not zip and it will not give me SCORM_support.js files.  None of my js files will show up.  Any idea why this is happening?
This is what I should be getting.
This is what I am getting

I think we'll have to look at your settings for SCORM and Manifest. This is what I'm normally getting when zipping a CP4-file into a SCORM-object:
In the SCORM-map are the needed HTM, JS and SWF. And I'm using SCORM 1.2

  • Where to download the webcentertutorialcontent.zip file for JDev 10.1.3.x?

A quick question for the download location of the webcentertutorialcontent.zip file for version 10g (10.1.3.2 or later).
I am going through the Oracle WebCenter Framework Tutorial 10g (10.1.3.2.0) (document id B31072-02) to gain an understanding of the working mechanism of portlets. The tutorial requires the use of the webcentertutorialcontent.zip file to set up the sample application, and points to http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/webcenter/files/webcentertutorialcontent.zip for downloading the file.
But that page has been updated to 11g. I was able to find the archived old versions of webcenter, but not that zip file.
It would very much appreciated if someone knows and let me know where it is.
    Many thanks!
    Newman

On this page: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/webcenter/documentation/index.html you have a list of all files.
At the bottom in the Oracle WebCenter 10g (10.1.3.x) section you have a part: Building a WebCenter Application Step by Step Guide with a link to the supported files: http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/tech/webcenter/files/SRDemo_App_Download.zip
This is from the 10g version...
You are right that 11g applications does not run on a 10g app server. Oracle 11g fusion middelware uses weblogic as an application server. This does not use the OC4J container anymore.
11g and 10g have a different licence so if you are using 10g and you want to use 11g, you need to buy a licence for weblogic and so on.
If you are currently looking into the use of webcenter/portlets and you are planning to use it later on, than oracle will propose 11g because i don't think 10g is supported... I don't think you can buy a webcenter 10g license..
By the way... You can install jdeveloper 11g in a sepperate middelware folder than your 10g version. This means that you easily can use them together. If you are planning on using webcenter, the best thing to do is install jdeveloper 11.1.1.3 (latest stable version) and install the webcenter extension. This allow you to easily create portlet producers and webcenter applications. You can easily deploy them on the integrated server. This is a lot easier than in the 10g release.

  • Regarding classes12.zip files for JDBC usage

    Hello friends,
I need classes12.zip file for oracle 10g database, & where we need to place them....
    Regards,
    sai.

    Hello sai,
I need classes12.zip file for oracle 10g databaseI'd recommend to download "general" JDBC drivers from the corresponding OTN page: [url http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/features/jdbc/index-091264.html]. I'm not sure if you really want the "classes12.zip", as these drivers are for the outdated Java versions 1.2 and 1.3. Especially these do not (fully) support the current 11.2 XE release. If you can, choose the most recent 11.2 driver download that fits to the JDK version you actually want to use, e.g.      ojdbc6.jar for JDK 6. If you really need to old classes12.zip, you'll find the latest version of these in the [url http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/jdbc-10201-088211.html]JDBC drivers for 10.2.
where we need to place them....You need to place them in the classpath of the application that is supposed to use them. Since you didn't tell us anything about it, that's really hard to tell.

  • Option to always use sidecar files for XMP

Lightroom gives you the option to write metadata to XMP files, which is convenient if you want to share data with other programs (ACR, various DAM programs). In the beta versions, this data would always be stored in .XMP sidecar files, presumably for safety reasons. However, V1 writes the XMP data into the image file itself for those formats that support it (DNG, JPG, TIFF).
I would really like to have the option to *force* Lightroom to use sidecar files for XMP data, like the betas did. The current V1 behavior (embedding data) is quite inefficient for fairly common backup scenarios.
For example, I tend to back up all my raw files onto DVD after importing and culling. In addition I make a daily backup of all metadata that gets sent over the internet to a web server - a relatively small upload. What happens if I use DNG for my raw files and update something as small as a keyword? Indeed, *all* of the corresponding DNG files are modified, and because my backup software cannot know that only the XMP data has changed, all files must be burned to DVD again. If the metadata were stored in sidecar files, a simple, efficient metadata backup would take care of things.
To implement this, a simple switch in the preferences would suffice, and the necessary code is already there. The only possible problem is the occurrence of two files with identical names, excluding the extension. For this case, I can see four different 'solutions':
    1) Force XMP metadata to be synchronized between files with equal names
    2) Make an .XMP sidecar file for only one of the files (always the raw file, for example)
    3) Update the XMP specification to specify what should be done in this situation (maybe include the file extension in the XMP data)
    Reards,
    Simon

Actually, I don't (notice the 'if' :)). And this is only one of the reasons. I just picked DNG as an example, to keep things simple and because it seems Adobe wants DNG to work well for photographers.
However, the same applies to JPG and TIFF images. I often end up changing details in the metadata after the image has been finished. For example, to correct the spelling in a keyword that has been applied to half the images in my database... Talking about a nightmare scenario!

    Steve,
I appreciate your answer.  While it might work, I'm a bit hesitant to remove the other programs as a possible solution since they are all currently working.
With Acrobat 9 Pro failing with the OS 10.7 upgrade, I'm hoping that there is a less severe solution.
Since the trigger appears to be 10.7 and may have something to do with the discontinued support of Rosetta, I could be spending a few hours working on a reinstall without a change.  Yes, it might work.  The "might" is the part that makes me hesitate.
Is anyone else out there on OS 10.7 and running Acrobat 9 Pro?  Any issues with anyone else?
Thanks Steve.  I do appreciate your offering a solution.  I may end up trying it if nothing else comes together.

    hello to all
I am familar with ASM and NFS but I don't know what is mean of using NFS file for ASM
can you explain for me ? or do you know manual for this on WEB ?

I don't think ASM via NFS is optimal.
You need to create your NFS mounts. Then use dd to create files in your various NFS mounts and then present these files to ASM as disks.

  • How do you use zip files?

    Hello all,
I have always stayed away from ZIP files (as in doing it myself, to my own files), since my days in Windows, after all the countless corrupt ZIP files I received from others, that simply would not UNzip...
But recently I've come across references to them again, and I realised I might be missing a trick or two....
Any comments on the following would be appreciated:
1.) What can I use them for?
As in - could I ZIP my entire folder of holiday pictures - all 13GB's of them?
Or is there some sort of size limit, where anything over, and things become problematic?
Are some file types Zipped better than others?
2.) How does it actually work?
As in - what happens to my original files?
Assume the holiday pics are Zipped - do the orginals get compressed, or can I select it so that copies are Zipped, as a kind of backup?
    3.) How safe is it?
As in - assuming my hardware and software are all OK, nothing buggy etc. - if I create the ZIP file, pop it somewhere on a USB/External/the same laptop, and then Unzip it later, when I need them again - am I correct in assuming that the chances of the file being corrupted, are relatively slim?
And coming back to those holiday pics - could the compression process result in a loss in picture quality/resolution, were I to then unzip the file? Or - assuming everything works as planned - will the quality of the pictures/file emerge exactly the same as they were prior to being compressed?
I realise all of the above are ridiculously simple questions - but googling this doesn't really help, as most sites simply explain the how to, not the WHY...
The WHY articles were probably all written 15 years ago already... I'm just very, very far behind....
    Thanks in advance!
[Mid-2012 MBP 8GB Ram; OSX ML]

Zipping an image file should have no effect on image quality, as the image data is not actually changed.
Note that there's very little point in zipping a folder full of images, unless the images are not a compressed file type. You can't compress data that is already compressed - in fact, trying to do so often increases the file size - and JPEG images, for example, are already compressed.
For the most part, you don't need to use zip at all. I absolutely DO NOT recommend storing your files and/or folders on the hard drive in compressed form as a space-saving measure. It doesn't save enough space to be worth the time needed to compress files large enough to warrant it on a modern drive. Accessing zipped files is a pain, too, since you basically have to decompress the whole thing in order to access a file inside a zip file.
Zip becomes useful if you need to attach a large number of files to an e-mail message (zip the files, then attach the single zip file) or want to create an archive of multiple files to download from a web site through a single link. In other words, in situations where you need to transmit many files over the internet, especially where Windows users may be involved, zipping files can be either important or a convenience.

  • Where is iSQL*Plus distribution zip file for Oracle 8i (8.1.7)?

I am running Oracle 8i (8.1.7) under Windows 2000. The iSQL*Plus Installation and Users Guide Release 8.1.7 Beta for Windows says the iSQL*Plus distribution zip file can be downloaded from the Oracle TechNet site (http://otn.oracle.com). I went there but could only fine iSQL*Plus for Oracle 9i. I even clicked on a link for the 8.1.7 version but ended up on a page with the 9i version. Can the 8.1.7 version still be downloaded? If so, what http address will get me to it?
I want to run iSQL*Plus on my PC to see if I can access my oracle database from an iMAC (apple computer).
Thanks in advance for your help!

    John,
iSQL*Plus 8.1.7 beta was available only for a short time. That version was in beta testing and not intended for long term use. iSQL*Plus 9.0.1 (with Oracle9i release 9.0.1 for Windows) is more stable, and has more features. iSQL*Plus 9.2.0.1 (just released with Oracle9i release 9.2.0.1 on most platforms!) is even better. You might want to install a version of Oracle9i and use the new, production releases of iSQL*Plus.
