Howw can you adjust the order in wich your photos(not self taken ones but from a folder on your pc)?

i have some photo;s wich have to appear in order (slowmotion capture of a collapsing bridge) but when in sync my ipod(4th gen 4.3.5) it places them in the wrong order.. anybody with a solution

What I am trying to do is: I'm using the 'blog' not as a blog, but as a catalogue. I'm a filmmaker. I wanted to make a single page on my work site that listed the film projects I've completed this last year. I wanted to put a few shots from each film. When I got going I suddenly found myself trying to build a single page with scores of shots ... I hadn't realised how many films I finished last year. Impossible to manage. So I created a 'blog' and each entry represents one of the completed films, with photos and comments. Any clients or potential co-producers can simply scan through the 'blog' entries with a 'previous or next' click ... and then I can add as many stills as I want from each film. The only thing that was not quite so cool, was the fact that there is an artificial date attached to each of the entries (which might be construed as a completion date, which means I made a film each day of the last month). So far the only fix I can think of is to make the background page black, and make the text of the dates black. (The template text is white.)
If you can think of another way I could do something like this - without ending up with twenty separate pages I have to monitor - I'm all ears.
Thanks mucho for the references, I'll check them out. It wasn't too painful to change the dates by hand; there being only twenty or so.

the question is what you want to achieve by doing so. Obviously, transposing is easy. Split the track into two regions. The first region is original pitch, the second is to be transposed. Select the second region. Enter the desired transposition value in the region inspector. Make sure the checkbox "no transpose" is UNchecked in the track inspector.
HOWEVER: You cannot "transpose" minor key into major key. This is because the intervals of full steps / half steps is different for minor and major. The 3rd and the 6th step is a half step in minor, while it is a full step in major. Therefor you must adjust the MIDI events in the piano roll editor to change minor to major and vice versa.

You can use the music on other music players that support the format that itunes uses.

I had an espiode the other day where the MacBook got so hot that it basically shut down. Can the fan be adjusted and how do I get to the area to adjust it? I am fairly new to the world of MacBooks and would appreciate the advice.

That said, it sounds a bit strange that the MacBook would run so hot. The fan should adjust itself to the CPU warmth. If that is not happening, I'd investigate whether the fan really works.

Can you adjust the sensitivity (Skipping through Transients)?

Protools lets you skip through your waveforms while editing (quick). Logic goes to every little waveform (Transient) to detailed. You know when you go to BeatMapping when you adjust the sensitivity to lets say (50) it goes to the Highest waveform and marks it.
What I want to do is in the (Arrange Window) >I want to skip through and cut up my waveforms by the Highest Peaks of the wave! (Does that make sense)

I have 10 drum tracks regions marquee selected and I have the kick track selected and when I shift right arrow all the tracks are analyzed but I want ONLY the kick's transients to be analyzed since there is no noise between the hits. The noise and non gated low level signals are causing the transient detector to make a stop every little step I do not want this, nor do you. How do we use this feature and still make the cuts across all the tracks based on the kick's transients ?

Can you change the date sort direction in Photos?

In iPhoto I had my events sorted by date such that the most recent events came first (at the top) and within the events ordered the other way round, i.e. earlier photos at the top of an event. Can you control the sort order of events in the new Photos app to this degree?
At the moment when I look at the events album that has been imported I can only seem to have the events sorted by name or in date order with the older events at the top.
NB - Does anyone else think "Photos" is a really dumb name for the app when you consider trying to use any search engine to find information about it?

When you share your project, use SHARE/EXPORT USING QUICKTIME.
Click Options.
In the Sound settings/Channels, choose MONO.
In the Video settings, choose the codec of your choice (probably h.264) under Compression.

Are you talking about trying to add your desktop to Flash Player's trusted locations? If so, you use the "Advanced" tab on the Local Settings Manager to designate folders and files as trusted. (Full path is Advanced->Developer Tools->Trusted Location Settings.) Can I manually adjust the height of the toolbar navigation buttons in the skin file? It seems no matter how tall I make the nav panel, the buttons adjust size accordingly. Can I tell it to be 50% or something like that? For example, this is what I see for the glossary button.

You must be someone that dearly loves digging into code.
The simplest way to adjust the buttons is to use the built in Skin Editor.
Hmmm, and in writing that response it occurs to me that you haven't exactly advised which of the outputs you are creating. The skin editor I'm referring to is the WebHelp skin editor. To open it, click View > Pods > Project Set-up. Once that pod is open you should see the Skins folder. Expand that and double-click the skin you are using to open and edit it using the skin editor.

Just curious...
In every other Adobe program you can control the "ratio" of the small caps function by percentage. (The small cap is 80% of the large cap, etc)
I'm not seeing where I can adjust this vital setting in Photoshop, any version.
Help appreciated.

Smart objects from IND is one workaround. Set type in IND, export as PDF, and place PDF as smart object in PS. You should be able to edit using any PS effects you need. If the type is still editable as PS type, then the smart object equivalent should be editable as well.
To edit the smart object, go back to IND, tweak the type, re-export PDF, and then replace the smart object contents in PS with the updated PDF. Six clicks and presto! :)
This seems a three-sides-of-the-square solution. Why you can't edit the PDF in Acrobat is beyond me. Not like I'm using the workflow in production or anything... maybe someone has a better way.
ed: warp text is a bust. Maybe you're just better off making your own small caps...
